(Time skip month and a half to December 23)

I had sent Ami out to grab a few things for Madara's birthday so he wouldn't be suspicious, Ami normally ran off to do random things throughout the day so it wasn't odd for her to be gone. I was sitting at the table with Madara, eating some rice and reading over a scroll when I sensed her chakra nearing the house

"Mooooooommmm" She yelled and I looked up as the door slammed open and a blur of brown and red darted in. I had no time to prepare myself before I was thrown onto my back with the chair painfully beneath me and Ami on my chest

"Whattt" I whined as I wriggled off the chair, keeping Ami over the top of me

"I met the most adorable boy when I was walking through the Village" She said excitedly and I giggled slightly seeing the glazed over look in her eyes as she clasped her hands together and leaned her head to the side

"Oh? What's his name?" I asked and she grinned wider, her eyes focusing back on me

"Kagami" She said excitedly as she rolled off me and onto the ground, a big blush covering her cheeks and stupid grin on her face. I heard Madara made a sound of acknowledgment and I looked up at him, he had both of our bowls of rice in front of him and I registered in the back of my mind that he saved the rice from Ami's attack and not me.

"He's an Uchiha, probably the closest to Ami's intelligence and age" He said lightly and I smiled as Ami jumped up and looked at Madara

"Tell me about himmm" She said, pressing her palms to the table and standing on her tippy toes looking at Madara who smiled

"Then what will you two have to talk about?" He asked and I giggled slightly as I got up and fixed my chair

"But I have to know what to talk to him about" She pouted

"Just talk to him, you will find you have a lot in common" He said and she puffed out her cheeks

"He's right, it will ruin the fun if you already know everything about him" I said and let the air from her cheeks

"Fineee" She muttered as she walked around the table and climbed under Madara's arm and into his lap to read the scroll he was reading from. I smiled slightly seeing her with her elbows on the table and her chin resting on her palm while Madara rested his chin at the top of her head, in between her pigtails. I stood up and gave each of them a kiss on the forehead feeling warmth spread through my chest seeing the two of them together

"I love you two" I said as I cleared my bowl of rice

"Love you too mom/Naria" They said in sync followed by Ami's giggle

"What do you two want to do with the rest of the day?" I asked as I walked out and they both looked up at me

"I am fine to just stay in and read, Tobirama got me a cool adventure book" Ami said and I smiled

"Sounds fun" Madara added as he moved to let Ami up. She darted upstairs to go grab her book while I walked over and took the place on Madara's lap. I rested my head against his and smiled as I read along with him, none of the words went through my head though.. I was too busy enjoying the heat radiating from his body and the feeling of his thumb slowly moving over my hip. A moment later Ami came down stairs and flopped down on the couch, holding the book in front of her face. It was quiet for a bit as I ran my fingers slowly through the ends of Madara's hair and acted as though I was actually reading his scroll.

"Do you like when I pet your hair?" I asked curiously and he looked up at me with a smile

"Yeah its soothing, although it would be a bit awkward if I didn't because you do it all the time" He said with a laugh and I grinned and pressed a kiss to his cheek

"It's so smooth" I said with a little laugh and I was about to stand up but Madara's hand that was placed over my hip moved to wrap around my waist.

"where else do you have to be?" He mumbled, his smooth lips moving across my bare neck making me shiver slightly.

"I was going to go grab a book from Tobirama's house since I have read everything here" I said and I felt him hug around me a bit tighter before letting go

"Alright" He said giving me a few soft kisses on my neck and I smiled as I turned and pressed a quick kiss to his lips. I made my way over to Tobirama's house and saw him looking over a large fan when I opened the door

"You found it" I said excitedly and he looked up at me with a smile

"Of course I did, did you think I would just forget where an ancient Uchiha fan was" he said and I giggled excitedly as I walked up to him and ran my fingertips along the old wood

"Although I did have to dig it up, the building in which we kept our weaponry was destroyed a while back" He said as he handed it to me

