In a room too dark to even see the outline of anything there was a person siting on a couch with the press of a button a T.V thinner than a piece of paper sprang to life illuminating the sparsely decorated room. Besides the T.V there was a clock on the wall and a couch but nothing else. The T.V flashed and a logo it looked more like a coat of arms where on both the left and right two knights fought two dragons both mirror images of the other a black knight fighting a white dragon and a white knight fighting a black dragon then the letters VRGNN were placed vertically between them the motto for the News network Inform the Uninformed. Then the news anchor appeared a woman in her early 20's with shoulder length golden blond hair an angelic face with crystal blue eye's her hour glass figure was apparent underneath he professional cloths It was no wonder why VRGNN was popular even if they read the phone book everyone would still watch and and siting across from her was an average looking man brown hair, brown eye's, and a face that would go unnoticed by military security if paired with a neon yellow outfit. The only noticeable thing was his laboratory coat he was wearing. instead of being perfectly white and clean it looked used and dirty multipul stains covered the coat. The news anchor began.

"Hello and welcome back to the Virtual Reality Gaming News Network I'm you anchor Samantha Jones and today we have a special guest Dr Lenard Smith. Its grate to have you here Dr Smith."

"Great being here Samantha"

"So are you finally going to tell us about the break through you hinted at two years ago."

"Actually yes I am we at Caladr INC have developed VR so advanced it makes what we use now look like the 1st gen models."

"Really so how does it work"

"Well first I need to give a quick history lesson to make sure I explain myself correctly. In the 20's VR was just starting to take off earlier I mentioned The first Gen models that only worked on the visuals. Later with they added headsets that continuously became more advanced later in the 30's and 40's came the advancement involving gloves and boot's, while being suspended in the air to give full range movement that was short lived. As most of us know people who play games want to play the game not be the game".

"True enough most people do it to relax and then if the person isn't fit enough they would tire easily."

"Exactly by the 50's the era of head gear was started allowing people to enter the mind into the game this is what we use today they might be thinner and lighter but the idea is the same.. However there were restrictions due to the amount of data this needed. Most games excluded smell and taste with barely any sense of feeling due to the fact that the technology simply couldn't deal with the sheer amount required."

"Thats not true anymore as some company's have made cooking games that allow people to taste and smell the food"

"True but have you looked at those games everything looked like plastic and the size was limited to a kitchen basicly making a game where you can't do anything but cook and taste those foods plus if i remember correctly you can only get around 50 recipies then you have to purchases a new hard drive to download the DLC. Talking about that isn't why I'm here, the point I was going to make was two fold. The first was that even now the computers are too slow to simulate a true VR world something will have to give. the second was I was going to state was the networking and the fact that online features were difficult if not almost impossible to manage"

"However didn't your company create an MMO called Atalok?"

"Yes we did however we sacrificed a lot to make it work we eliminated smell and taste as well leaving only the ability to notice you touched something your ability to see which, we had to nerf as well as reducing the users sound frequencies. The game could looked more like a second gen VR game then what a new game should have looked like. That was mostly due to our computers not being able to handle any more as well as that we nearly maxed out the ability of countries to play considering most still had networking capability of around 350 Exabytes per second.

So how have you and your team fixed this problem."

"Well fist we needed to advance computers. We have created quantum computers small-enough to fit a thousand inside the current model and they are 100 time's more powerful"

"That's incredible the quantum computers are really small only 4 inch cubes."

"Secondly we have created a new networking system that can handle 1000 Yottabytes per second an increase of 2000 times the over the old network"

"That's crazy how did your team come up with all of this and how did you develop this in such a short amount of time."

"Well we found some new talent who wants to remain anonymous to the public and the rest is a company secret but if you are that amazed now I don't know if you can handle what I have to say next you probably won't believe me."

"Dr Smith with what you've already told me of your accomplishment's today that would be almost impossible."

"Well as you probably know the reason Caladr has been working so hard is that my son was hit by a car and while the animitonic legs will likely work, he is in a coma."

"I'm sorry to hear that."

"It's been over ten years but what we at Caladr had hoped was to invent something that could repair a body part as well as a way to interact with a comatose patient. With our new product we believe that we have succeeded in our objectives we call them capsule's they are the first VR machine that makes you better the longer you play."

"That's crazy I can't believe it Caladr has developed a miracle for those that have lost so much."

