Some say that a heart that's been broken was a heart that's been loved.

But they're wrong.

A heart that's been broken was placed in unloving hands and treated accordingly. A loved heart is unscathed because the loving hands guarded and protected it at the hands expense.

Is it possible the heart was once placed in loving hands which chose not to hold it anymore? Then breaking the heart as if it were an egg?

No. They simply were misinformed as to what type of hands that they were.

Some time in shielding a heart the hands grasp too tight and stops being a shield and starts being a prison. Where you can't escape because it's the only thing keeping the heart safe.

Heartbreak is a language that's hard to understand.

It's a language that's deep with no explanation.

The results of heart break comes in many different ways.. friends, exes, acquaintances..

But us.. we're human.

And humans are stupid, stubborn, and chaotic. But once you get past that you see they're glorious, creative, and beautiful creatures that break all too easily.

But I never meant to break your heart, only return it.
