《How To: Survive Teenagehood》25/ I'll Only Watch One Episode....

How many of us have spent whole days doing nothing because we've got sucked into watching stupid videos? Not even interesting things like TV series, but random videos on YouTube? I find that in summer, when I've not got school, I spend my time doing literally nothing, and each day blends into each other with nothing distinguishing the days as they roll by.
Sure, giving ourselves time to relax after a stressful school year is essential, but you can't waste your summer away! If you do waste your summer doing nothing then you'll look back and be utterly disappointed. Having a few aims for the summer and knowing what you want to achieve gives you some structure and means that you come out of the summer feeling accomplished.
You could aim to do something small like working out everyday, or maybe start learning a language. You could even aim to just read a book a week. I'm one of those people who love to be busy, so my summer is going to be jam packed with projects that interest me. The difference between doing projects in your own time and doing them for school is that you actually want to do them. You'll be researching things that genuinely interest you while enriching your knowledge.
Some of my aims for this summer are trivial and silly, like watching two films a week, but that's how I like to spend my time. Maybe you'd like to finally pick up that skill you've always wanted to do, or just hang out with friends more often.
Don't waste your summer away, because when school comes round again you'll be glad that you enjoyed your time to the fullest.
So rule twenty five of surviving Teenagehood: summers were not made to stay inside looking at memes, summers were made so that you could make the memes (#inspirational).

Wandering Web
Mia isn't certain of a great many things. She's not certain of where she woke up. She's not certain why she's suddenly got so many legs when she KNOWS she didn't have them before. Even if they feel quite familiar... She's not certain of who it was that's been talking in her head. She IS certain that she's not who, or where she used to be, and she's certain that she's not just going to sit around and die, as freaky as this all is. Something major has changed, she needs to find something, and she needs to explore this world to do so if she ever wants to be at any peace. Hopefully, she'll make more friends than enemies in the process.

The Ginsu Mage
Currently in queue: Episode 13 in progress. Set in the Aurora: Apocalypse universe.Updated every Friday. If it's not updating, I'm working on my other fictions. If nothing's updating, I ran out of whiskey. Be patient. The Gunsu Mage is a hot mess of garbage that should not be taken seriously by anyone. It’s a vaguely-GameLit spoof of Isekai wa Smartphone to Tomoni (In Another World With My Smartphone) where the MC ends up in another world and fused with his kitchen applicances, mashed up with fantasy western elements. Dungeons & Dragons meets the Wild West in an alternate high-fantasy timeline. Guns & Goblins. Cowboys & Wizards. Locomotives & Dwarves. Don’t expect great writing, accurate numbers, or common sense. Hell, don’t expect anything — just relax and let it happen.

In the End the Truth Remains
We all have our own philosophies that we subscribe to. We either create them ourselves, or we stumble across ones that resonate with us. Some may be evil, some may be good, some may be neutral, some may be incoherent, and some may be inconsistent. With this in mind, to what extent will we defend our beliefs? At the cost of our lives? Or at the cost of others? Beliefs are one of the most powerful and destructive things in the world. It drives us to act, pushes us to continue, and can lead to fulfillment. At first these things were only concepts that gave humanity meaning, but now they have become so much more…
