Mr. Knight got up from the chair, leaving behind the information I will need to locate him, he then squeezed my shoulder affectionately and leaves.
Confuse I simply stare after him. While his face, and attitude towards come off as cold. His eyes and touch was gentle.
*******
I look up that the huge building that Mr. Knight works at. It's a skyscraper, made completely out of glass.
I take a deep calming breath and enter the building
I gasp at the site in front of me. Lord, this building is unbelievable. With rich gold color with white helping it pop to life. A chandelier hanging in the center of the entrance of the building. This place is just beautiful and so elegant.
"Goodmorning, how may I help you?" The receptionist asks as I near the front desk. She's blond with blue eyes, a shirt that matches making her eyes pop. She doesn't look like she belongs behind a desk. She belongs in the cover of a magazine.
"I'm here to see Mr.Knight, I have a meeting with him," I inform her.
She lets out a laugh. Gosh, she even as a nice laugh.
"Sweetheart, I'm sure you have one." She says in a sarcastic tone, continuing to type on her keyboard completely ignoring me.
"No I'm being serious I need to see him." I insist. I'm on my tippy-toes, leaning on to the desk. I look at her name tag. Emily.
"Look, my name is Lisa Grey. If you could just check." I ask.
"Look, I highly doubt it, so I suggest you remove yourself or I will call security. " She threatens me.
"No, I really need to see him." I lean in more on the desk.
As to which she ignores and picks up the phone, giving me a look of disgust. "Security, I need for you to remove someone. " For someone who is so pretty, her attitude is ugly.
Damn it.
No, no. "I really need to see him." I insist again.
I feel the presence of someone behind me. I turn and come to face two tall buff guys, who I think if they were to push me, I would probably fly to the next building. I slowly back away but try to reason with them.

"Look I am looking for Mr. Knight, please tell him I'm here."
Choosing to ignore me they take a hold of my arms and start to drag me toward the entrance of the building.
"Please, he knows I'm here, call him I have a meeting. PLEASE! "
I'm creating a scene, but I don't care. The people are starting to stop and stare, whispering among themselves. I came for our deal is he doesn't show up it's his problem now I have other things to do.
"What is going on here?" The familiar voice sounds from behind us. I sigh in relief. I turn to see Mr. Knight walking in my direction. Thank goodness.
"Sir, we were just taking her out." One of the security guards speaks ups.
"Leave her, I specifically ask you this morning to watch out for this young lady. " The guards look skeptical at me. I feel offended.
They release my arms, I walk toward Mr. Knight.
"Let's go to my office. " Mr. Knight says.
I follow him to his office. Although I can still feel the gaze of the security guards and receptionist on me as I walk with Mr. Knight.
We get in an elevator. Even, the elevator even is gorgeous.
"I'm sorry if I cause you trouble." I try to fill the silence.
"Actually, I should be the one apologizing. I didn't mean for you to get offended." Mr. Knight apologize. Huh, I was offended.
Thank you for noticing.
We get off and enter his office.
Wow.
His office is breathtaking. He has the whole view of downtown. Dallas has one of the most beautiful skylines. Even though in my opinion it is better at night. Glass make up most of the walls in Mr. Knight’s. I clear my throat and turn to face Mr. Knight.
"Have a seat." I walk to his desk and sit in the leather chairs before him.
"Well, this is how it's going to work you will need to be at this address by 6:45." He slides a piece of paper in my direction. I look at him confuse but before I can ask he continues. "It's the house where you will work at. My son's home." He slides another paper. I take a hold of it and look it over.

"What is this?" I ask.
"It's a contract. It's stated that you work for me. Therefore my son can't fire you. I know he will. He, how can I put this, is difficult to work with. He is a person that what he says goes no argument and he's always right."
"So you're telling me your hiring without his consent, right?"
"I'm going to be honest with you. My son is sometimes difficult to deal with, but from what I know of you and a talk I had with your mother you seem to be just what my son need in his life. Like a friend. Who I pay. " He shrugs his shoulders.
My mom talked to him? She did not inform me of this. We'll talk later.
I also try not to laugh at the situation. A dad is paying me to be like an almost friend to his son, who could be god know how old.
"So you want me to me friends with your son?" I really don't understand this man.
"Not when you put it that way."
He gets up from behind his desk and sits beside me.
"Look I'm just worried about my son. I think he needs to live in the real world, where money and women aren't everything. That he needs to have a family of his own. I think you will be great at that, I don't expect for you to reveal your whole life story but I really would just like help. Please."
I sigh debating whether or not to accept. He seems sincere. I accept. "Alright."
He smiles at me and I think he almost wants to hug me so I quickly stand up. "Here is the address and we already have a driver waiting for you. So Miss. Grey, I hope we get in contact soon."
"So I just go to his house and start cleaning?"
"Yes." Nodding I get up and leave.
*******
I seriously don't belong here. I look up at the two story house I will be cleaning. How in the world am I supposed to get here and home, the neighborhoods are so far apart.
I walk up to the house, taking out a key Mr. Knight gave me and enter the luxurious home.
Well, where to start. I think.
I look at the beautiful 2 story home with dark colors all over the house. I walk further reaching the kitchen. Wow. This is the size of my whole apartment. I decide to take the grand tour later.
I take out the paper of the task I need to complete. It is all basic cleaning that may take a while because the size of this house is enormous. But before I need some music to help me. Smiling to myself. I found the radio. I turn until I find the station I want. I then turn the volume to Brad Paisley song We Dance. I walk back to the kitchen and begin.
"And we dance out here on that empty hardwood floor. The chairs up and lights turned way down low. The music played and we held each other close and we dance. " Sing the song on the top of my lungs while I clean the house. I always play music when I clean. I feel like I'm free and I just lose myself in it.
"What the hell are you doing in my house!" A voice startled me. Making me scream and dropping the mop I was using to mop and sing with.
I turn at the voice of the angry person and come to face a very angry but beautiful face. In his hand is a briefcase as to which he holds tightly I notice his knuckles are turning white. He stands tall as if ready for a fight. A fight I will definitely not cause. He looks really stress but beneath all that he was gorgeous. He has silver-grey eyes surrounded by curly eyelashes girls would die for, his light brown hair almost blond is flying in different directions as if he runs his fingers through it many, many times.
"Asked you a question. " The man says, still as stiff.
I feel heat coming up my cheeks. I was staring at Knight Jr.
"I work for you." Was all I said.
