《Sarafina De Luca》Chapter 34

"Jason" I whispered and he turned his head to look at me "Are you okay?" I asked, quietly and he nodded his head, I looked around "We need to get out of here" I told him and he hummed in response "Jason!" I whispered sharply when I saw his eyes slightly dropping close and they immediately opened.
"You don't look fine," I said, worriedly
"I'm fine" He sighed as he tried to sit up but hissed in pain "Don't move much" I told him
"No, we need to get out." He says, he stood up and I quickly rushed to his side "Can you walk?" He nodded his head as he put his arm over my shoulder and his other hand clutched the wound on his stomach.
I removed a pin from my hair and tried to unlock the door with my shaking hand but it didn't work, I threw that pin away in frustration and removed another one "Hey, you can do it" He whispered as he noticed my shaking hand,
I took deep breaths and carefully put the pin inside the lock and in minutes I heard the click "I did it!" I told him as I quietly pulled open the door, I looked around to see if there was anyone there and found no one.
"Come on," I said and we walked out and through a familiar corridor. We heard some voices from down the corridor "Shit" I cursed and I looked around and without thinking we walked to a nearby room but it was locked "Hurry up!" I heard Jason whisper
Why is it locked? The voices got louder and I saw no other room and I quickly removed the pin and put it inside the lock. Loud footsteps were heard "Dammit Sarafina, hurry up"
The moment the clicking sound reached my ear, we rushed inside and closed the door, trying our best to close it quietly.
We sighed in relief when we heard the footsteps pass the room and by now it was heard from a distance. We heard a groan coming from the room and we looked around in panic until my eyes landed on a figure that was on the floor "Let's go!" Jason said with panic and I looked at the figure "Sarafina, what are you doing?!" Jason whispered, I ignored it and made my way to the figure,
He looked like he was in pain.
A quiet gasp left my mouth when I saw his face and I kneeled down to examine it even closer, he had cuts and bruises all around his face.
Suddenly, his eyes opened and I froze. His eyes were stunning, they were a beautiful shade of blue but his eyes looked empty and lifeless.

Who is he?
"Sarafina!"
Where did he come from?
"Sarafina!"
My eyes slowly opened and an annoying ringing sound reached my ears.
What the hell?
I tried to move but I couldn't and my eyes looked around. Where am I? My eyes found familiar blue ones and I sat up in shock "Xavier?"
"Sarafina."
I looked down and I was tied to a chair with ropes "What the hell?" I said as I tried to remove the rope "It's not going to work" His voice echoed through this dark empty room "Where are we?" I asked "and what happened?"
Suddenly, I heard the metal door open and I winced at the annoying sound it made, my eyes looked up and froze,
"Brianna," I whispered in shock and a slow smirk formed on her lips "Sarafina!" She says, smiling as she walks up to me "What a surprise?!" She says, her smile dropped and she put a glare on her face and I narrowed my eyes,
"I'm going to kill you." I said, glaring at her fiercely. She laughed but this wasn't the laugh I would always hear, this one was different,
"You know, I trusted you" Her laugh stopped but that smirk was still plastered on her face, she opened her mouth to speak but was cut off by the sound of the metal door opening and I didn't bother looking up.
Footsteps made it closer to me "Sarafina? Hey!" I heard Joshua's voice speak and I clenched my jaw and looked up "You bastards!" I yelled as I pulled onto the ropes, I saw Brianna make her way to Joshua as she put her arms around his neck as Joshua whispered something and she nodded.
My eyes met Xavier's and he had a scowl on his face but his face softened a little when his eyes met mine,
Joshua walked up to Xavier and my eyes widened. Joshua bent down to his level and I saw Xavier smirk and say something to Joshua, my fist clenched when I saw Joshua give a punch to Xavier.
Who are these people?
Brianna leaned against the wall with that smirk still on her face "Repeat that would you!?" Joshua said as he glared at him "I said, he will come and kill all of you, it's just a matter of time." Xavier repeats, much louder this time.
Who will come? What are they talking about?
Joshua looked at Brianna for a moment and then motioned her to come and without a word they left, "Xavier" I called him and I heard him sigh "Xavier!" I called him again and he looked up,
"What were you talking about?" I asked,

