《Low Tide \ JJ Maybank》Ch 9

I look out the window as people get out of the car.
"Guys, guys, is that them?" Kie panics.
"No." Pope says.
"Is that them?" She repeats.
"This is suboptimal." Pope mumbles.
"English, Pope." I tell him.
"Not good, Kat."
"Oh."
JJ walks away from us, high stress. "John B, I told you. Why does it always-"
"JJ! Look at me!" John B pushes him against the door, cutting him off. "Where's the gun?"
"John B, let go of him." I say pulling him away. "Sorry, J." I apologize for my brother. "Where'd you put the gun?"
"Gun? I, uh, I can't-" JJ stutters.
"Now you don't have the gun, the one time we need the gun?" Kie asks frustrated.
"It was in my backpack, and then I-"
"J, it's on the porch."
"On the porch." JJ repeats running out the door.
A loud, booming voice rings out from the front porch. "John Routledge! Katarina!" I freeze, scared.
"JJ, come back!" I cry out.
"Guys!" Kiara whimpers.
"Come out, now! Fuck-"
JJ comes sprinting back into the room, closing the door behind him. I step toward him, making sure he's okay.
"They're on the front porch, guys." JJ informs us.
"Get out here!"
"Routledge!"
"Guys, we gotta leave." Kie says.
"Guys, window, window." Pope says running to the window.
We follow behind him. Loud sounds of glass shattering from the front room echo into the office. Pope and JJ try to open the window but it won't budge.
"What's- what's happening? Why is it taking so long?" Kie presses.
"It's painted shut, okay?" JJ responds back.
"I'll check the kitchen!" I hear one of the guys yell.

Kiara starts to go through all the drawers around my dads office. She throws papers and drawers into the floor, looking for something. She stands up with a letter opener.
"Okay, guys, here. I got it." She moves towards the window. She shoves the letter opener through the paint.
Loud yells and bangs still sound from the other room, the room almost shaking. Pope and John B block the door to the office, holding it close.
"Hurry." JJ rushes Kie.
"I'm going as fast as I can." She says frantically.
Suddenly loud bangs hit the door, yelling continues. I watch as John B and Pope jump as the men hit the door. The door busts open, wood splintering as Pope and John B moves.
I could feel myself starting to have a panic attack. My hands were starting to shake and sweat.
Kie and JJ finally get the window open as a gunshot rings out. JJ climbs out the window to help us girls out. He grabs my waist as I climb out the window, setting me on the ground. He then helps Kie out before the rest of the boys climb out.
I hear the door bust open as we run to the chicken coop. We all climb in, concealing ourselves from the guys. Our rooster crows loudly at the sight of us.
"Do something, Pope. Shut him up!" JJ tells Pope.
"What do you want me to do?" Pope asks confused.
"Pet it, or talk to it. I don't know." Kie says crying.
I was still panicking. My heart was now pounding in my chest. I had chills but was also over heating from the anxiety.
The chicken clucks again, loudly. I let out a gasp and I jump. JJ places his hand over mine in attempt to calm me down.

One of the chickens starts to freak out. It clucks loudly, drawing attention to our hiding place. JJ grabs the chicken and dislocates it's neck, killing it.
I gasp at the sound of its neck snapping. Tears burn in my eyes. It sounded ridiculous but we had owned these chickens since we were kids.
JJ sits back next to me, pulling me against him. "I'm sorry." He whispers in my ear. I grab his hand but he moves his arm around me, pulling me close. I bury my head in his chest, something I did often because of my anxiety.
"Ratter! What the hell are you doing? Let's go!" We watch as they get back in the car and pull out of our driveway.
As soon as they're gone we crawl out of the coop. I release a shaky breath, finally calming down. John B helps me up before pulling me into a hug.
"You okay?" He asks me. I nod, wiping the tears that had trailed down my cheeks. "We gotta get those attacks under control, Kat."
"I know." I tell him.

Just a Rock
There was once a writer that felt like creating a story about a rock. A rock so amazing that its story just needed to be told. How amazing? Not amazing at all, on the contrary, quite ordinary. Don't believe me? Then read on. Edit: Resumed the story. Can’t do any more audio versions for now. I plan on editing some of the now non-applicable author notes and maybe rearranging the two side stories or combining them with the deleted chapters.

Kalui
- Human beings are divided into four types, namely: Elementals, Fortifiers, Metamorphic and those who do not have powers are pejoratively called Void. In this fantastic world devoid of magic and spirits, Kalui finds himself alone, without memory and about to die, when he meets Roldi, a strong and kind man, who makes his first family. The threat of the big monstrous animals is nothing compared to the danger involved with the boy's unknown past, which forces them to flee looking for answers. No place is safe in a world where virtually everyone has some kind of power. ------------------------------------------------ OBS:For Speech: -For Thoughts: " "For Observations: - New chapters every 15 days

Reborn in Isekai with Sharingan
I prefer the florid and uncanny Jutsu to plots of Naruto, especially Dōjutsu like Sharingan, which could be said, crazy! As the title said, this is a story about the protagonist reborn in Isekai with the ability of Sharingan. Actually, I have no idea where the storyline development would like to go in advance. Still, I’m sure it’ll be interesting. In addition, this story is original if according to the regulation of fanfiction, or you can say it’s half-original fiction. It’s no characters or background from Naruto but the abilities. Anyway, enjoy!
