AFTER THE SPORT FESTIVAL
Ember and Bakugo walked into the classroom. Ember took her seat and waited until class was going to start. Aizawa walked into the classroom and said, "Good morning class. Today might determine your futrue as a pro-hero." Ember looked p with worry. "Today you guys are going to choose whcih Pro-Hero agency you are going to work with." Ember let out a sigh of relief. "Here are the stats for you who have offers." Aizawa pointed a remote at the board and a list of names appeared.
Ember gaped at the list of who wanted to be working with her for her internship. She had 20 different offers. 20! Aizawa began handing out pages and she started looking through the offers. Ember's mouth dropped open when she saw the last page. Ember looked through the other ofers but none of them stood out as much as the one she had saw. Ember wrote it down on a piece of paper and handed it to Aizawa. "Who'd you put down Em?" Bakugo asked.
"I put down Hawk's agency!" Ember said with a grin.
"You got an offer from Hawks?!" Mina exclaimed.
Ember nodded excitedly. "You're so lucky!" Hagakure told Ember.

With no home, no family, and only death waiting for him, Jayce decided to escape north to the uncharted Northern Territories to begin a new life. Forced into situations he was never prepared for and trying to cope with his past, Jayce tries to find safety in a place spoken about only in legends. There for the first time, he will make true friends and find people he will come to see as family. He will encounter strong enemies, build powerful alliances, and become a person his ancestors would be proud of. But surrounded by creatures he thought only existed in tales and pressed by the Empire’s constant expansion, Jayce’s safety may be only an illusion. To survive a world fraught with danger Jayce will need to grow stronger with each new experience and rebuild his once forgotten house. ********************************************************************** Note: The story starts slow. Although there is more action as the story progresses, there is a fair amount of introspection and character introduction in the first 30 chapters. Jayce is the main character, however, other characters play a large role and the story is seen through multiple POV's. This is a draft, it is not a finished work. This is not a story that focuses on an OP MC who beats up on weaklings. At times there can be a fair amount of internal monologue. Some of that may be edited out when I rewrite the story. I decided to keep it in the draft because I think it is better to have too much material rather than too little when I edit. So, basically, I’ve gotten tired of all these stale mcs that keep popping up left right and center. Either they are painstakingly good-natured or horribly written ‘evil’ characters. So, here’s my take on the concept of a Villain. Someone ruthless, cunning, and not shy of seeking darker means to an end. Hell, as long as it’s effective, he’ll prefer the blacker side of business. The new world will be, like many others, one in a medieval-type setting with traces of magic and the like; though I hope to make better use of this than most others who simply steal ideas from classical novels or other sources.

Did i form a connection with the boy or man in my dream. I still can't pin his age. Him trying to kill me in my sleep was bad enough but now i can feel his presence from time to time. What is going to happen now. He felt her, his heart felt, his sleeping frozen heart. A drop of blood fell on his face, then another and another. The body was nailed to the ceiling of the hotel room. The girl still had beautiful shapes, but her face was revealed in an ugly grimace. The Prince of hell has started for hours at her, he lured her into the room earlier, and had played well with her. Now her soul was gone and only a life less heap of flesh and bones was present.
