Nî hâo! You are here because you want good BL novels to read, right? Then, you've come to the right place. This is a plain list of recommendations without review as I made this list in the first place with the thought of compiling the BL novels I like. So basically, the following chapters with one novel each are personal favourites of mine from various genres. I'm aware that anyone has different tastes thus, it may or may not satisfy your cravings. You can observe how my reading galore started from problematic themes to substantial ones which shown how much I have grown as a reader (from tolerating sensitive issues to going against them in form of not reading more of them). However, I wouldn't delete and deny this part of my journey as a reader because it shows my growth. Going to the note purpose, this can be your starting point or guide in your journey to navigate the world of BL novels. So my first reason is because they appeal to me emotionally.

After all, a good novel can awake your emotions, drives you to sympathize and empathize with them. Some novels here are rough translations, some from MTL but had editing attempts but let's give them a round of applause for a hard work done!

Chinese, (Korean and Japanese) novels when directly translated are quite tricky with all those idioms so let's thank our dear translators for giving us readable prose. Otherwise, I wouldn't post them here if they're intolerable as I'm a lowkey grammar nazi myself. If I can't feel the emotions because of the unintelligible usage of words then it's gonna get tossed to the waste basket. I'm still a reader, a picky one at that with my own standards and preferences after all. But I consider teeny-tiny misspellings here and there (I correct them in my mind) but then too much is bad. So there comes the next reason, the technicalities. If I can sense those two optimistically in a novel, the understanding of the characters and plot becomes easier for me.

If you could notice, the novels posted are Asian language novels because I prioritize them for now as original English novels are everywhere and I think they deserve international attention. If you aren't broke like me scavenging for free translations, then please support the authors by buying the raws or original chapters. And of course, our hard-working translators. I hope you read from sites of original translators. They forbid for anyone to copy paste their translation anywhere especially here in Wattpad and I hope that everyone respects that. We, as readers, have to support them on their original sites as respect and thanks for their efforts. Each site of translation is actually free for each novel. From now on, I will remove the Wattpad links as sauce if they are not the original translator. We all love danmei and other BL novels of all other countries. And I love to keep this world peaceful and full of love and respect. I hope you understand. Thank you. 💜💜💜
