I made my way to the Italian restaurant to meet Ruth. There were loads of paparazzi outside waiting for me, but I just continued walking. I knew I had to get use to it sooner rather than later. But I still hadn't confirmed it. As I walked through the doors of the Italian restaurant, a lovely man came and greeted me. "Ah there is my favourite Osterfield! How are you?" He said giving me a hug. "You know, the usual" I said hugging him back. "I need to ask you a question?" He seriously said. "If you're going to ask me if the rumours are true, then yes they are" I said looking at him. "Yay!" He knelt down to my stomach. "Uncle Gino will give you as many free meals as you want!" He said laughing. "This child isn't even born yet and it is already being spoilt!" I rolled my eyes laughing. "Anyway, has someone called Ruth turned up? I'm meeting her at 12" I asked Gino. "Ah yes. The one dressed as a nurse? Follow me" I started laughing more. "Yes Gino" I said as I followed him still laughing. As we approached a table, I saw a women with long, brown hair, looking over loads of folders. "Miss, may I introduce you to my favourite person and soon to be perfect Mum, y/n" Gino said pulling my chair out for me. "Thank you Gino" I said sitting down turning bright red. "Thank you sir" Ruth said as she laughs a bit. "I'll go and get your drinks" he said and turns around towards the bar. "Hi" I said nervously. "Hello. Well it's nice to meet you!" Ruth said bubbly rearranging some of her papers which were now coming out of the folders. I started fidgeting. I always seemed to fidget when I was worried or really nervous. I don't why I was nervous today. All I was doing was meeting a midwife. "No need to be worried dear. I'm here to support you" Ruth said looking up at me. "Sorry" I muttered. "Any let's get started!" She said a little too enthusiastically.

Gino had come over with our drinks and Charlotte had tried ringing. I had to tell her I would ring back later. She understood. We had talked about different birthing plans and if I wanted any pain relief. We had also ordered food. Gino didn't need to ask me as he already knew what I wanted. "But if I agree to this now, can I change my mind later on?" I asked curiously. I didn't want to commit to anything yet. I just wanted the birth to be natural. "You can yes. This is just to give you a rough idea on what you can do" Ruth said looking at me. "It's just...I don't know what I want now. I think it's a little early to be thinking about all this". I thought I sounded ridiculous but it's what I wanted. "I know it is dear. Trust me, I felt the same as you with my first. But we are only telling you so you know what options you have" shes said. I started feeling calmer. "I just don't want to make any decisions that I would regret later" I said sadly. Ruth reached out and touched my hand. "I'm not going to make you do anything you don't want to. If you don't want to make a decision today, you don't have to my dear. You could make a decision later on or not at all, but I will be there every step of the way" she said sympathetically. "Thank you" I said trying to hold back the tears. "I don't want to make a decision just yet" I finished. "That's fine" she said smiling widely. 'Bing' "I'm so sorry" Ruth said looking at her phone. "My oldest has just had a baby and she keeps asking if she's okay. I mean she should know, she had 5 younger siblings" She said laughing. "Awh! What's your granddaughters name?" I asked. "Eloise" she answered. She passed me her phone and on there was a picture of a gorgeous baby girl. "She's adorable!" I said smiling. "She's 3 weeks old" she said. "Such a good baby as well!" I passed back her phone. "I'm even more excited now!" I said with a huge smile on my face. Our food came and we chatted about anything and everything. When we finished, we split the bill, said our goodbyes and went our separate ways. She left me her number so if i needed anything, I could ring her.

When I got home, I found Harrison and Tom asleep. They had been watching Lord of the Rings by the looks of it. I would of fallen asleep too if I had to watch that. I left them to sleep and went to my room. Tessa was curled up on my bed. "Hey Tess" I said as I laid down next to her. She got up and placed her head on my stomach and fell back to sleep. I watched her for ages. I couldn't wait for the baby to arrive now.
