《Is this some kind of joke, God?》The cursed forest | 11

"How did I get lost in this forest!?!?"
I've never been in a situation where I got lost before, but I am now. My radio doesn't function, too.
"Haha, good one, lucifer."
I need to survey the area and find shelter. Fortunately, I can easily erect a building to provide shelter. I tried to summon a bunker.
".....?"
"It.. doesn't work? Why it doesn't work!"
I tried to summon a bunker, yet again.
"It's.... not working."
"YOU BASTARD!"
"Secure the area."
"Copy that, GeneralMajor."
I decided that after securing the area and searching for some sort of shelter would be the best option we have now, I have send men in pairs to go around scouting, not so long after my man had find a cave, it's not the best, but thanks to it we should stay alive for longer. Moreover as I anticipated, there aren't any points of reference. Additionally, there's something wrong with this forest. I sense an odd pressure, like a tiger stalking its prey. Maybe I'll just hold off and Heintz will plan our "rescue".
"We'll wait, stay alert.", is what I eventually said to my soldiers. Now I just have to wait...
Meanwhile....
Heintz reviewed all available maps of the area around the base, and around the general direction where I got lost.
"Something is not right, it's been 1 hour already and still, GeneralMajor isn't here...", he started to think.
"Heintz, I think we should send rescue now, let me take command of RRU and two Infantry divisions!", Erica asks almost yelling, by that time Maria was nervous about my situation as well.
"No."
"What?!"
"You can't take both Infantry divisions."
"Why! It is to save our damn leader, Heintz!"

"Leaving base unguarded will be poor decision. I'll let you borrow RRU and one infantry division. But please, do not do something that GeneralMajor wouldn't want.", He sighs and appears to be nearly unaffected, but in reality, he may be the base soldier who is most affected by my disappearance.
"Of course, Maria, let's go."
"Okay!", she jumps happily hearing she may help in finding me.
All the forces at the base discovered that I hadn't returned yet. They were horrified about what would happen to their respected and adored leader, and even that is an understatement. Erica started giving a speech.
"I know some of you, or well, all of us are worried for our GeneralMajor, but worry not soldiers! For the Empire is strong, as their leader is. We will track down our General Major, and we will obliterate any obstacles in our path! Heil the Empire!"
"HAIL THE EMPIRE!", all of soldiers shouted. Erica gave short, but quite good speech.
"Now, soldiers! Prepare for rescue mission!", and then she gave out orders to several officers.
Soldiers rushed to their designated positions, a very massive force was standing outside of base, ready in minutes to march thru hell to find me, to kill the devil himself. After a moment, the column started moving under orders of Erica.
"We will burn down this whole fucking forest if we have to.", Erica said in serious voice to Maria, she couldn't get her voice out so she just nodded.
They followed the same route I did, arriving at the House we'd come across in the forest in the earlier part. But now, it appeared to have been abandoned for a while.
Erica questioned one of the officers who was with me at the time, "Are you sure it's here?"

"Y-yes! It all appeared to be brand new, but now it's practically in ruins, so I-I don't really understand! Just what is this?", He replied with a terrified expression.
"Aghh, what a pain.", she turned around and faced Maria.
"Maria."
"Yes!", she almost jumped.
"Take the infantry division, I'll take the RRU, we'll split here and search the area.", She said while intermittently glancing at Maria and the map.
"Okay.", Maria responded after a moment.
"Are you okay?", Erica said noticing it took her a moment to respond.
"Yes, sorry, spaced out a bit..", she said while faking a smile.
"..."
Both set out to find me but were unaware that their efforts would be ineffective. At least until I found that entity. In retrospect, it was a mistake to enter this forest without first investigating it. Why must everything be inconvenient for me!
I appointed four guards to be on duty 24 hours a day, switching shifts every 12 hours. I'm worried about the state of this forest because a few of the trees appear to be rotting. What the hell is happening? Why are the trees rotting, goddammit! No, no, no... don't tell me this is some kind of fucking cursed forest!
"GeneralMajor?", one of the soldiers saw my worried face looking into the ground. I quickly snapped out of it.
"Uh- Yes? Sorry, I doze off there for a bit."
"Two of out man on patrol saw something, and it uhh, was "stalking" them.", he explained.
"Don't tell me they went straight up to our base."
"T-.... uh...."
"FUCK!", I shouted.
"All man to defensive positions, watch out for anything", I loudly said after a moment.
All of my soldiers hid behind large stones and tree trunks. I hope it's not... too strong, whatever it is. After some period, two soldiers started firing into nothing.
"Hold your damn fire! What is it?"
They just kept firing at nothing, they didn't respond to anything. I ordered to detain them for a moment being.
"What the fuck is going on?"
