"Pshh, of course not," I deny.

"Just tell us what's wrong, (Y/N). We care about you okay, so instead of trying to hide your feelings, tell us what's wrong... unless you don't care," Eren spits. The words he spoke sting and burn, and I look up to him with great sorrow. I'm not ready to tell him I love him yet...

"I feel guilty for having my parents alive," I say. Shit. Why did I say that in front of three people with dead parents. I internally scream. I hate having to evaluate in my mind what I say to people in case I say something that really hurts them...that's why I tend to keep my mouth shut.

I once broke my close bond with Jean, by accidentally saying Marco was half hearted.

"He wanted to join the Military Police...to serve the king," Jean had talked to me the night he found his deceased body.

"Oh Jean, he's half hearted. He was kind enough to want to serve the king but a fool to want to be stuck in the interior ," I stared at him slowly.

"Half hearted..." Jean repeated. I mentally slit my wrists that night and kept my mouth shut ever since, not wanting to hurt anyone else.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean..." I try to make up for my words.

"No, you have ever right to feel bad." Eren said, clearly offended.

"It's not your fault, (Y/N)," Armin said quietly.

"No," Tears fall from my eyes. "I feel guilty because I don't deserve to have them alive more than any of you do," I say regretting joining the Scouts in the first place. "If I didn't want to join the Scouts I wouldn't have felt this guilt, or be worried who's next..."

I feel a warm embrace wrap around my shoulders, and look up to see Eren, a tear rolling down his cheek. My insides tremble and I shake in shock and he pulls off me as our group starts to arrive. If they saw it, my cover is blown.

"You're shaking," He says softly.

"I...I...I'm...sorry" I choke.

"Okay guys!" Hanji squeals, running over to us with the rest of the group. "Titan testing- Eren you'll have to transform because we don't have any real titans..." She begins to speak. Everyone glances at us, with looks that obviously mean they saw Eren hug me.

"Eren?" Hanji repeats. "Oh, (Y/N). Did you tell him?"

"No," I snap back fully unaware what she is talking about.

"Tell me what?" Eren asks.

"That I like your titan form," I say. It's technically not a lie...

"You what?" He looks at me in confusion.

"Haha, well everyone's been trying to hide it from you as well as myself because...I thought you'd think I'm a bit...odd?" I weakly smile.

"Yeah," Conny plays along. "She thinks it's really hot...and...um"

"...She didn't want you to know! Because she thought you'd think she liked you!" Sasha ends the broken sentence.

"That's why she's my titan twin!" Hanji hugs me around my waist.

"That explains a lot," Eren points out. "I thought you were shy around me for some reason..."

"Yeah, well, know you now!" I lie, biting back my tongue before any more words can come out.
