《Cinder x Male Reader: Volume 2》Epilouge

Well, it's been a while ( not really) since we left off. Things really turned out well for us, and the empire.
Mercury and Sapphire returned to Atlas, where they would rule in peace. When some of our other kingdoms were destroyed in the war, citizens flocked to Atlas. Atlas thrived economically, and became a centerpiece for us to follow. Mercury and Sapphire also had two kids, and lived out the rest of their days in peace.
Adam returned to Mistral to lead his fellow faunas. He was content with his life and accomplishments, having done exactly what he set out to do.
Raven set out to find any remaining rebels, knowing they wouldn't be the last. She found some eventually, and when she did, she executed them publicly and brutally. Her actions set fear into the hearts of her people, and any would be revolutionists.
After the war, Emerald spiraled into deep depression. She never wanted to do this, much less see some of her close friends die. We tried to comfort her but, it wasn't enough. Soon, she left and set out on her own path, seeking redemption. Although, she would never find it.
Our kingdoms and alliance thrived, everyone was kept in line, and order was restored. It got so well to the point that we didn't even need to kill any rebels, the people did that for us. Oh yeah, after that little...confrontation with my men about Jake's sister ( The dog faunas), My men were never cruel to any citizens again.
As for Cinder and I...Well
Cinder and I were laying on the roof of our castle, watching the fireworks, marking the end of the war.
Cinder sighed in relief.
"It's Nice isn't it? Now we can relax, and not worry about any of this anymore." She said, as I nodded.
"Yeah, it's awesome. Just you and me." I said smiling to her.
"Well, I hope you don't mind company." She said, smiling.
"W-What?" I asked. She then rubbed her stomach.
"I'm pregnant."

Unwitting Champion
"In stories this is always easy. There's magic and powers, and quick steps to claiming that power for one's self. This doesn't feel true for me. I'm supposed to be a Champion, whatever that means, and yet I don't feel important. I don't have all the bells and whistles, which honestly feels familiar even in a new world. But what was I expecting? I haven't had the worst life - there are people with worse problems than mine - I've known what it is to struggle, to be pulled down instead of being helped up.This is nothing new."When in great peril, the Kingdom of Althor has no choice but to send a call into the void, beseeching the Fates to bring them a man who would save them from the coming darkness. Unfortunately the path the Fates chart is often unknowable to men and the Champion who appears is not what the kingdom expected.Unwitting Champion is a story of a guy displaced, dealing first and foremost with trying to survive in a world where he is no longer a person but a tool, and - at least from the reaction of those around him - a shoddy one at that. His major goal is to survive long enough that either he can run or find a way home, because as exciting as the possibility of learning magic might be, he would rather have a boring life than a short life.