"We have also developed something for those who wish to better them selves a game that actually make's you stronger."

"What do you mean stronger?"

"We will be releasing The World 2 where the capsule will scan the player and give them stats , strength, Intelligence, Dexterity, Wisdom, agility, Perception, willpower and endurance there are also sub stats that show where the player's stats are specifically."

"I don't know where to begin so the capsule scans me and give's me my stats and how where they are. I don't get it."

"I understand lets take strength a boxer requires a lot of strength however they use different muscles than a weight lifter. In the game they may have the same strength stat but different advantages in substats."

"Ok I kinda get it so how does this make me stronger."

"Using the same method that we use to recreate limbs the player will increase the stats they are given by increasing or modifying tissue."

"Wait before we continue how do you do that?"

"Ah sorry, so the patient is lowered into our medical jelly it has an immense amount of all minerals, vitamins ,proteins and acids that a body may need. Then our nanites start rebuilding. We have had the nanites and jelly prepared for years but the problem was the pain of rebuilding limbs. Due to the sudden growth that occured some patients likened it to being lit on fire. So we developed our capsule that accelerates time for the mind making the pain less noticeable by spreading the pain over an increased amount of time."

"So it also accelerates time for the user?"

"Yes at around a 10- 1 ratio we could accelerate faster but there due to the fact that the users feel hunger and the hunger pain would be dulled it could be dangerous."

"I see so back to making us stronger."

"Alright so after you make an avatar which gains race stats to play the game and level up you will gain stat points that you can distribute however you like it is also possible to train stats however like in the real world it takes time. The stats you apply will make your real body equally as strong as your character. Meaning if you start with a 10 intelligence which we see is an average you can make it up to 100 and be a genius in the outside world."

"That's incredible I'm sure everyone will want to play the game after hearing that."

"I'll say one last thing before I leave to finish the project we acquired the help of a certain gamer to point out the flaws in the old game and to help with everything from combat to the character creation to the AI Depth."

"Who could you be talking about?"

"It's only been a year and you forgot about him I'm sure he's depressed about that. His character was #1 in all fields in the Atalok Chernobog's original user the guild master of the Obsidian table."

"You mean before it was sold."

"Yea after the biding war reached 2.5 million NUSD (New USD) we contacted him asking if he would help with our project and he agreed."

"My god, what was he like? Our reruns of him still get decent rating's especially the last battle was awe-inspiring."

"I can't say, he said that if people found out who he was outside the game then it would be a huge pain."

"That's too bad could you do a girl a solid and give him my email next time you see him?"

"Hahah sure I'm sure he wouldn't mind."

"Before you go Dr Smith my producer informed me that after your announcement of the capsule our server crashed as well as 7 other of our affiliation sites."

"Looks like we're off to a good start."

With that the TV flashed off and all that could be heard was the clock then some slight snoring.

Outside of the apartment door a girl looking to be in middle school was standing slowly getting angrier her strawberry blond hair and emerald eyes began to look menacing. BANG BANG BANG “SPENCER wake up we have school” BANG BANG BANG “GET UP WE”RE GOING TO BE LATE AGAIN” then key's could be heard entering the lock the door flew open and before the clock could tick there was someone standing behind a young tall man if it wasn't for the fact that drool was dripping from the corner of his mouth he would look like a Prince in a fairy tale his hair was a golden blond when he opened his eyes to see his his royal purple eyes. Looking half dead he rolled off the couch muttering something.

"Spencer we're going to be late again and you aren't even dressed."

"Not going, I'm going to bed."

"Don't start with me mom said to get you to school."

"Your mom said that, bed is more important now."

"Spencer I'll tell mom that you wouldn't listen."

“Goin to bed soft comfy bed”

“ You can't skip the first day of school”

“Watch me”

“Well I guess you don't want the free breakfast at the school to welcome us back

“What kind of breakfast”

“ Waffles and bacon”

“you better not be lying to me”

“I'm telling the truth but you might make us late”

"Fine I'll get pants on I'll just sleep in class."

"You better not."

"Meh. after waffles I promise nothing"

As they left the apartment Spencer was wearing baggy sweats and a plain baggy T shirt with a yawn the two began walking the same route they always took they finally made it into the class room where Spencer took his seat and closed his eye's disappointed due to the waffles being a lie.