"Do you think he will like it?" I muttered as looked over the weapon

"I don't see why he wouldnt, it did belong to his ancestors" he said and I giggled as I handed it back to him

"To be completely honest I'm surprised you remembered it" He said as I walked over to his shelf and pulled down a random book

"I was with the squad of people who recovered it.. hard to forget" I said as I walked over to Tobirama and wrapped my arms around his torso

"Thank you so much Tobirama, I really appreciate it" I said as he wrapped his arms around me tightly

"Anything for you Naria" He said and I squeezed him tightly before letting him go

"I gotta go back but I owe you lunch something" I said as I opened the door

"I am holding you to that" he said and I grinned as I walked back out the door. When I got back to my house Madara was on the couch with Ami's head in his lap. He glanced up at me and smiled as I walked over and sat on the arm of the couch. I leaned my back against the wall and let Madara put his arm over my thighs as we all read for a bit, his fingers moving slowly across my leg. I watched as Madara's eyes stared blankly at the paper as if he were in deep thought. I shrugged it off but kept glancing up curiously and my eyes caught when his closed tightly as if he were in pain. I closed my book and leaned forward, catching Madara's attention as his eyes wandered to me

"Are you alright?" I asked curiously and he furrowed his brows in confusion

"Why wouldn't I be" He countered and I scrunched up my nose in slight frustration, trying to figure out why he wouldn't tell me if he was hurt.

"Sharingan.." I mumbled as the answer came to the forefront of my mind

"What?" He asked, tilting his head to the side cutely

"You don't trust me with your Sharingan" I mumbled and he looked at me as though I was crazy

"Naria, you have to stop thinking aloud" He said but I just raised my hand to his chin and turned head more towards me so I could see into his dark eyes

"Can I look closer at your eyes?" I asked and he frowned

"Why?" he asked and Ami looked up at us from his lap

"Is something wrong with your eyes?" She asked and he looked down at her

"Nothing is wrong" He said but I frowned and raised my hand carefully to his eyes He didn't lean away from my touch, he rather submitted himself as I placed my palm over his eyes and focused my chakra. I gasped slightly when I saw how damaged they were and I pulled away my palm to uncover his bright red Sharingan

"Your going blind" I muttered and his frown deepened

"Wait really?" Ami asked as she sat up on her knees facing Madara

"Yes, it seems overusing your Mangekyo Sharingan causes blindness" He said sadly

"Why didn't you say something we could try to heal it" I said as I raised my hands to his eyes again but he grabbed my wrist to stop me

"It is inevitable, there is only one cure and it is impossible at the time being" He said and I frowned

"What's the cure?" I asked, preparing myself to do anything necessary to bring back his sight

"Taking the eyes of another user of the Mangekyo Sharingan, the only other person is Izuna and I will not be taking my brothers eyes" He said and I felt my plans deflate with his words

"Why did you say 'at the time being'?" Ami questioned

"Izuna and I have spoken and we agreed that in death we don't care if the other takes our eyes" He said and I nodded slowly

"How bad is it?" I asked and he frowned looking down at his hands

"It is easier to see with my Sharingan active but either way everything is blurry" He said and I frowned as I moved a bit of his hair from his face so I could see both of his eyes

"Oh oh" Ami said and I looked at her as she pulled her glasses off and squinted her eyes to carefully put them on Madara. I saw his chest rise as he let out a loud laugh that made my bones vibrate with joy.

"Do they help?" She asked excitedly and Madara wrapped his arms around her small form pulling her into his lap

"A bit.. you have really poor eyesight Ami" He said and she giggled into his robe

"I know" She said lightly and I giggled looking closer at Madara. The frame of the glasses was black and they just barely fit his face but it was hardly noticeable because his hair framed his face.

"You look really hot in glasses" I said absently and immediately covered my mouth as I let out a loud laugh looking at Ami's grossed out face. Madara laughed as he pulled the glasses off and put them back on Ami

"Thanks but you need these more than me Ami and Naria, I thought I was good enough without glasses" He said and Ami immediately stuck out her tongue

"Gross, don't flirt in front of me" She whined and I laughed lightly as she got to her feet and dramatically flattened her shirt

"I'm going to my room to read you two are too distracting" She said and she quickly darted up the stairs. Once she was upstairs I looked back at Madara and cupped his warm cheek in my palm, running my thumb over the smooth skin.

