《Charm [NamjoonxReader]》Chapter 1

For each step I took, I heard the reassuring tinkle of a bell which dangled from my bag.
Let's get this straight, I'm pretty simple.
I smiled softly to myself as I watched autumn leaves fall from trees above me.
I like soft music and soft colours.
I stepped out onto the last footpath, which would eventually lead me to my final destination.
I don't like loud sounds or complicated situations.
Slowly, I turned up my music to try and drown out the sound of kids yelling.
But, lucky for me, I have found that isolation can give me what I want, as well as keeping me away from what I don't want.
"Here we go," I whispered while entering the school grounds.

"Oh!"
I slowly lifted my eyes from the ground to face the person in front of me.
"Oh," I mumbled softly while looking back down to the floor.
Kim Namjoon... Probably the loudest person in my whole school just had to be the person I bumped into today.
"Y/n!" He called with a huge grin on his face.
Honestly, I thought he didn't even know I existed, let alone know my name.
"Yes?" I asked quietly. As I stared at the floor I watched peoples shoes walking past Namjoon and me, who were probably clogging the hall.
"Did you, uh, do any maths homework?" He asked quietly while leaning closer toward me.
"No," I mumbled in response while retracting away from him.
Just because I'm quiet, doesn't mean I do work...
"Why not?" He asked with a disappointed expression.
"I-" a wave of panic fell over me as I tried answering him. "I l-left it at h-home," I stuttered.

"So you did do it, huh?" He asked as his smile returned to his face.
Before I could answer, one of Namjoon's friends wrapped their arm around his shoulder and stared down at me.
Two people? I could barely cope with having to talk to one.
"Hey, I'll have the maths homework by tomorrow," he said to his friend as he greeted him.
Jung Hoseok, better known as Hobi, was one of Namjoon's best friends and was definitely the loudest in the school.
It's time to get out of here.
"I'm s-sorry, I left the oven on," I stated, trying as hard as possible not to stutter. Quickly, I walked past Namjoon and Hobi as fast as possible but found myself unable to move any further down the hall.
Slowly, I turned to look behind me and found Namjoon staring directly into my eyes with his hand wrapped around my wrist.
"I'll meet you here after school," he said in a serious tone.
I glanced at Hobi, who was also staring at me, then back at Namjoon. Breaking out of the shock I was in, I shook his hand off mine and power walked away as fast as possible.
There's no way I'm letting him come to my house. He'll probably just ask someone else about homework and not even meet me there, anyway. It's okay. Everything will be okay.
-=+=-
"Y/n!" My teacher called, just as I was about to leave the room.
Slowly, I turned around to face him.
"How is that group assignment you were doing?" He asked while pushing his glasses further up the bridge of his nose.
"It's going well," I responded quietly, ready to leave again.

"Are you participating in it?" he asked, causing me to stop in the doorway.
I had been placed in a group with the 'cool' people who talk all lesson. We decided that I'd do all the work, and they could just hang out and talk. I didn't really mind.
"Yes," I responded quietly.
"You're not really spending time with your group in lessons-"
"I'm sorry, sir, but I have somewhere to be," I stated while momentary turning around to face him.
He nodded softly with a concerned expression.
"Have a good afternoon," I mumbled before walking out of the classroom door.
"AH!"
I stared up at the person in front of me silently. Namjoon was bent over with his hands on his knees, huffing and puffing.
Am I really that scary?
"I didn't-" huff "expect you to come-" huff "out so soon," he rambled as he tried to catch his breath.
I walked around him in order to begin my daily commute home.
"Wait~" Namjoon called from behind me.
I ignored him and quickened my pace, yet he still continued to call out to me. To drown out the sound, I pulled out my earphones from my bag and placed them into my ears.
I felt my whole body jump at the sensation of something on my shoulder. I flipped around to face the object while simultaneously retracting away from it.
Namjoon stood beside me with his hand in the air and a confused expression on his face.
"W-what do you want?" I finally questioned, annoyed that he was following me home.
"Woah," Namjoon chuckled while scratching the back of his neck. "I didn't know you were so feisty."
I rolled my eyes before turning to face the path ahead of me and continued to walk home.
What's mum going to think when I bring a boy to my house..?
Namjoon was now silently walking beside me. Honestly, I didn't think he could stay this quiet for a small period of time.
-=+=-
I stared down at Namjoon, who was at the bottom of my porch steps while resting my hand on the front door handle.
"L-look," I mumbled. "I don't think y-you want my h-homework, I didn't even-"
"Yeah, yeah," Namjoon shrugged while pushing past me into my house.
"Why a-are you so-"
I stared at my mother silently as she studied Namjoon's complexion.
"Good afternoon, Ma'am," Namjoon greeted with a soft smile. My mother nodded at him before continuing to walk into the living room.
Quickly, I shuffled over to my bedroom, hoping that Namjoon wasn't close behind me so I could do some last minute cleaning.
It's not like my room was messy, I just-
"Oh my god," Namjoon whispered while scanning my bedroom.
Great...
A/n I'm about to go back to school and might be on a little break. In the meantime, here's a NamjoonxReader for you c:

