I always have a smile on my face,

But the truth is, I want to stop breathing.
I want to die, but whenever I mention it. I'm the selfish one, right?
I just want someone to come up to me and ask 'are you okay'
And, when I say I'm fine.
I want one person to look me in the eyes, and say "No your not".
I want someone, anyone to realize I am hanging by a thread.
Just waiting to be cut down.

Hazelsong: A LitRPG Novel
Release Schedule: I will be moving to a set release schedule as of 1/1/2022. A new chapter will be released every Saturday at Noon EST. Story Themes: Hazelsong is a LitRPG novel that not only explores the fictional world of a realistic online fantasy realm but the life of a man suffering in silence from chronic pain and PTSD due to a significant physical injury and disability. Mental health is an important subject and we all know at least one person in our lives who has or is dealing with some form of mental illness. I plan on putting my best effort forward to represent these illnesses in a fair and accurate manner. Not as a cheap plot device to help make the protagonist more unique, but to help paint an accurate picture for those of us who have been lucky enough to not have to suffer in silence. About the Author: I am Ash Durra, general video game nerd and a connoisseur of fantasy and sci-fi of all shapes and sizes. Needless to say, I am not a professional author (B.S. and M.S. in Education, 8 years teaching). After really getting into LitRPG novels over the past several years, I found my way to Royal Road, which has inspired me to use my spare time to begin writing a story of my own creation. As this is a hobby, I am not writing and posting chapters on any kind of specific schedule at the moment, though my goal is to post on average 1-2 chapters a week. I am incredibly excited to share this story with others as I write it, and I look forward to any constructive feedback about how I can improve in my writing.

The Dungeon's Champion
An overpowered dungeon hunter adventure Matt is a young New Yorker at an all time low in his life, when suddenly a tower appears out of nowhere, right under his apartment. Stuck on top of the tower, Matt had 2 options: wait for help to arrive, or enter Tower and find his own the way out, and Matt wasn't much for waiting. The tower, it turns out, is actually a dungeon full of monsters and chests filled gold, jewels and magical treasures, but the dungeon also possesses its own consciousness. Fortunately for Matt, the dungeon gives him everything he needs to succeed, but Matt can't help but think that the dungeon has not revealed everything, and may have a hidden agenda. Even more troubling is that Matt suspects that the Dungeon may be suffering from a multiple personality disorder. Between protecting a village from crazed dark mages and their soul starved demons, organizing the opening of a dungeon in New York, reforming a crime syndicate on another planet, stopping another dungeon champion from getting him killed, and last but not least, finding a way to thwart some Gods before they stop him; the impromptu dungeon champion has his work cut out for him.

Author: I made som mistakes early in the story that I will have to correct, but it will take some time. I have not abandoned this story, but I will be working on my computer and will not be active on royal road. "The elves start to leave their secure forest of Silvanwood for the first time in over two thousand years. Wizards are murdered in their own homes one by one to the dismay of the Jeidan Order of mages. The ancient ruins in Agnellia seem to have awoken after thousands of years of abandon. The flames of war are brewing, and the continent of Maëgor is about to witness a war like never seen before." Author’s note: This is a serious story, loosely inspired from many great works, which you will maybe be able to identify on your own. It is entirely original though. I’ll be working on this for hours every day, but that doesn’t necessarily means that there’ll be daily chapters. I don't own the rights to the cover image, and will immediatly take it down if the author requires so. Every chapter will be at least 2000 words. And congratulations to anyone who guesses on which language the chapter titles are written in.
