I drew a picture

of a family

I drew smiles on their faces

and arms that wrapped

around each other

Drew eyes that shined bright

and you could tell,

they loved each other.

Standing at the edge

in the corner of the picture,

was a girl

There was no smile

on her lips

And her arms stayed

by her side

There was not a trace of love,

nor light

in her eyes

She was part of the family,

but she ruined my picture

So I scribbled her out

and then I ripped her

And now I had,

my perfect picture
