Beauty and the Beast

She met him on the bridge, a sunset glowing brightly and reflecting off the beautiful blue crystal ocean. Her (long/short/medium) hair flowed with the wind, her (e/c) orbs shining brightly with so much passion and life in them. Riku on the other hand, had dull and broken eyes that stared deathly at the ocean, his grey hair had a small shine but was very dull like his eyes, his heart had been frozen from the recent events that happened to him. sadly he was upset because he and Sora lost one of their best friends: Kairi. A very sweet girl may I add.

She walked up to Riku seeing his pain and felt it in her heart to help in a way, to cheer him up. she felt connected to him just by looking at him, she felt something she never felt with anyone else before.

"Hello, I'm (Y/N) what's yours?" she asks him in a soft angelic tone, so soft that you'd probably think she was an angel. As Riku turned to look at her he quickly wiped his eyes, a tear fell from his cheek and onto the wooden docks, she didn't say anything but when the tear fell she felt as if she was just broken in a million pieces. "I'm Riku." he said in a calm voice, broken but calm and peaceful.

That's how it started. how their friendship started, how their hearts connected and made one heart of both the things they absolutely loved and cherished.

(Y/N) met Sora and made great friends with him, they all became best friends and nothing would change it, they told stories of Kairi and how she used to be the 'damsel in distress'. Inside Riku and Sora couldn't replace Kairi but they felt as if she was slowly being replaced, but they didn't care.

They started a new raft, and this time they would surely leave that world and go to another happily

That was their past, they all managed to get away from the island and to Traverse Town. But as they did, Riku suddenly changed, he turned into a beast, not physically, but mentally he ran away from Sora and (Y/N) never looking back to them he kept running away... Until it was just her who went looking for him. That was when he stopped running away from her.

(Y/N) looked up at Riku and frowned "Riku, I know you're in there somewhere, I just wish you could stop running and talk to me, really al I want to do is help you, When I saw you, the first moment I looked into your broken eyes that one day, I felt as if it was my job to help you, like I was supposed to be by your side until the very end when you or I take our last breaths... Please just look at me and come back to Sora and I... We miss you" her words broke his frozen heart, it melted the ice that caged him away from everyone, finally after a few minutes he broke down in tears, he was no longer the beast he was before. As she kneeled down, he growled and pushed her away "you! This is all your fault! I lost my best friend! And you came in to replace her! You don't feel bad, I hate your guts! I never cared about you and I never will!" he yelled leaving her in utter shock and sadness, her world crashing down like a meteor she started, she started running the opposite way in tears, she went to look for Sora. Riku instantly felt bad, he felt like he lost another friend.

(Y/N) ran into Sora's arms and sobbed "what's wrong?" Sora asked with worry, "Riku!" she started to explain every word he had told her. Sora in the end grew angry with what Riku said and did to her and stomped off to find him.

Sora ran towards Riku and pinned him down "WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU?! SHE'S DONE NOTHING WRONG TO YOU!!" Sora yelled making Riku jumped a little "WHY DOES IT MATTER TO YOU?!" "BECAUSE IM YOUR FRIEND AND SO IS SHE!" Sora yelled once more, Riku's eyes narrowed down "get off me so I can apologize to her then" Sora moved away and Riku got up, walking to where he thought she would be he grabbed a flower and the Paopu fruit on the way.

Gently tapping her shoulder she turned around and looked away "what do you want?" she crosses her arms and turns away "to apologize for being an idiot and jerk to you" he said softly. (Y/N) blushed a bright red when Riku held out the fruit and flower in front of her, she took the flower and smiled, she split the fruit in half and took a bite, riku did the same with the other half. Riku placed a hand on her cheek and smiled leaning down a little, he kissed her deeply and lovingly, she kissed back the same way. Sora came in and grinned cheekily "so cute" Riki and (y/n) pulled away and started chasing sora around
