《Aquila. [Uchiha Madara ]》Epilogue

It has been a few years since the loss of Ramiko. Her body laid peacefully next to Izuna. Aquila was towering over the two graves, and she stood by Mito giving a slight prayer.
"It shouldn't have happened.." Aquila sighed as she placed a few daisies on top of the two tombstones.
"She'll be within our hearts." Mito complied gently letting on the subject. As the walk back was silent.
"Mommy!" A small boy ran to Mito nearly the age of six. Aquila smiled softly as she remembered that she couldn't bear any children sadly.
But luckily for Aquila, she had married Madara but to her circumstances, they were unable to have children due to a wound she was inflicted a few years back.
It laid present day that Madara has been doing all he can for the village. He started to more care for the people as he opened up. No actually..
Aquila had opened himself up. The heart that felt cold all these years.
As he stood in with Hashirama at the red building. Hashirama was the first to speak. "I've been meaning to ask you."
Hashirama stood up with a gleeful smile. "Hn?"
"Would you accompany me in the Kage summit?"
"Why would I do that?" Madara asked rolling his eyes as he raised his brows in unison. "I need someone to be there with me." Hashirama smiled yet again.
"Why not your brother Tobirama?" Madara asked not seeing where this was heading.
"I could, but I rather you there in case other conundrums occurred. I want to make peace offerings to the other countries with bijuu that have been walking freely on this land for centuries." Hashirama replied putting on his kage hat and robe.
"Bijuu? You mean the tailed monstrous beasts that should be locked up and used in the case for wars?" Madara made a 'tsk' noise. "You know... why just keep them? We have them in scrolls. We would be the strongest nation upon this world." Madara suggested carefully watching Hashirama's stoic expression.
"We could... but I think an alliance is more important. This would be a parting gift to all the major countries." Hashirama nodded as he signed the scrolls deciding which nation gets what tailed best. Also, don't forget the smaller nations some would get one at least or even two.

"You're ridiculous you know that Hashirama,"
This made him go into depressed mode making Madara yell at him for his neurosis state.
"Quiet down in there." Came Tobirama's voice. Making Madara glare harshly at the younger brother. But this made Madara smirk deviously.
"Fine, I'll go with you then to the kage summit." Madara crossed his arms over his chest. This was overdoing Tobirama's patience.
"You're bringing this arrogant fool?!" Tobirama glowered followed by a glare.
"WHO ARE YOU CALLING-"
Before he could finish, Hashirama had grabbed Madara and was restraining him from trying to land a hit on the younger Senju.
"Would you guys pipe it down?" Came a soft angelic voice from Aquila and then Mito from behind.
"Otosan!" A small brown headed boy slipped through the door and leapt into Hashirama's arms.
"Hiroshi, calm down." Hashirama coped the child making Aquila's heart swell in the moment.
She wished she could have a moment like this with her own child but she knew she couldn't bear any children. She felt like a failure to her husband...
"Seems busy isn't it?" Mito broke the silence as Hashirama shook his head. "Not at all, I was just hoping Madara would join me on this trip."
Aquila tilted her head, "trip?" she questioned them. "Ah yes, we will be leaving in a few days," Hashirama said while placing the small boy down on his lap.
"How long will you guys be gone for?" Mito pouted. She hated when she's away from her husband on long occasions.
"Possibly for a month. This is taking place in the Land of Iron."
Aquila frowned and so did Mito. 'So a month then?'
"Madara, are you actually considering this?" Aquila narrowed her eyes at him. He didn't want to push the redhead as he knew what she is capable of.
"Uh no... I mean yes." He pursued his lips tightly as Aquila huffed and crossed her arms over her chest avoiding his gaze.
"You should not take an Uchiha, ANIKI!" Tobirama was furious that he wasn't chosen. "Trust me, I chose him for a reason." Hashirama had implicated.
Madara had sighed not even averting his gaze in anything particular other than closing his eyes and leaning back on the wall where his hair covered parts of his face.
"Well then... I wish you two well on your trip." Aquila bowed having her voice feeling a little sturdy with that sentence. She left and decided to navigate towards the end of the village. She hid herself up in the trees. She couldn't come face to face with anyone.

She had missed the comfort of Ramiko, her soothing words always calmed her. Aquila had felt distant with Madara for the past few months.
She wished he would touch her like he used to. To feel his affection again is what she desired most. Aquila loved him dearly... she was scared she'll lose him.
'Possibly found someone else who would give him a baring?' she shook that thought out quickly. He couldn't have... but she wondered if it was possible.
"Maybe I'm just a burden..." she said with a melancholy tone. Her sadness crept in her.
"Oi! Get down from there! The Hokage doesn't like it when people are near here!"
She looked down seeing Akane... Tobirama's arrogant wife. Aquila knew how much Ramiko hated her. But she rarely encountered the woman. She too didn't particularly like her as well.
"Right..." Aquila jumped down hiding her expressed face by her hair and was about to turn away.
"Wait a moment. You're Madara's wife..." she stared at the redhead within question.
"Yes, and?" Aquila was feeling irritated by the blue headed girl. "Hmph it was nothing..." her voice trailed off while Akane looked down sadly.
"Yeah, it's nothing." Aquila began to walk back leaving her there.
She hated when people would turn their head away from her because she was his lover. It made her blood curdle beneath her skin.
As she entered their home. She walked past his 'office' and into their shared room. Just a normal usual routine for her? Possibly. Just as she slammed the door shut so she can enjoy a hot bath.
Just as she was about to slip off her kimono from her shoulders. She felt him right behind her...
"Aquila? You're back late."
She jerked back. 'How did he-'
She shook her head looking at him. "I was out. That's all."
She pulled her kimono up more so her cleavage wasn't showing much at all.
"I-I rather have some privacy right now." she looked back towards the huge hot tub that was shaped roundly.
"Something is bothering you, what is it?" His voice was austere and stern as she looked at him with wide eyes.
"It's n-nothing!" She waved her arms up in defence which he didn't buy her excuse.
He touched her cheek making the girl flinch at his touch which he frowned. "Aquila..." he was going intolerable at the woman.
She enveloped him in a hug and had tears covering her vision. "I'm sorry," was all she said. She sobbed into his chest.
He had brought her towards the bed to sit on. Which she was still clinging onto him as if she were in danger. "Why are you crying? What happened? Is it because of me going to the Kage summit?" he questioned looking down at her. She shook her head and looked up to meet his gaze.
"I'm sorry that I'm such a burden to you... I can't help it," she rested her head against his shoulder as he wrapped an arm around her waist to pull her closer.
"What are you talking about? I've been busy with the clan, no need to feel like that." He tried to soothe her gently.
His fingers interlacing her soft crimson hair. "I want you to come back safe," she said as she rubbed her puffy eyes as her cheeks were stained with fresh tears.
"Hmph. Of course, besides I'm the second most powerful shinobi to ever live." He said with a small smirk.
"Huh?! Then who's number one?" she lifted her head to face him. She still sat in his lap comfortably.
"Hashirama..." he sighed but he noticed her mood had changed. He missed her dearly from the past couple months he had been distant and so was she.
"Wow, that's shocking," Aquila gave a cheeky grin. As she hugged him again. Her affection growing more.
"Before you go, I wish your journey well, tell me about the Kage's when you get back." She laughed softly while the man faintly smiled.
"I love you," she leaned in to kiss him gently. As she was on top of him now as he laid back onto the bed.
He smiled into the kiss as his hands were still holding her waist in place.
"I love you as well, Aqui-san." He purred as she laid beside him leaning her head against his chest again.
"Please come back safe."
"I will."
