《Bottomless earth》Chapter 13:

Everyone watched as hundreds of birds filled the air before heading north and dissipating back into the forest floor. Within a couple of seconds shouts erupted in the forest.
“What’s with the snake?” “what’s your job you ran around so fast?”
“What level are you?”
*Ahem~
Adam coughed loudly to get everyone's attention, everyone quickly turned around from me and looked at adam.
“ We don't need to ask him about his skills or job unless he tells you. He’s only the party for a bit.”
Gesturing behind me he then to me.
“Thanks again for the assistance, are you alright to take the claws and teeth as a reward? We need the meat for a mission and Ena wanted the pelt to make new armor…”
“Yep, perfectly fine with me.”
Walking over to the heap of a corpse I slowly fanned out its large paws and ran my fingers over the claws. They were still warm. It felt so realistic, how I was going to collect them? Now that I think about it this is the first monster I've killed…
A sudden thrill ran through my body. Quickly standing up and turning to Adam who was walking over the now silent lump of flesh slowly.
“How do we collect monster material?”
Letting out a small chuckle he pulled a small metal and wooden knife from his inventory it looked almost ornamental… And quickly tossed it on the floor in front of me.
“Unless you wanna carry it back, we'll need to take it apart.” A smile broke across his lips.
“All have someone else dismantle it if you want or..” shrugging his shoulders and taking a step closer he ran his hand across the fur.
“Good condition besides his sides.” looking over at the whole filled sides of the bear he gently motioned for the others to come over.
“Reclaim your equipment while Shin or I start dismantling.” looking over at me I quickly picked up the knife. He giggled for a second before quickly pulling out another knife and moving to the other paw.

For how a game like this you really would expect it to have so much detail, lining the edge of my blade to the inside of its palm I quickly sliced away each of the claws before standing and motioning to the face. Placing my palm on the underside of its chin, I slowly pushed up its jaw. His teeth were very bright to the contrast, small pieces of fabric were jammed in between each tooth. Digging my knife as deep as I could I quickly popped out the teeth with a large crack before stepping back and wiping off the blood from the knife.
Digging the claws and teeth in my hand I quickly threw them in my inventory and helped Adam skin and de-eye the rest. It didn't take very long, maybe about 8 mins before we had the place completely clean… well besides the blood.
Throwing the skin and meat of the bear in his inventory he quickly tossed the bones to the base of a nearby tree. Looking at them for a second I had an idea…
“Adam, you don't want the bones? If not..”
Without a second thought Adam shrugged and nodded before shouting at the others to gathered up, Throwing the bones in my inventory I hurried to catch up with them to head back to town.
x1 Giant Bear skeleton (90% complete)
It never does feel like a long walk going back to the town. We got back really fast but unlike earlier there was a bit less people, well you didn't have to squeeze your way through the crowd.~
Walking down the street we quickly came to the guild building. Stopping at the door I gently grabbed Adam's shoulder.
“Does the guild keep a magic book here?”
Confusion filled his face as he slowly turned his head.
“Magic book?”
“ Um, hold on.” looking in both directions the other had already gone inside And there were only a couple town folk moving around us. I pulled Adam closer and whispered.

“~It's the way I learned such odd spells.”
“Oh well, I don't know if they do…” Turning around he quickly walked inside to find the others.
After thinking for a minute, why didn't I ask when I came here last time? After talking to Ena, Gin and Lucas and getting their reward from the request they quickly logged out. Me and Adam were left sitting at the guild table shooting the shit back and forth.
I really hadn't seen him for a while before I started this game. There were a couple people dotted around the room and the guild reception moving about the sea of tables answering questions and serving beer, food and such. It didn’t take her long to move over to us.
Stepping closer she became a bit clearer. She stood about 6 feet with a white button up and black jeans that followed the black shoes. Her hair had been tired into a neat bun that sat at the top of her head. Her glasses reflected the few candles that laid on the tables.
“How can I help you boys?” Her voice was quite yet clear like it pierced throughout the loud chatter filled room.
“Ah yes, do you have the guild's magic book on hand?”
She was struck back by my question. yet no one in the room flinched… well no one probably heard besides Adam ,Her and I. she quietly thought for a second…
“ What region do you hail from?” Her question wasn't a very hard one, not like it's a secret to the guild but it felt heavy. Like it had some meaning.
“The wasteland.”
She quickly moved to the desk and fittled with a couple papers before her face lit up with glee grabbing a small hand book and a single letter she hurried back over to the table. Putting the small book down on the table she quickly handed me the letter. Lucy was scribbled in almost illegible handwriting.
“Bring this back to Lucy when you get to your home guild and you can have the book for free.”
Her eyes lit up in hope… Well it's not a bad deal.
Sticking out my hand she quickly grabbed it and shook.
“Deal, nice doing business with you.”
Turning around she quickly hurried off to the neighboring tables. Putting the letter in my inventory I quickly pulled the book over to me. There was no title, the cover was only a thin strip of leather. Flipping open the first page of the book it was a full table of contents. With large printed letters…
~ Guild Staff unique and self invented skills list and self recaps.
1.Guild house One: 1 ~ 19
2.Guild house Two: 20 ~ 25
3.Guild house Three 26 ~ 30
Flipping open the first page I rand my hands over the first few words…
~ Guild staff’s magic list: House 1
Miles ~ Sleep…
Dara ~ Shadow armor…
Trea ~ Minor Enhance…
..
.
Are these guild employ names and unique skills… Explains why she was so skeptical about giving it at first…
“Shin? That the right book?”
Adam’s words quickly broke my silence quickly putting the book in my inventory, “yeah perfect all be able to read this later tonight.”
“Awesome, well I have to get back to grinding let me know if you want to party up again you know we will always welcome you in the party.”
“Thanks a bunch Adam, have fun don't forget to shoot me text every now and then.”
“ I think I should be saying that to you mister loner~ haha”
With a quick chuckle both Adam and I parted ways, quickly making my way out of the guild and I headed back to the inn. After paying for food in another room I was only left with two silver coins. Moving backup to my room i quickly called Luna out before petting her quietly.