The Oresteia (Modernized)
All three of the great Greek Tragedians have written plays about the bloody chain of murder and revenge within the royal family of Argos. Yet theirs is in fact not a story of tragedy, but rather one of redemption. As they move from darkness to light, from rage to self-governance, from primitive ritual to civilized institution, their spirit of struggle and regeneration becomes an everlasting song of celebration to be heard throughout the ages. Forming a discourse set against the emergence of Athenian democracy out of a period of chaos and destruction, the Orestian plays are compelling stories of the tensions between our obligations to our families and the laws that bind us together as a society. In the beginning, we witness how a king’s decision to sacrifice his daughter and turn the tide of war inflicts lasting damage on his family, culminating in a terrible act of retribution. In the aftermath of regicide, we behold how a son must set out to avenge his father’s death by committing a most egregious sin. In the end, the sinner is tormented by supernatural powers that can never be appeased, but ultimately finds redemption and ends the curse on his house once and for all. Woven through all of this is the story of a friendship so close that it elevates itself to brotherhood - Where the blood of the covenant is shown to be indeed thicker than the water of the womb. In this very brief twelve-chapter modern rendition of the Orestian plays, I have chosen to place my focus mainly on the lives of the characters Orestes and his best friend Pylades. The chapters, each around 2000-2500 words, are split up evenly between them in first-person narrative. I hope that you will come to enjoy reading this heartwarming story, but more importantly, that you see how the conflicts portrayed in the story, whether human or institutional, are still much very relevant to our societies today. Note on Sources: The details of this story is very loosely based on The Oresteia by Aeschylus. And I mean very loosely. Other sources that I referenced for detail and inspiration are Mythology by Edith Hamilton, Electra by Sophocles, and Iphigenia in Tauris by Euripides. You may also find that I have quoted some of these works, and others (such as Shelley's Ozymondaeus), without citations (average of 1-2 such quotes per chapter). I did this because I do not have the ability to describe certain scenes nearly as well as some of those writers. If you read a particularly beautiful piece of prose here, chances are it's probably stolen lol. Also, I wrote this during the summer between my high school senior year and my college freshmen year. It was the summer of 2020, and being quarantined apparently gets my creative side out lol.

To make it as simple as possible, it was an AI who made the biggest breakthrough in the medical field, via that it gained karma points. For a soul to be judged as "worthy" the only thing it has to do is to gain 50000 points. The AI succeed gains approximately to 12 million points (11.526.471). English is not my native language(excuses)) I don't know if this is the so-called Synopsis but it's better than nothing at all.Inspired by The legends of randidly Ghosthound, Everybody Loves Large Chests, Azarinth Healer and 13.Al. PS. Futanari incoming, do not worry not gonna make it sex novel or erotic, maybe some scenes, but that will come later in the novel or maybe not at all, but to be sure I checked the Sexual Content too.
