I lie here awake all night . Staring at the plain white ceiling . Unchanging and boring . I remember thinking to myself: "Why couldn't my Mother have just lived ? Why did she die...?"

This question burning in my mind , unanswered . I felt as if it were somehow my fault..maybe that's why he wasn't telling me...

I woke up with bright light shining in my face from the outside . "Meghan , have you seen my dad ?" Carl asked nervously .

"Im sure he's around here somewhere ." I smiled

"No he's not , he's not here . But I don't know where he went...Shane isn't here either . The stranger is gone too..."

"It's okay , really it is . Maybe they're just taking him on a run ."

"Yeah , you're right ." He gave me a nice long hug . A hug that made me feel warm inside .

"Maybe you should go ask your mom , I bet she'd know where he is ." I smiled .

"Okay I will , See you later!" He replied .

Rick has been gone a while . Maybe something happened to him...

"Dad! Dad!" I screamed .

No answer .

"Dad!" Maybe he's gone too...oh no...there's something going on...

"They left earlier darlin , they're off in the woods on a run..." Hershel said . I didn't believe him . He's a bad liar .

If nobody will tell me where they really are Ill go look myself . I grab a gun from the RV when nobody is looking and then I venture into the trees .

I walk for what feels like an hour with nobody in sight . Where could they be ? I didn't think they'd have gone this far...I hear a stick break behind me . Oh god...

"Hello ?" I turn around and nobody is there . So I turn back around and-

CARL'S POV

"Meghan , My mom said my dad is-" I look around and Meghan isn't in the house anymore .

"Baby , come here ." My mom said .

"Yeah ?"

"Meghan is nowhere in sight , have you seen her ?" She asked concerned .

"No , I haven't . Last I saw her was a half hour ago...mom , what is going on ?" I asked confused .

"Carl stay in the house ." She said as she left .

I left the house .

As soon as I couldn't see my mom anymore I ran out into the woods to look for her .

"Meghan! Meghan! Where are you!?" I ran as fast as a could .
