《Trolls world tour A Trollex Story》True Harmony

We made it folks! The final chapter!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tensions ran high when Branch voiced his idea to the leader of the hybrid trolls. To leave Poppy and Barb in the hybrid village to learn how to properly appreciate how different music could coexist with one another. But convincing the hybrid leader to go along with the idea was only half of the plan; Poppy and Barb also had to agree to stay and be willing to learn.
Trollex was not surprised when Poppy jumped at the idea and immediately agreed to go along with it. Poppy had always been determined to do what was best for everyone, even if her ideas had gone too far, twice. So when she was offered a chance to make amends for the damage she'd caused, she agreed.
Barb however, Trollex expected to be stubborn and hot headed as usual, but she also agreed to remain in the hybrid village. In fact she seemed quite relieved by the idea. Trollex suspected that after two failed takeovers and the tension between rock trolls and other music's, Barb was just happy to be able to stay in a village that wasn't familiar with her crimes. A chance to start fresh.
"Shouldn't we leave someone to keep an eye on those two? Especially Barb. I do not want to turn my back on her only for her to attempt another dastardly plan while we are not watching." Trollzart asked the group while crossing his arms with a 'humph'.
"The hybrid trolls have avoided trouble for a long time while we were busy fighting each other. I'm sure they can handle the two of them. Besides, it wont be forever and then we'll take back the responsibility of watching them. Though I hope this plan works and the precautions wont be needed." Branch said and Trollex could hear the hurt in his voice. It wasn't easy for him to leave Poppy here so far away from Pop village.

Trollzart still looked worried about the idea. Trollex wadded closer from the small pool he was resting in. "Besides, remember how they handled the situation when we first arrived. These hybrids are tough. Honestly we might benefit from following their lead." He pointed out.
"You expect us to all become hybrids? No individual music?" Trollzart asked with a hiss.
"Not at all, I just mean we should allow our trolls to choose another music or more than one. Prince D already is two music."
The conversation suddenly cut off when a familiar voice cleared her throat to grab their attention from behind. The group turned to find Poppy standing nearby, looking nervous with how she was hugging herself and avoided direct eye contact. No one knew what to say to her. Branch was only able to breath her name softly. They didn't have to make the first move because poppy did it for them.
"I... uh... wanted to apologize, for everything. I have no excuse, but I am prepared to do whatever I can to make it up to all of you. No matter how long it takes."
Trollex watched her speak with a frown. It would definitely take time to forgive her after everything. He could tell that feeling was shared with Trollzart with how sternly he was watching Poppy. Branch, however moved closer to Poppy and gently pulled her into a hug. At first Poppy didn't seem to know what to do but after a moment she returned the hug. Trollex couldn't help but smile. Perhaps things would heal up fully this time.
(One year later)
Trollex had never seen Branch so excited in his life. He was barley able to hover fast enough to keep up with Branch as he used his hair to swing through the trees towards the river. Apparently walking wasn't fast enough for him. Trollex had arrived in Pop village that morning to be there for Branch since today was the day Poppy would be returning from the hybrid village.

Branch finally came back down to earth when they reached the river, the water rushing past them while the sun shone down over the surface causing it to sparkle. Branch leaned out as far as he could without slipping and scanned up the river for any signs of a boat approaching. Yet after a few minutes of waiting nothing appeared. Branch slumped and turned to Trollex. "What if she decided not to come back?" He asked, looking defeated at the idea.
Trollex was about to answer when something caught his eye. "I don't think you have to worry," he said while pointing up the river where a small wooden boat was headed their way.
Branch perked up immediately and went straight back to leaning over the water while waving at the approaching boat. Once the boat was closing in, Trollex dove into the water and helped guide the boat to the shore while Branch pulled with his hair tangled around the mast. The boat hit the sanded shore with a thump and Trollex hovered back out of the water just as the ramp was released and Poppy descended it to meet them. She didn't even have a chance to saw anything before she was trapped in a hug by Branch. "I'm glad you're home."
She returned the hug ten-fold, "me too."
Branch finally released her after what seemed like hours and Poppy turned to face Trollex. Trollex hovered lower to be on the same level.
"Trollex..." She began but Trollex raised a hand to stop her. "All I forgiven."
Poppy smiled brightly and pulled him into a hug. Trollex chuckled and hugged back, counting the seconds until he was released. He reached 30 seconds.
Branch budded in, obviously having missed Poppy dearly and wanted to be as close to Poppy as possible, as often as possible. Trollex didn't mind and backed off a step while Branch took Poppy's hand and started leading her towards the village. "Come on, everyone is waiting to greet you. I'm sure you have lots of stories to tell from the hybrid village."
Trollex hovered after them, dripping a bit of water onto the grass which caused it to sparkle in the sunlight. He moved to the other side of Poppy as she was practically dragged along by Branch. "Can we expect those stories to appear in a new scrapbook?" He asked.
"No need," she answered, "I intend to show them all. Trust me, this is the start of true harmony."

Thank you for all the support throughout writing this story. I know that my views went down after the original movie plot was passed so thank you to those who stuck with it to the end.
I'd hate to say goodbye so if you have any short one shot story requests put them in the comments and who knows!
Perhaps I'll write a few sequels to this story or scenes that you didn't get to see while our main group was adventuring!
Until next time!
