"ARRGH" as the wolf chomps on my left forearm and knocks me down. I'm trying to stab it in the neck with my spare dagger but it keeps moving too much. decoy bastard is trying grab my right arm. Another wolf shows up trying to bit down on my right leg. Boot kicking him in the snout should warn him.
"Damn" the wolf has already bitten though my leather armguard.the scent of the blood sent the wolves into a frenzy. The loss of blood making me feel weak but sent me into a rage.
Remembering what that town did to me.
"No i'm not going to give those bastards the satisfaction. AHHHHHHHHHH."
my vision turns dark but I can still see, i've never seen life force so clearly before. Everything turns slow i see my mana drain the life out of the wolf chomping on my arm i just accelerated it a bit and the wolf just died. A surge of power just hit me. I turn to the decoy wolf that tried to take my right arm. I drop the dagger in my right hand grabbed the wolf by the throat i snapped it's neck and throw it at one i kicked.
I jumped up and grabbed my sword. I saw that there were at least 5 wolves still alive, besides the 2 i killed, and 1 i injured. 2 wolves jumped towards me i slashed them in half. The sword feels so light. I dashed toward the one i already injured, And kicked it in the head, killing it.
"ROOOAAAARRRRRR" i roared as whats left of the wolves ran away.
"With this power i can easily defeat a manabear."i turn the dead manabear over. I grabbed my daggers and pulled the mana saw out and stowed it.

"Damn the mana stone is fractured" while prying out the manastone.
"i could look for another bear."
a distant roar is heard.
"huh maybe next time" started sprinting full speed back to the village.
when i got in earshot of the village i pulled the hood tightly over my head and started screaming
"monster monster it killed a manabear and a pack of wolves" the guards were so distract by my words, and my bloody cloak. They didn't even take a good look at my face. I pointed in the i came from. They grabbed therir weapons and called for other guards. While i dissappeared in the chaos and took my cloak of when out of sight, and made my way to ded's smithy.
"boy what happened to you stink of blood?"
"i'm powerf" just fell like a puppet with it's strings cut.

His arc begins to crystallize around chapters 25-27. If that's too long to wait, I get it, I'm just trying to do my due diligence and warn you that the character development is a bit of a slow burn. Spiko has Plot Armor as thick as any MC that you can't really kill off for good. But no Demon Lord will trip over a pebble, onto a peel of any fruit of choice and then die in a comedic way. When she needs saving. She's a tough cookie, which will find ways to get out of trouble (or into it). -Yes, the picture shows Spiko in her true glory. Before a lot of other stuff happened to her. And yes, Spiko is a weird Name for a cat. I'm weird. -Thoughts of Spiko are in Cursive = Why is that flower blue? -Descriptions and passive observational stuff that is coming from 3rd person view is in normal = There stood a blue flower, as Spiko shifted her wary gaze. -Distinct sounds are in bold = Swish (goes the cat paw on that blue flower!) -Talking is as always in "Hey, stop that!" -System stuff will be in tables = [Stat gain Stuff and so on] -There will be light GameLit stuff. I won't overdo it and if i do anything GameLit, it will have a reason and explanation. Do excuse the table formatting. I'm not great with word processor programs. -I'm crazy. Updates: Saturdays + whenever I feel like it (atm about 2~4 chapters a weekend + maybe weekdays. I guess?).
