My precious dwarfskies were surprised to see that a 20-year-old hooded figure would try to steal the Delightful Diamond and a bunch of crap that's underneath Starchbottom's bed. She was still holding the bed so that she could take the stuff under it, but then she placed it back down gently to it's rightful spot, led down her hood and begin reaching something out from her left hoodie pocket.
Bashful: FLOPPIN' SCHLOPPIN' FLOOM!!!! (hides behind Dopey in fear) SHE'S GRABBING OUT A WEAPON!!!!
Dopey: (whistles "Oh noooo!", then zips his eyes shut)
Sneezy and Sleepy: (both hugging each other, frightened) Oh, what could it be?!
Just then, Dopey unzipped his eyes and saw what the figure was holding.
Dopey: (whistles "That isn't a weapon.")
The dwarves each saw that the figure was holding out a large piece of artwork of all of them with her.
Grumpy: What in Gorgonzola's name?
Doc: Hmm... Dopey's right, fellas. This isn't anything dangerous at all!
Happy: It's a lovely portrait of us smiling and having a happy time!
The cheerful dwarf walked up to the figure and shook her hand with gratitude.
Happy: My name is Happy, and these are my best pals! Bashful, Dopey, Sneezy, Sleepy, Doc and we can't forget about Grumpy.
The 5D: Hi, hello!
Grumpy: Meh.
Happy: And what shall we call you, ma'am?
Figure: (clears throat) I am Empathy . I'm able to share... or understand the feelings of someone else. Like, for example, (points at Grumpy) Grouchy has feelings for someone who he's really close with.
Grumpy: (looks at Doc, then back at her) Uh, no I don't!
Empathy: Yes, you do!
Sneezy: I don't mean to change the subject, but what exactly is this portrait for?
Empathy: That was in my hoodie so that you all can sign it. I'm a major fan of each one of you!

Only 6 of them signed the portrait, each with their own signature and color. But all is left was for Grumpster to do so, but he refused.
Doc: C-mon, Grumpster. She's just a harmless, loyal fan! She wouldn't hurt a fly!
Grumpy: (blushes at when Doc called him Grumpster ) F... fine! I'll sign the flibbin' flabbin' art!
A mechanical hand in Doc's hat gave Grumpy a pen so that he could sign it. After that, Grumpy gave the pen back to the hand and it went back in Doc's hat, then he crossed his arms and looked away from Empathy, who then grinned at each of the signatures of her idols.
Empathy: Thank you, all of you!
Happy: Our most pleasure, Empathy!
Empathy: (shrills ) Can I sing a song with each of you!
Happy: We'd be delighted!
Grumpy: No, we won't!
Doc: Just let it go.
Grumpy: Oh, so you're bringing up that horrible song?! Fascinating, Doc!
The cheerful dwarf grabbed out his guitar and started strumming it, he let the others start off the song, starting with Sleepster.
Sleepy: 🎵Please don't stop the music, please don't stop the music! Please don't stop the music, please don't stop the music!🎵
Dopey: (whistles 🎵It's gettin' late, I'm making my way over to my favorite place! I gotta get my body moving, shake the stress away!🎵)
Sneezy: 🎵I wasn't looking for nobody when you looked my way, possible candidate, yeah!🎵
Bashful: 🎵Who knew that you'd be up in here lookin' like you do. You're making stayin' over here impossible. Baby, I'ma say your aura is incredible, if you don't have to go, don't!🎵
Grumpy: 🎵Do you know what you started? I just came here to party, but now we're rockin' on the dance floor, actin' naughty!🎵

Max is a twelve-year-old boy from the slums who dreams of seeing the world, learning magic, and adventure. On the same day that Max learns his first spell, he meets Colt, a noble-born lad on his own path to power. Colt is kind. Oblivious to the world, but kind. By his grace, Max begins to learn under Colt's instructor, even hunting monsters in the forests to the north. Max is talented and grows in power quickly, but as he prepares for the first of his adventures, the kingdom faces the greatest threat in centuries. Posting Schedule: Every 3 days until the end of Book 1 (Chapter 45). IMPORTANT NOTES: 1) This is a story about an OP boy doing OP boy things. By the end of Book 1, there will be few fights that he struggles with, and he will rarely, if ever, find his life in peril. 2) This is a slice-of-life and adventure story, which means that there will be periods of chapters without any action or conflict, but also periods of chapters with battles and exploration/adventure (the latter mostly being Book 2+). 3) There will be NO petty squabbles or conflicts going on in this story, because it is meant to be a fun one, not a high-tension, drama-filled story. So it will NOT be that. If you want lots of action or lots of conflict, then find another story to read because this isn't it. 4) There will never be an overarching evil/villain/conflict to deal with in this story past Book 1. Ever. 5) Book 1 is entirely written and can be considered a standalone story on its own. Right now, the story may last 2-3 books, or it may last 7-10 books. It is guaranteed to make it through Book 2 or 3, and if I decide to go with the bigger journey I have planned after that, then it will be longer. There will be a several-month wait between Book 1 and Book 2. 6) The story contains the sexual content tag, but it will not contain any unless Max and his future boyfriend reach 18+ years of age in-story. If I decide to bring the story to a conclusion with Book 2 or 3, or they never reach that age in the full story for the long journey, then I will remove the tag. 7) There are currently absolutely no plans to make this story into a harem if I write the extended story. If I write the extended story and decide at some point to make it one, then I will add the appropriate tag and inform readers of this decision. However, there are currently zero plans to make it one. 8) This story takes place in its own story universe, with its own rules. Please keep that in mind when reading it and other stories.
