《The Tamer is Repulsive》Level 165: Vaile Regrets Entering Monarkea's Game (Part 1)

After his talk with Monarkea, Vaile had decided to assist the new ruler of the Dragon Domain in her little ‘game’. No, this was not because he held outward malice towards the dumbest, densest motherfucker to ever walk the New World, but more along the lines that he just wanted to see where this would all end up.

OK, there is a caveat to that previous statement. He did hold a distinct malice towards a singular force, and part of the reason he wanted to assist the new ruler of these lands was because of his sneaking feeling that, unless there were eyes on the situation more often than not, there was a decent chance of whatever the source of those glitchy things was getting involved again.

Vyviir had nearly lost his entire mind due to whoever was controlling him through a rock in his forehead, and while the new ‘Hero’ was no real threat as he was now, an outside force could easily turn a moron like him into a living WMD. Hell, he had seen that glitchy kaiju back when he had helped the giant spider try and win control of her new lands (which she had succeeded in, by the way), so there was no god damn way he was going to willingly let one of those things cause havoc here.

And with all that said, was it any wonder why Vaile insisted that Monarkea not simply remake the Domain’s cities (those that belonged to the Races) and their people? While that would almost certainly have made things exponentially more interesting, Vaile made a good point when he pointed out that the Races were far more likely to be controlled and/ or manipulated by the source of the glitchy things.

As a result, while Monarkea did indeed use the vast powers at her disposal to remake the various settlements and bits of infrastructure that once existed, she did not make new people to inhabit them. No, she instead chose to go with Vaile’s solution to the problem regarding the population of these cities and had draconids inhabit them.

This wasn’t to be permanent, of course, merely a stopgap measure to make sure that the current ‘Hero’ would not be able to escape the watchful eyes that needed to be on him nearly 24/7. Plus, it had already been confirmed via reports from those around him that he was too oblivious and idiotic to realize that the only sapient beings he encountered since the sudden purge were not members of the Races, so there was no need to hide that fact from him.

He was, quite literally, too dumb to notice anything wrong with the razed cities, lack of members of the Races, and the omnipresence of monsters. And besides, that absurdly overwhelming obliviousness would only make his antics that much more entertaining, wouldn’t it?

It had been only a few days since he had left that long-since conquered Dwarven hold high up in that mountain, but despite that, Vaile was making surprisingly good time on his trek across the Dragon’s Domain. Of course, that was due to his own busted stats that came with the beyond End-Game level that he had acquired over the course of his many, many antics throughout the New World, and even had that not been the case, his Max-Level stats alone would have been more than enough to allow him to speed along like this.

In fact, he had only ever really stopped as of late to catch some shut-eye and get a bit of food and drink in him, and due to this, he was more than able to make such good headway. Each step took him into the air as he put his stats to good work and made the original incarnation of a certain superhero look like a chump.

Leap tall buildings in a single bound? Vaile could leap over an entire city block’s worth of ‘tall buildings’ and still have enough space for him to avoid landing in the first few tens of meters of another one. Of course, that would be his max height, while he was instead using his legs to propel him more in a forward direction than simply upwards.

And, as he bounded forward, Vaile took a bit of time during each leap to take in the environment around him and beneath him. While the Domain was for the most part a hilly, mountainous mess, the flora and fauna here, along with the sights, were pretty interesting.

Of course, one of the reasons he was bounding around like a man on the moon was because of what called this place home now that all the elves, dwarves, werean, and humans had all been wiped out. He had tried to walk around like a normal person, but when the local wildlife (and some of the fungi and plants, for that matter) kept trying to come at him with the intent to either follow him or, in some cases, mate with him, the only real option someone like Vaile had was to get the fuck out of dodge before any funny business could have the slightest chance of happening.

He was, by no stretch of the imagination, even remotely interested in giving anyone, anywhere, material for some damn nasty smut, and he found the thought of him bedding a literal horde of non-sapient critters and such to be absolutely disgusting. Of course, his libido was practically non-existent anyway, so there was no chance of him even getting a rise from anyone, let alone a mere animal.

And because of all of that, he just kept leaping along, making his way down towards the place where the densest motherfucker in existence was dicking about under the delusion that he was a God-Chosen Hero. He was already running through dozens of scenarios in his mind by the time the town came into view, and as it did he began to remember something that caused him to groan and hope that this would all be over faster than he had initially wanted.

“Fucking hell…” Vaile grumbled. “I forgot that everyone there aside from that guy is a monster…” Vaile shook his head and shivered as he touched down one last time. “I’m gonna get swarmed by lust-crazed fangirls, aren’t I?”