"Can I try to heal them a bit?" I asked and he nodded and leaned his head back. I placed my hands over his eyes and they glowed green as I mended what I could. When I pulled my hands away he opened his dark eyes and they widened slightly as they looked around the room quickly

"Better?" I asked quietly and he looked up at me with a wide smile that showed off his beautifully white teeth. He grabbed my wrists and pulled me into him more and expertly moved so my lips were pressed firmly against his.

"Much better, thank you Naria" He said as he kissed me again and I felt his upturned lips against mine

"We should go to sleep too I'm kinda tired" I said once we broke apart and he nodded and leaned forward to put down the scroll

"Were you just pretending to read?" I asked curiously and he chuckled

"No I activated my Sharingan periodically to read it" he said and I nodded with a little laugh. We went up stairs and I smiled as I slipped under the covers with Madara next to me.

"I really appreciate this" he said as he pulled me closer to him by my waist. I smiled as I wrapped my arm around his shoulders and played with a bit of his hair

"I wish you had told me sooner, but I am happy to heal you anytime" I said and he smiled and kissed my forehead. I felt his hand slowly trace down my waist to my thigh and he pulled my leg up over his body and turned back onto his back so I was laying over him. I hummed appreciatively and snuggled a bit closer to him enjoying the feeling of his fingers traveling across my thigh soothingly, sending me off into a dreamless sleep.

I woke up to someone shaking my shoulders and when I opened my eyes I was facing the opposite direction of what I had gone to sleep in. Madara's warm breath fanned across my neck, shifting some of my hair as he breathed slowly. Ami was standing in front of me with her hand still laying on my shoulder, her other hand was brought up to her mouth with one finger over her lips to keep me quiet and I nodded. She backed away from the bed a few steps before jumping and landing over the top of both of us

"Happy birthday Madaraaa" She said in a sing song voice and I laughed slightly as his breath hitched behind my neck

"Happy birthday" I said as I rolled over under the weight of Ami's laughing form.

"You two haven't gone and made a big deal out of this have you?" He asked sleepily rubbing his eyes and I grinned

"You know we did" Ami answered for us and I saw a small smile spread across Madara's face as he picked up Ami so he could sit up and give her a hug

"Someone has got to make you feel special, that's where we come in" I said as I sat up and wrapped one arm around his toned back, closing my eyes to let out a yawn

"I got you something, and I actually worked for the money to get this so it's more special than if I had to have mom pay for it" Ami said excitedly and I opened my eyes curiously

"When did you work?" I asked and she grinned

"I did stuff for Uncle Hashi and Auntie Mito" She said as she reached in her pocket and put something in Madara's hand. When he opened his palm there was a small locket that was in the shape of a kunai attached to a silver chain.

"I have one too" She said reaching at her neck and pulling a matching necklace from under her shirt

"It's a locket so you can put a picture in it.." She said and she opened her own locket. A soothing song started to play and I smiled at Madara's surprised face..

"It also plays a song" she finished with a grin as she closed it and tucked it back under her shirt. Madara opened his own and the same song started to play from the small kunai

"Do you like it" She asked, her grin never wavering

"I love it Ami, thank you" He said as he wrapped her up in his long arms again. I smiled and gave her a kiss on top of the head before she pulled away...Ami never ceased to surprise me with how sweet she could be

"You can put a picture of us in it and we can always be close to your heart" She said, poking his chest as Madara slipped the chain over his head

"Which is actually perfect Ami because I planned something else for us to do today" I said as I moved the covers from myself and stood up trying to hide my grin

"Are we getting a picture?" She asked excitedly

"We are, that was going to be a surprise for you too" I said and she grinned as she hopped off the bed

"Is that why you had me go get those things yesterday?" She asked and I smiled

"It is, where are they?" I asked and she laughed as she darted out of the room.

