《Gods among gods》Chapter 14 - The River

Seeing the sword, Mikah broke into a run, stumbling through the crowd and realizing that some were putting their feet up for him to fall. People's eyes shone with hatred and some even tried to grab him with their hands. -“Undocumented”- some shouted – “Die”- others.
He stumbled and he stopped. The crowd prevented him from passing. He circled around looking for a way out and backed up until he felt the edge of the bridge at his back.
"Make way!" the guards yelled, and Mikah could see two Blades approaching above the crowd.
As one of the guards was about to reach him, he jumped.
Splashhh!!
Once more into the water. He had once again fallen, but this time to save his life. The muffled sound still brought him screams of hatred and expletives.
When he surfaced he looked towards the bridge and could see all of his eyes looking at him from the edge of the bridge. Some ran to catch up, but the bridge was too big. They would never get to him. The water was dragging him and at that moment he realized that what was passing under the bridge was not a moat, but a river. He raised his middle finger to the crowd and was carried away by the waters.
Mir's castle looked beautiful and huge. As he floated, he could see that behind him were huge mountains and understood why the moat did not surround the castle.
The speed was increasing and after a while he couldn't see Mir anymore... he started swimming to reach the shore, but he realized that he was going faster and faster.
-"Rapids!"- he said to himself and saw how he approached some. He swam and swam, but he was unable to get out of the water before hitting some rocks and falling down a waterfall.

Mikah woke up at night on a beach breathing heavily. He sat on the sand and watched the sky full of stars and two moons that dimly lit everything.
Trembling but grateful to be alive he looked up and remembered Deom's words “have fun… have an adventure”.
-“This is not fun, Deom!!” he yelled looking up at the two moons. He lay down on the sand and smiled… He thought he heard Deom's teasing giggle in the wind.

The infernal plane… an endless expanse of scorched land inhabited by countless monsters. Many controversies surround these strange creatures; however, one thing is clear. They are evil. Follow Allen, as he fights against all odds to escape a place never meant to be touched by humans. This is my first original story, and I’d greatly appreciate any constructive feedback. 8 69I, Mor-eldal: The Necromancer Thief
As a budding little necromancer, I soon discovered that the world of city people is complicated. When my master kicked me out of the cave, he warned me not to talk about my “dark” magic, because people here don't like the undead. I am not really an undead, I just have a skeleton hand, but it is better to be careful. Anyway, that's not my biggest worry. In the Black Dagger brotherhood, I learn a lot of things, such as illusionist magic, which turns out to be quite handy to survive in this maze of streets: in the Cat Quarter, we have thugs of all kinds that are best avoided. But we also have good people, goodhearted “gwaks”, as we say around here. Little did I know that I would soon be caught up in an infamous traffic that would entangle my life even more. With a mix of lighthearted adventure and picaresque, this story narrates the hectic life of a good-spirited street child and his companions in a medieval urban fantasy setting with some nineteenth-century influences. Updates Mondays and Fridays. This is a Creative Commons By work. It is a translation of a trilogy I wrote in Spanish between 2017 and 2018.
