We were traumatized as little kids, we're barely holding on,

Sometimes it's easy to forget,

But it's hard when I remember,

That my father was no father, from this tree I was dismembered,

It's easy to let out anger,

It's harder to clean the mess,

Sometimes words are not forgotten, they're imprinted in your head,

I know it's easy to run away,

And it's harder to stay and fight,

But nothing worth having will come easy in your life,

It's easy to scream and shout,

It's harder to work it out,

I've been down this road to many times to count...