"You two really didn't need to do anything" Madara said as he got out of bed and walked over to me

"You are important to us" I said as I wrapped my arms around his neck. He smiled down at me and engulfed me in his big arms

"So what is after the picture?" he asked and I grinned

"Lunch at the new sushi place that opened, then I have more presents for you, then dinner with your brother and Hashirama annnnd Tobirama if you want" I said as I pulled away to look up into his dark eyes that were shining with happiness

"Sounds like a nice day" He said as he dipped his head to press his lips to mine. I heard footsteps and pulled away to look at Ami who came in holding two bags. I opened the one she handed me and pulled out a red sleeveless qipao dress that would reach my calves and had a long slit up one side.

"You know I was worried about trusting you with buying me a dress but this is really nice Ami" I said and she rolled her eyes

"Yes I know, mine is cuter though" She said with a grin as she clutched the other bag to her chest

"Let's see then" I said but she shook her head

"Ruins the surprise" She said and with that she darted from the room, letting out a long giggle as she went

"What a goofball.." I muttered as I turned back to Madara

"You two have been planning this for awhile haven't you?" He asked and I smiled

"Mmmhmm" I hummed as I kissed his smooth, pale cheek

"So the new outfits are for the picture, where is mine?" he asked and I chuckled

"Your present is much better than clothes, plus I know how picky you are and I wasn't going to even try to get the perfect fitting Uchiha robe for you.. especially when you already have so many" I said and he chuckled

"Smart" he mused as he walked over to the closet. I closed the door before stripping off my pajamas and pulling the dress over my shoulders and zipping it up. I felt how tight the fabric was but when I turned around to face Madara his eyes were half lidded and he had a smirk on his face

"I like it, you should wear it a lot more" He said and I laughed as I walked over to the bathroom to look. I smiled at my reflection as I turned to the side to look at my profile, I smiled a bit wider as Madara walked in and wrapped his arms around my waist. He rested his chin on my shoulder and I closed my eyes as I leaned back into him

"How old are you now?" I asked curiously and I heard him laugh

"Twenty three" He muttered and I chuckle and turned to face him

"I remember when I was twenty three" I said in an old woman voice and he rolled his eyes cutely

"Oh yes, three years ago" He said and I laughed

"Come on you two!" Ami yelled and I smiled up at him

"You heard her, let's go birthday boy" I said as I turned around to quickly brush my teeth, when I looked up in the mirror, toothbrush sticking from my mouth I noticed Madara's eyes were trained on my ass.

"Hey perv brush your teeth" I muffled with a laugh as I glanced back at him. He looked up at me with a smirk and I giggled a bit as he ran a hand down my back and cupped my butt

"I wouldn't say I'm a perv, I am just appreciating you" He said, closing his eyes with his smile and I giggled. Once we were both done we darted downstairs and I smiled at Ami who was grinning so brightly her eyes were completely shut.

"You look so cute" I cheered..she was wearing a short sleeve, short kimono with long black leggings that reached her mid thigh. The kimono itself was red and only a few shades off my own and it had a black obi and trim.

"Beautiful" Madara added from behind me and Ami's smile grew bigger if possible

"We actually should be going, the man is supposed to meet us for the picture in the next fifteen minutes" I said, glancing out the window at the sun

"Where are we going?" Madara asked as he opened the door for us

"Just on the outskirt of the village" I said as I started walking. When we got there I saw the older gentleman I had talked to previously setting up his camera facing the trees

"Morning" I greeted and he turned around with a pleasant smile

"Good morning dearie" He said as he glanced at the other two

"I see why you wanted a photo, what a lovely family" He said and I smiled a bit wider, my heart skipping a beat as he called us a family.

"Thank you mister" Ami said as she walked up to stand next to me

"Is there any way you can print two copies of the picture really small?" She asked as she adjusted her glasses

"How small?" He asked and she reached out to pull out the locket and show him

"Oh of course I can, it will cost a bit more though" He said, glancing up at me and Madara
