Hope you all are enjoying part two of the story!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A week had passed since the search for Poppy. Back in Techno Reef the crowds were gathering into color groups waiting for the music to start. A few of them glitched through the water in impatient excitement. Trollex however, was hiding behind the stage coral, hesitant to start the show. Trollex peeked around the coral just enough to take in the sight of his trolls eagerly waiting for him to start. Trollex looked beyond them, half expecting to see the rock ships approaching and ready to attack his home again. A shutter passed through him.
BDB noticed his friend hiding and pried himself from his button slot, swimming over to Trollex. "Hey man, you ok?"
Trollex frowns. "The last time we threw a party like this..." He didn't need to finish for BDB to understand.
"It won't be like last time. Right now the others need to know that everything is ok, they're shaken up too."
Trollex knew he was right, it was his duty as their king to reassure his subjects. He shot BDB a nod and swam over to the console. BDB followed and took his place among the other buttons. The crowd let out a cheer as Trollex welcomed them while sending out the first few beats. The music climbed with each stroke of tune. Trollex smiled seeing everyone move with the beat. The glow of their hearts in perfect sync.
"Get ready for the drop!" Trollex called out before proceeding to tease the trolls, hovering over the button but waiting to press it. Finally Trollex hit BDB, sending out a large wave of sound which escalated the crowd's excitement. Trollex nods to the beat while holding his headphones. He'd completely forgotten about his worries until he heard a cry of alarm from the crowd. Trollex snapped his head up in alarm, causing the music to cut out. His eyes widened as seven large piranha ships came into view.

Trollex felt his breath quicken but he wouldn't allow himself to break when his trolls needed him. Not planning on taking any risk he quickly called out to the crowd. "Everyone to the coral!"
The crowd didn't need to be told twice and scrambled to hide in the coral walls. BDB removed himself from the console and moved to follow Trollex but Trollex stopped him. "Stay here little buddy, I'll deal with this."
"No way man, not after last time."
"Alright, but stay at a distance." Trollex insisted and swam towards the largest ship. His fear had been replaced with anger for Barb to once again invade his home. He halted a safe distance and the mouth zipped open, but this time Barb wasn't alone.
"Poppy?" Trollex was shocked to see her. "What are you doing here? With Barb?"
Poppy remained silent, Barb answered for her. "Little Poppy and I are partners now, little fish. Aaaannndd we're going to have to borrow you from your fishy friends for awhile."
Trollex looked at Poppy trying to read her face but she looked away. One of the ships had snuck behind Trollex and shot a net which enclosed around him Trollex gasps as he was yanked back.
"No! Trollex!" BDB swam towards him but suddenly a giant net sprung up and blocked him. Trollex watched speechless as the net expanded until it completely surrounded Techno Reef. BDB tried to sneak through the gaps in the net but was shot back when he touched it. Luckily he didn't seem to be hurt.
Trollex tugged at the net trying to free himself but he was already being pulled away from his home once again.

I'm not evil, trust
Lonnie Winters was one of the lucky ones to become evolvers. Becoming a type of warrior that has a spirit beast, he lives his life on the edge of a scale. Trying to balance between living a normal life and making a statement that puts him as the face of evolvers. (This is an apocalypse story and those used to reading my unfinished stories. Then this is similarly a slow roasted story. This is also just second draft. Sorry for the mistakes, I started this when I was in the hospital for my knee and hip surgery.)

Demonizing Matters
A high fantasy drama about a young woman who finds out a demon secret. This secret sparks a growing conflict between demons and humans. While trying to save her own life and dealing with the unexpected consequences of her actions, she falls in love with a hated demon. We follow the drama of Lita, alongside a cast of several other POV characters, as she discovers secrets (both open and purposefully hidden), makes well intentioned but sometimes disastrous decisions, and encounters prejudices and truths. Demons may be evil… or not. Humans may be good… or not. God is aloof… or not. Publishing every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. This is my first real work! Super excited to be publishing! I don’t spend a lot of time describing gore, sex, trauma or any other type of scene that would be labeled as mature. I've labeled the story as mature in every way more because I don't quite understand the standard and don't know if I've crossed the line at all (and I'd rather be safe than get my story rejected for under labeling ;)). Mostly I hint, start the scene then interrupt/fade out, and in general let the reader know it happens but without making it too explicit. (I’d love to hear how I did on this! And if it was still entertaining/informative without being traumatizing.) This is what I prefer to read myself so that’s what I write. I’m not apologizing. ;) If I mislabeled my mature content it was by accident. And, yes, the pacing was also on purpose. Beyond that, I welcome any feedback you want to give! Enjoy the story!
