Skill Crushing shoot < Unique > ForeSight Foresight Unique

He should have stayed close to Igor.

Oscar realized in horror, as the last glimpse of his Foresight turned into reality, everything happening as in a movie, he knew what was going to happen, yet, he couldn't react fast enough.

And now, Igor split in half and blown to the air. His blood, bones, meat, organs, everything, sprayed in the Gym as in a gruesome horror movie.

A sole, barely recognizable, eyeball beneath his feet.

Rapidly he activated his foresight once again. After the image finished he observed in horror at the figure of Henry, the next soon to be victim. The tanned teen with a blank face, foggy eyes, his whole figure shaking in anger.

He turned his sight to the Elf.

The fantasy creature turned into reality, staring at them with an unimpressive face. That creature, in the future, tries to communicate with them, but Henry wouldn't listen, he would rush with a frenzied rage.

It simply ended as an Instant kill.

Cut in half, a great gust of wind blowing his body. His blood, organs, bones, all strewn inside the gym.

Just like Igor.

What to do? He wondered, not literally, but such were the thoughts in his head. He knew of the future, his friend would die, but they would survive if he played his cards properly, and, at some point, he would overthrow that beast. But Oscar didn't want Henry dead, he didn't want the death of his dear friend, didn't want to see him dead. Maybe, just maybe, if they challenged the beast together, they would win.

Foolish thoughts, but in the heat of the moment coherent thoughts were hard to be thought of.

He finally decided to charge into battle. A battle cry for his presence to cover that's of Henry, aiming at the throat of the cloaked man with his two daggers.

Once again, he activated his ability to foresee the future. His mind and body tire more and more, his thoughts getting foggy and his movements getting clumsily, slower, and heavier.

But it was worth as he successfully, though, barely, dodged one of those sharp wind blades.

He smiled in satisfaction as a root sprung from the earth aiming at the body of the Elf, they weren't alone. It was considerably weaker than the previous one's Jacob had summoned, but still, it was a good distractor as the Elf summoned a magical barrier blocking the attack.

From the ravine of the eye, he could see the figure of Victor approaching the Elf from behind.

The task assigned to him could screw off for all that mattered. If they couldn't kill that monster, here, and now, everyone would die sooner rather than later.

'Just a bit more' he thought desperately as his legs burned from the exertion.

Three meters, just three meters to stab that creature in the neck, just three, nothing else, and he would get rid of that dangerous being. Once again, he used his Foresight, the last Foresight he would ever use.

Bracing himself for the impact with both arms.

"Hmph!" it sneered arrogantly "Your presence disgusts me" it declared aiming one of its hand at Oscar "Such a barbaric race" it ended, squinting its nose, a formation fully formed at the front of his extended arm.

Right.

¿When did he got so cocky, as to think he's the protagonist?

Were his last thoughts before being blown off.

Henry Pov

It all started with the death of Nail, his fury getting momentarily uncontrollable as he beat the shit out of Cesar ¿¡How dare that little shit kill his friend!?

Luckily he didn't end up killing Cesar by mistake, Oscar calmed him before doing so.

Soon after that, he realized his mistake, apologizing properly as should be done. It wasn't Cesar's fault, no one could have predicted those circumstances, no one could have been prepared for it.

He scolded himself for his lack of self-control. Promising himself that he would not repeat that same mistake. Yet, he couldn't hold that promise for much longer.

Countless classmates of his getting killed. He got enraged, angry at those stupid bipedal wolves. Tons of his friends killed by some random beast's ¡¿How he's not going to be enraged after that?!

He calmed quickly after the last of those bipedal wolves died under his hands, this time, embracing that fury, as it gave him the strenght to finish those fantasy creatures.

Berserk (Learnt)

< A skill that shows the true nature of those that wield it. Granting great physical capabilities once activated >

It was a weird feeling, he didn't like that, not one bit knowing that apparently his 'true nature' was that of a raging man.

But in the end, he simply embraced it and dealt with it.

A monster appeared, a creature, that frightened Igor, one of the most collected individuals he has ever known. It scared him.

Carlos quick and sudden death made that fear greater than before. Admittedly, he didn't know the brute that much as to feel an uncontrollable fury, more of a feeling of slight anger, regret, and penury.

And fear, let's not forget the fear.

But all that fear turned into anger.

Finally, it was the death of Igor that caused him to snap, a dear friend he has known for years died. In the hands of a fantasy creature, an arrogant cocky creature that appeared out of nowhere, killing Carlos and Igor.

'Interesting...'

A female voice resonated through his mind, but he didn't notice. His mind blank, veins pulsing, muscle getting bigger and deadlier, his eyes, set on the standing Elf.

Oscar was the final straw.

Once again, the voice resonated, this time, much more animated and crazed like.

'HAHAHA! THIS SHALL BE YOUR FIRST TEST! MY MADMAN!'

There's no hope A simple understanding without much mystery behind it. Basically, that monster Mana pool remained at its 40-50% a percentage much greater than his own, even at full reserves. Now let's consider that his clothes had a Mana of their own, apparently. At least, Igor had said so, before getting killed by that monster. Now let's think that that being must have a much greater knowledge when we refer to the Arcana settings, and let's not forget about that teleportation. ¿How many times can he cast it? ¿How much is its expenditure? ¿Its reach? ¿Its capabilities? Etc... What about his attacks? How many does he have? How many triumph cards does he have? Trying to escape would be a futile attempt considering that the Elf must have a wide Mana sense, if he himself, could check a radius of a hundred meters ¿Then how much could a beast like that, be able to sense? One or two miles must be. And even with his upgraded stats, he wouldn't be able to run 2 miles in less than what, ¿2 Minutes? ¿3 Minutes? How long the rest of his comrades would be able to hold that beast? Fighting is a no. Running is a no. Faking death is a no. All there's left is diplomacy. Even though he'd love to kill Henry with his own hands, and that maybe, he could kill his own allies as an offering of servitude, he knew that with a mere 10% of his Mana wouldn't be enough to kill them all. So servitude like a lowly dog would be. Later he'll bite that Monster, but for now, a dog life must be. He sat on the concrete, waiting for the conclusion of all this useless prolonged fighting. The conclusion that Cesar expected never became what he thought it would be. 'HAHAHA! THIS SHALL BE YOUR FIRST TEST! MY MADMAN!' Divine Anger I

< Bestowed to those individuals interesting to Goddess Lisa. The frenzied anger itself >

A red and black aura enveloped the fuming figure of Henry.

Shadows creeping out of his body, eventually forming bipedal figures, Shadow Werewolves. Body completely black, eyes red, sharp fangs, sharp claws.

Each of those forming shadows glaring and growling at the Elf.

The mentioned creature, now looking in fear and disbelief at Henry.

"Th-That's! ¡¿What's that?! It's not Arcana! How can that be! Such disrespect to the old ways!"

Years of belief, as the Arcana, the supreme energy, which reigned over everything and anything, turning into crumbles as that weird energy made its presence know. His fear turned into anger and his disbelief turning into shame

Something like that can't exist, not anymore.
