Imagine: Eddie and Venom trying to bake you a cake for your birthday.
"No! It says 1 1/4 teaspoon of salt." Eddie argues.
Venom asks angrily.
"Right next to the bowl." Eddie grabs it and puts the salt in, mixing it together.
The two are trying to make a birthday cake for you. Which of course consisted of a lot of yelling.
"Sorry."
"Well I can't focus if you're yelling!"
"If you're so fucking smart, then you do it!"
"You're doing it wrong!"
Eddie finally mixes the batter together and now he has to make the frosting. "Pass me the cocoa powder."
Eddie groans.
"You can eat it after. I need it." Venom reluctantly hands Eddie the cocoa powder and Eddie mixes it together. He puts the frosting aside and puts the cake layers in the oven.

You walk into the house after work to smell something burning. You drop your bag and run to the oven, turning it off.
"Boys!" You yell, causing Eddie to jolt awake.
"Shit!" Eddie yells when he gets off the couch. "Ugh. All that hard work for nothing." You grab the oven mitts and pull it out of the oven and put it on the counter.
"What were you trying to do? Burn the place down?!" You ask, tossing the oven mitts down.
"That—that's not helping right now." You say.
Venom says.
"Aw. Guys... you didn't have to do that. We could have just bought one."
"But we wanted it to be special." Eddie says.
"Any birthday I spend with the two of you is special enough for me."
"Ven, it's ok. I'm not mad. It's the thought that counts."
"So what do we do now?" Eddie asks.

"Now... you clean up this kitchen and then we go buy the biggest chocolate cake we can find." Venom looks at Eddie.
"You know this is for Y/N's birthday. Not for your complete enjoyment right?"
"Venom will end up eating what we can finish anyway." You say coming into the kitchen. "So it's kinda his cake too." Venom smiles brightly.
Venom says.
"What thing?" Eddie digs in his pocket and pulls out a small box.
You take the box and open it. It's a drop diamond necklace.
"Yeah but technically I paid for it." Eddie says.
"It's beautiful." You kiss Venom's cheek. "Thank you. Both of you. Much better than a cake."
Venom says. Eddie rolls his eyes.
