《Life's Allegory》Part III - Chapter 51: Makin

Sidhe Makin
The human is interesting to say the least, the ailment straight forward but complicated as all three spiritual influences are deeply rooted within him and competing to roughly occupy the same place within his spirit-body. I study the shadow of the reflection of his spiritual body in as much detail as is possible using the forge.
I could look at and study this reflection for days and fill an entire scroll with what I discover, such is the complicated depth of even a single spirit-body. But this one is particularly interesting especially for a human that because of their short lived nature usually grow a strong spiritual body much quicker than the longer lived races do. Sacrificing spiritual depth for expediency in maturity, something that hasn’t taken place with this one.
There is depth here, much more depth than I would have expected had I not already glimpsed that he was birthed by a Ghost, a demi-god of sorts. The influence of his heritage isn’t blatant but it makes a lot more sense now how this single human was able to bind a spiritual creature summoned by another sorcerer to himself without dying or melting from the inside out from the backlash.
The influence of the heritage of the mother has woven itself as the seams that hold this human together. Any other human not born of spirit wouldn’t have been able to do what this one has done and bound other creatures to itself it has not directly summoned personally. The threads connecting it to these creatures also growing in strength even as I observe them and allow him to get this perspective of himself.
It is delicate work shaping a spiritual body, work needing the one being forged to subconsciously shape themselves as I guide them from perspective to perspective and allow them insights into what is expected and letting that knowledge fester and take root. Most sapient creatures want to be normal, they want to be strong but stick to the norm when it comes to something as fundamental as a spiritual body.

This allows spiritual forgers to nudge people into a certain shape by giving them a perspective of what their spiritual bodies are developing into and a template of what they should be developing into. Usually these perspectives are enough for the person to allow their spiritual form to change subtly so it can conform to the expected parameters.
Some only allow small portions of themselves to become ‘normal’ but retain most of their unique natures as most people see themselves as being more than the rest of the worlds. So I give this young human a perspective of what I expected to see when looking at his spiritual body from this perspective. I allow him to study himself and determine where his spiritual development has deviated from the norm of his particular situation.
There are subtle shifts in parts of the body I didn’t expect to see any movement from but I’m an old hand at this and I direct our perspective to a different part of the body that is so far from the norm that even the most independent soul will wonder in worry about its current path.
Nothing goes as expected though, especially considering I'm dealing with a human and a very young one at that. This human seems to be taking this opportunity to influence its spiritual body subtly in ways I have never before observed or read about. Each change taking its toll on the actual physical body lying of the altar but locking in changes on the ever changing form of the spiritual body.
Even using instincts , which humans don’t have, how could this youngling know what to do and how to do it without my influence directing it’s every path? I watch in fascination at the things he chooses to pay attention to, the more I see the surer I become that he shouldn’t be able to do any of what he is doing.
Pulling back to observe the spiritual body in its entirety again I try to spot the changes that have taken place in this place outside the influence of time. There are minor visible changes to the stature and shape of the body, barely perceptible to most but undeniable to my senses as I read the tune of the spirit ambience around me.

I catalogue everything I see in the no time of the portal spirit plane the altar allows me access to and I digest their meaning and implications. This is the body of a warrior that much is set, yet at the same time there is a joy and peace only found in artists and lovers emanating from the form. Somehow there is a ring/sound/vibration/oscillation/something coming from somewhere in that thing.
It knows itself better now as the soul knows the spirit and the spirit knows the soul. This is a potentially very dangerous young man if ever he survives long enough and the impulse to completely destroy him before he becomes a threat is strong within me. An act that would put me at odds with the Mistress of Confusion Carmela herself, and it would be a while before we reconciled again. Another thousand years maybe, that woman can keep a grudge...
Definitely not worth it, but this human is one to be watched, he shows too great potential, puts forethought into his later development and is birthed by a Ghost. And again somehow gaining soul based powers through a twist of fate propagated by our own schemes in taking spirit ore from the primitives of Gaia. For had we not allowed the baseborn fae to attack the primitive settlement of the tribes he would never had left for the Vampyr Hito settlements.
The are other interesting changes to the spiritual form before me, it is definitely distinctly male now, and there are subtle shifts that seem to have translated into a front and a back. But there are no features still, not expression on the twisting yet cornerless visage. There is greater density to the form as thought it were previously an effervescent mist but now a flowing ball of liquid.
The soul and the spirit now know each other, there is familiarity with the Self that previously wasn’t there but whose foundations had been built pulling the body closer together making it more substantial. If I hadn’t seen the problem myself I would imagine this little human fooled me into showing him his true Self so that he could use the opportunity to surmount a barrier to his power.
His spirit is denser and I can only imagine how completely different his understanding of himself and what he may become now is or maybe he has no idea of the implications of all that we see. There is no sign of the struggle we came here to solve as the human seems to have independently solved it by relying on Sapientia wholly and letting her guidance lead him into deciding what to do next. A decision that in itself is the act necessary to decide the allocation of influences within himself as Wisdom takes dominance followed by the foreign spirit Beings flow and lastly Erotica being almost completely expelled before being controlled as one minor influence amongst many. The spiritual body is in complete balance as it shines with a radiance not visible in the human spectrum of light.
I have much to explore still but it seems the human has also benefited greatly from being in this process so I retreat from the power of the altar taking both our consciousnesses from the planes of the spirits. I have enough to think about as it is, and a few experiments to do now that I have the route he took from his perspective and how he improved himself in the archives of my minds.
Truly, these humans are a glut of information, how many worlds could I purchase from home with the patented knowledge of how to improve ones’ Self through the use of the sprit-forges following the path this human used?

If you were to ask someone what they thought of Revian Snow, they would say that she's small. Cute too. Doesn't talk much. Average grades, and hard to find in a crowd, though you'd think that someone with her looks would be more noticeable. She also plays the popular VRMMO's for some reason, but doesn't like to interact with others too much, even online. In short, she doesn't stand out too much. She likes it that way—After all, it's much easier to keep a secret when nobody's looking for one. If you enjoy my work, please consider supporting me on Patreon.
