It has been 3 days since Maureen asked me to live with her. I liked her. She was a good woman. And today we were going to her home. I was being discharged. The doctor told to come in for regular checkups.

When Maureen saw my burnt brand mark on my back she cried a lot. It was an odd seen a kid consoling an adult that it was alright.

They even sent for a psychiatrist for consultation. Well that did not go well he said the due to the incident i have become a little unsociable. And my intelligence which is above my peers add more to that. This made Maureen worried.

Now good news was that the pig lady was arrested and after the judge and jury saw the photos of mine of burnt mark and bruises. She was sentenced to not so good neighbourhood. The Jail!

Before leaving hospital i borrowed a camera from one of the doctors. I then asked Maureen to sit.

"You know it is uncanny when you talk it is not how a kid talks"She said.

Then i told her how i was the writer of the books her company had published.

Her face was hilarious and i clicked a photo of it. When she heard the click she turned red.

No way, this is good. And i ran and she came in running behind me.

In the end i had her promise she will help me turn it into a photo.

Well we arrived at her home. It was good. It had a lawn,swimming pool and everything. Guess her buisness was doing good. As i entered the house i thought "It's a beginning".
