Sonata Ryan graduated high school and after graduating school she went to the police academy and on July 29th she graduated.
Sonata was assigned to the Ninth Precinct with her brother and two cousins. Sonata was assigned to a beat patrol.
Darick and Mackenzie Smith had a healthy relationship and he quickly got over that at night that she snores while sleeping.

Mackenzie Ryan wish she had a partner to talk to while she's on patrol as a Highway Patrol officer.
Darick when he turned eighteen he had to sign up for the military and he was placed in the Air force Pararescue.
After a few years. In 1999 Mackenzie Smith and Darick Ryan welcomed a baby daughter to the world on October 26th.
Mackenzie Smith asked Darick if he had any baby names so he picked up their daughter and said "I'm naming you Chloe Sydney Ryan in honor of my mother who I miss everyday. I love you mom. I always have."
Mackenzie Smith had a tear that Darick would've named their first born after the person he missed dearly.
On November of 1999, Darick Ryan applied to be on the Special Weapons And Emergency Service Unit and he was accepted but training didn't begin until August 1st,2000
Darick did the training and after a couple of months he was taken off of patrol and as a member of the Empire Police Department S.W.A.E.S.U.
When Darick got done with his first day of being on S.W.A.E.S.U. He took Mackenzie Smith and their daughter Chloe to the beach on a nice warm day.
Mackenzie wanted to do work and all that and be home but Darick had a surprise for her but it wasn't the surprise she had hoped.

While on the beach Darick in his dark navy blue police service dress. He got down on one knee and said "Mackenzie Smith? Will you marry me?"
Mackenzie Smith replied, "Yes. Yes I will!"
The two got wed on September 15th and all of their family and friends were there. Darick's friend Linda felt out of place because she's the only one in the Empire Fire Department service dress.
Mackenzie Smith-Ryan moved in with Darick into his apartment but she had some news to share to him but she couldn't say it. But she told him that she's pregnant again and their daughter Chloe will have a sibling.
Darick was happy but he never expected to be a father while he's in his twenties.
Nine months passed and Mackenzie Smith-Ryan gave birth to twin girls and she name them "Louise Ryan" and "Mackenzie Smith-Ryan Junior"
The two were happy that they're together and Mackenzie Smith-Ryan is also happy that she's with someone who actually listens and doesn't pretend to listen.
On the first day of spring of 2002. Agent Mackenzie Smith-Ryan gave birth again but this time to a healthy baby boy whom she named "Darick Ryan Junior"
Their lives were happy.
