Choose your race.
1- Fallen light wisp. A fallen wisp that was once one with the Light. Magic and speed is the strength of this race. Run and fire magic at foes from a great distance away to stay safe. INT and AGI get bonuses when leveling up.
2-Fractured Light Newborn. A soul saved by the Mother but forever changed by the damage done to his soul. Not accepting the power of the Mother, but still living with her grace. You use magic and your presence to ease those around you or destroy anything that that may try to harm you. INT and CHS get bonuses from leveling.
3- Newborn Void Light. Giving new life from the Mother when she saved the soul of a once powerful organism of Light. You have accepted the bond Mother gave you through her blood and became one of her children. Use physical and magical prowess to hunt and gain power through the death of your enemies. STR and INT get bonuses from leveling.
Choosing one of these will forever lose the chance to evolve into one of the other choices on this list. So pick wisely, for your actions hove consequences on how the rest of your new life plays out. And know that Mother will always love you.

Looking at the first of the choices, a small screen opened in front of me with a creature made of dim white light. It looked like a ball fire that keep trying to not be blown out by the wind. It was 4 inches (10.16 cm) tall and 3 inches (7.62 cm) wide. This honestly didn't look to be very impressive, where a light breeze could end up killing it.
The second one was a small baby that looked like it was made of light and with a bone like carapace that covered it neck to toes. The face had light glowing from its eyes. The light baby stood on two legs and had two arms, having no natural weapons for any self-defense besides the armor that covered it body. Only around 16 inches (40.64 cm) tall.
Finally, the third one looked to be the most impressive of the bunch. Having midnight blue skin with lines of purple covering its body. It had short hair black as the abyss, and its eyes gave off a faint dark blue glow that had small flicks of purple. The body had a bestial appearance, hunched over and ready to pounce. The muscles had a tenseness but still seemed to be flexible but not any bulging just lightly toned. With two arms that ran down to fingers with claws that looked like they could slash or piece flesh with ease. Running down the back were spikes on the spine which ran along to a tail swinging around with a length or 4 inches (10.16 cm) that ended in a jagged point. Two legs that looked like a wolf hind legs without the fur, claws on Its feet which seemed to give more balance or to hurt things by stomping or kicking things.

There were only two that stood out. Fractured Light Newborn, and Newborn Void Light. Fractured was a sweet talker that calmed others, but having only armor and nothing else wasn't very good when trying to survive, in my opinion not great to fight monsters. Void light was better in that it didn't need to talk to survive, and it had natural weapons that gave it better odds when surviving in monster infested areas. Even though it didn't have armor, plus it has magical abilities that boost its hunting prowess, further increasing the chances of survival.
Not really leaving me with any choice to consider at all, I made my decision and picked Newborn Void Light.
You have chosen now prepare your self for the path of prey and predator have begun. Fight and kill to grow my child, for the hunt never ends. The suffering is eternal, pain is but another part. Let this be a spoiler for what's to come in the future.
As the message dissipated from view, I felt something change within myself. Something growing from the center of my very soul. That's when it hit me hard, a pain worse than the one I experienced before when trapped in that darkness. The agony never stopped as my body was being created from nothingness, trying everything I might be able to do, nothing helped dull the pain that ripped through my soul and body that was forming. Had this been what Mother had been talking about when I read that message, or was that even her to begin with. My train of thought didn't last long, as the nerves attached to the brain, sending even more pain throughout my body.

Looking at the wiggling mass of meat, a smile crept onto her face as she watched with amusement as her new child was being remade by having accepted her gift. “I wonder what you will become later on down the line. You are the first of your kind to have been born, a mixture of Light and Void. Order and Chaos. I have many expectations for you to one day join me on my throne. Even if you don't the Chaos you bring waves shall ripple throughout the Realms. I will release you into an area of the abyss where tier 1-2 roam wild, so you have a fighting chance to survive. For what kind of mother would I be if I send my own child to their death so soon after being reborn. Not a very good one. But I am the best mother a monster can have.” Mother said. Opening a purple portal under the falling mass of meat. “Once you finish the evolution, you will fall through the portal that will take you to your new home. And good job on picking a race that actually had a chance of surviving the other monsters in this. Had you chosen any differently, you would have alerted every Void born in the area as an intruder. Then you would have had no chance of surviving the endless assault that would never stop to kill invaders of my Realm.” Mother said.

