...
[The Dark Tower is prompting you to return the regression clock.]
“No.”
Cayden absorb the regression clock and convert it into one of his ability cards.
[The Dark Tower is promptly advising you to return the regression clock to the treasure hall.]
Cayden read the spell that is written at the back of the newly transformed ability card.
"Tick, tock. Tick, tock. Hear me out and see my woes. I wish to return to the day when the Dark Tower emerged."
Cayden set the clock hour back and set the pointer back to the day when everything started.
When he opened his eyes, he was back at the intersection where the Dark Tower rise up from the ground and swallowed the high rise building on the spot.
He twisted his lips and grinned sickly. “I’m back…” then the grin widened and he started laughing.
“I’m really back! Oh, Xyris. My beautiful Xyris. I will see you soon. Wait for me.”

A Broken Kingdom
After fighting a diseased ancient silver dragon, Oskar must solve a mystery that leads him halfway across the world in pursuit of answers. This story is based on a character from a tabletop roleplaying game. I realized that I'd spent quite a lot of time planning out his backstory, and decided to go ahead and write some of it down. Then I wrote more, and more, and realized that I had a lot more than any sane RPG player should write about their character...
