we all walked into the concert venue and backstage, the guys waving to screaming fans.
the guys warmed up and that's when she came.
meagan.
she had bronx, the little kid wearing a fall out boy sweatshirt and jeans.
pete nearly dropped his bass and ran to his son, completely blowing off meagan.
he picked up bronx hugged him, close to tears.
"hi daddy" bronx said, laughing as pete hugged him.
the guys kept practicing as the opening act was on, bronx and i sitting and watching.
"where did you mom go?" i asked, looking around for meagan
bronx shrugged "she left"
"oh?" i said.
"i wanna see daddy's concert" bronx said
"okay we can totally watch!" i said, smiling
an hour later we were standing on the side of the stage, watching the screaming fans and the guys perform.
halfway through the concert pete got to the microphone.
"a few months ago i met a girl. we made a 'mistake'. we got married in vegas. i woke up the morning after regretting it, but over time it felt like one of the best things i have ever done, even if i don't remember it. i want to remember my wedding though. so that's why i'm asking you, margo, will you marry me? like, for real?" he said turning so he was facing and getting down on one knee, i screamed and ran across the stage and hugged him, crying.
"yes!"

The Spark
Michael Locke was a normal student, who went through his normal day in a normal fashion, until the day became... unnatural. Shot into the country of Aldemar and thrust into a new world alongside his many classmates, he agrees to work for the king in exchange for shelter and to learn magic. Fate however, is indifferent to his wishes, as he quickly realizes that he may be a hero, but his purpose in this world is quite opposite. Suddenly surrounded on every side, Michael must work to survive, and if anyone finds his secret... He's as good as dead. The Spark is meant to be a murder mystery style isekai, focused on the existence of basically an anti-hero, with every one of the large amount of heroes attempting to discover who the traitor is. This isn't made to be a lovey dovey easy going isekai with an OP mc, it's made to stir around an emotional story, with many dark tones. Still, the goal is to stay fairly light hearted as well, and the perspective will pass around to several characters throughout the story.