A connection was made with the newborn monster as it finished falling through the portal. “Now, no matter where you end up outside my Realm, I will always be able to find you. And if you do well enough, I may even give you some quest to with rewards that may help you or challenge you in different ways. Go and slaughter the those who cannot handle the path of power. Chaos is forever growing and all consuming, to live is to become Chaos incarnate.” Mother said. Thinking to herself, she remembered how she first started on the path which made her into what she was now.
The portal shut right before the laughter ripped out her lips, destroying everything around her magnificent form as her laughter grew even more crazed. Sounding like the insane cackles of hundreds of broken women. Tears began to form in the space around as gods from all the Realms try to fix the damage the Mother caused with her remembrance of the past. Hours went by before she calmed herself and spoke to those gods, fixing what she had broken. “I care not for you cowards who hide and play with the weak. So stop pissing yourself, new gods because if you think that even for a second that I can't break out of the seals that were placed from your hand holding with each to strengthen it around my Realm you are surely mistaken. ” Mother said. Playing with her hair as she tried to come down from her sudden giddiness.
“Nobody believes you whore, so shut up and go back to sleep.” new god said.
It happened too fast for any of the gods to react, as a beautiful clawed broke through and grabbed the young god that insulted her and yanked her into the Void and shut the hole that was made. “It seems to me that you need to be punished for that mouth of yours weakling.” Mother said. She open her mouth wide showing row after row of sharp sword like teeth. She dropped the other god straight into her mouth and began to chew, Ice shot out of her mouth as nothing seemed to bother her from the pitiful attacks that were launched inside the horror inducing mouth.
None of the others even tried to help as fear grip all the weak and newer gods. Only a few of the strongest gods that were of the apex of the gods didn't pay much attention to anything. All they wanted to do was fix the holes so the anomalies that were the Void born weren't able to cross into their Realms. But one did speak as they fixed all the damage done.
“Please stop killing them when that talk shit to you, it makes it even harder to replace them when they die. Anyway why were you laughing so much, it usually takes a few thousand years before one of your fits happens. This was way too soon for one of those. ” Ice God said.
“Not telling until a bit of time passes, trying to see if my new child survives or not. Then I may tell you a few things about that. But for now It's staying a secret for the foreseeable future. This act of yours must come to an end now since you all will be leaving.” Mother said. Waving at them to leave her alone and vacate the area around the border of her Realm where the seals were.
The Ice God only shrugged with a smirk on his face after getting her to talk even if it was just this much. “Fine I will come visit soonish, no telling when though since I'm never in one place for long. Talk to you later Iona Goddess of Chaos and Mother of the Void.” Ice God said. Leaving as quickly as he had come.
She could only sigh as her younger brother left being a chaotic little shit that he was, laying down she watched everything that was Chaos inducing or anything that drew her interest like her newly created son who just landed in a small pond full of water. It would be a fun time watching what was to happen.

To complete his mission he needs a dragon but the road to the dragon’s lair goes horribly wrong, and when he finally faces the beast he stands alone. A deeply emotional story that deals with pain, regret, betrayal, and failure. Despite it all somehow our heroes discover they need each other and slowly come together. With the help of some dedicated friends they realize their love is special, and go on to forge a new world befitting their unusual union. If you like dragons, romance, a little magic and a lot of war this might be for you. This story eventually evolves into a very loving harem, where the women rely on and love one another just as much as they love our hero. Please note: I am an amateur writer who started this story as a form of therapy while my wife was teetering on the brink of death. Thankfully she survived but by that point I was so committed to telling this story I couldn’t stop. I learned a great deal about writing over time but I am afraid my early chapters were very rough. I have since gone back and begun to edit them, applying the lessons learned and cleaning them up. I hope you will still enjoy the story, as I love sharing it and I can’t imagine a better use of my time. Sexual content.. In seven books I have written two sex scenes, but one of them will be highly edited once I reach them with my rewrite. Overall I imply our characters are sharing their love but don't go into any great detail as to how. So if sexual content bothers you, it is only lightly touched on twice.