"Sarafina, do you trust me?" He asked, tilting his head "Xavi-"
"Do you trust me?" He repeated, cutting me off I looked at him for a moment,
Do I trust him?
"Yes! I do trust you, Xavier" I said and I saw him smiling softly as he looked at me with an emotion I couldn't decipher "Then trust me when I say that everything is going to be okay" He says and I took an intake of breath as I gave him a small smile.
"How long was I out?" I asked him,
"About 4 to 5 hours" He answered
4 to 5 hours? That is a lot of time.
"Xavier" I said, after a moment and he hummed in response, "Who will come?" I asked and he stayed quiet as he looked in deep thoughts,
"You don't need to worry about that" He replied and I glared at me "I won't ask again, who will come?" I repeated
"Someone who will get you out of here, safe and sound" He answered and I gave up, I'm just wasting time,
Suddenly, voices were heard from outside the door and they were getting louder each second and I looked at the door "What do you mean?!" I heard a voice, it came from whoever was behind that door and after a while the door was pulled open and I looked at the person in surprise,
Xavier's jaw was clenched and his eyes turned dark when it landed on the figure that just entered,
"Xavier, It's been long don't you think" His voice was cold and was dripping with venom, Xavier stayed silent,
He turned to look at me and there a smirk was plastered in his face "Oh, If it isn't that little girl?" He said as he walked towards me "Don't you dare go near her or I will kill you" Xavier threatened and Régulo stopped and turned around to face Xavier "That's no way to treat your father" He said, calmly
"You're not my father" He spat and Régulo ignored his son "Well, I just came here for one thing and that one thing," He turned around and pointed a finger at me "Is her." Xavier eyes snapped to my direction and for the first time I saw fear in them,
I glared at Régulo as he started making his way here, Xavier tried getting out of the ropes "You bastard! Don't you dare go near her!" He yelled and my breath stopped when Régulo stopped in front of me and I gave him my coldest glare,
He stroked my cheeks and I tried to move away "Well, aren't you gorgeous?" He said. His hand trailed down to my neck "Get your filthy hands off me, you fucker" I sneered and I saw a flash of anger cross his eyes,
He sighed as he removed his hand and put it inside his pocket "Get her out of these" He said to the guards that I didn't notice till now, they walked up to me and I watched them untie the ropes "I swear to god, Régulo if you lay a hand on her I promise I will give you a painful death," Xavier said, his eyes were on me and I bit my lip.
I gave him a reassuring smile trying to tell him that I'll be okay and I can take care of myself and he looked at me, defeatedly.
The guards grabbed me by my arms and they pulled me up, harshly "Geez, why so harsh?" I muttered and they ignored me as we made our way out the room, I saw Régulo walking ahead of us and the guards pushed me in front, I rolled my eyes when I started walking between Régulo and the guards behind,
I examined my surroundings and I looked at the guards over my shoulder, they had guns hanging from their shoulder and I saw a taser in their waistband,
Why the hell do they have a taser?
Suddenly, I bumped into a hard chest and I looked up and found Régulo looking down at me "Don't you dare try anything funny," He said, glaring at me as he turned around and started walking again "Start moving," I heard a gruff voice from behind and I rolled my eyes and followed him.
We stopped in front of a stylish looking wood door which had a beautiful design on it, Régulo knocked on the door and without a reply, he entered inside. I hesitated before following him and the moment I stepped inside, my eyes found a familiar room with a familiar figure at the far end.
Every cell in my body froze and I paled at the sight of his face as he sat there with a glass of vodka in his hand,
"Long time no see, Sarafina" His voice broke the silence in the room and a shiver ran down my spine when I heard my name come out of his mouth with his cold voice,
This is has gone bad to worse.

Hello, hope you enjoyed this chapter and comment on your thoughts and vote if you liked it, I might post two chapters today.
In the last chapter I mentioned about a book I am writing which is called 'His Blossom' and I just wanted to tell you that the book is nothing related to this one. It is a completely different story with different characters and a different plot.
Stay safe and have a nice day!<3

Sins of the Fathers (A Dungeon Story)
Extract from the histories of Hogenbach, written by the grand historian and self-proclaimed drunkard Gregor Meinzt. "Ah Hogenbach, a crumbling shithole of a kingdom situated in the arse end of nowhere. A land of rolling hills, cold winters and home to a population of short and bitter people. A terrible land. Yet it is here that the greatest calamity of the modern realm took place. It was here that the writhing dungeon was born. Some call Viktor Grieswald a hero, others curse the name. And yet fewer still know him for what he truly was. His was a sad existence, made to shoulder the burdens of an entire realm. He helped, he harmed and he left a trail of destruction in his wake, he will always be my friend. But know this, whatever your opinion on the man, nay the monster is, one thing is true. The world will never be the same after his presence, we made sure of that." AN: Alright, this is a dark fantasy dungeon story without the use of reincarnated characters or a system. Yes, I tagged it litRPG as it uses game elements, no these do not include a status screen. Read onwards if you dare.
