" tell us a story!” Mary and rosemary demanded their friend Ruby was 2 years older than them

" okay fine this is what I like to call the curse of the Dorian Gray picture

It was perfection

It captured every feature perfectly, from eyes the color of the sky, to the sun-kissed wheat hair crowning the head, every brushstroke was flawless...the shining gold frame around it all only gave it more beauty, if that was even possible! It called out to be touched, to be admired!

And it was all his! No one but him deserved to gaze upon its magnificence...

The one who painted it even said the frame was made from an ancient Egyptian ...what were those things called? Sar...so....coffin! A pharaoh’s coffin! Fitting that a king’s resting place now housed his likeness...

The more he stared, the more his almost lust towards the image faded and twisted into.., jealousy...

This painting would be forever perfect

His hands and face would grow slack, gain wrinkles

His eyes would fade

His hair turn grey

If only this cursed painting could take on it all for him! If only he could remain beautiful forever! Be immortal!

“I would give anything to have you take on all of age and ruin!” Dorian shouted at the painting, grabbing the frame in his hands feeling almost like energy pulsed from it at the touch, like it was alive and reacting “Make it to where death would never come!”

Lifeless blue eyes just stared back at him, a serene smile upon the painted face, almost seeming to mock him with it’s ageless beauty that would never change even after a thousand years....

He now started to feel hate for it...” Ruby looked up from the book that was resting in her lap she started giggling

“Rumor has it the painting is cursed, anyone who touches it with bare hands dies horrifically” Ruby said again before the three girls started giggling they are too old to believe in curses and Magic.Even though they were little bit superstitious.

“Funnily enough we can purchase that painting on Amazon!” Rosemary said taking out her computer, and showing it to the girls

the description was: picture of an 18th century gentleman this man was painted by one man named Basil Hallward not the straightest crayon in the Box

it is selling really cheaply only $9.99 so $10 altogether they had a lot of money they purchased it and it showed up the next day in a box

" thank you, we just really like paintings and we're hoping that when we have company tomorrow for a party mr. gray over here will be a perfect conversation starter!" the girl said paying the gentleman but the gentleman gave them one final warning

" be careful girls. Hopefully that thing is just a rumor but you may accidentally cut yourself on some glass just stay safe girls" they assured him they put on some gloves because why not, and then they hang up the painting and my goodness, was beautiful everything the book depicted it was so beautiful and fragile

" now this is coming from a lesbians mouth but dang mr. Grey, you are a handsome man you remind me a lot of my father he was kind generous and he looked just like you until he went missing and his body turned up a couple days ago." Mary said with a crying tone, when all of a sudden she thought she heard voices coming from the painting .

" human, do not weep surely your father lives also I prefer you call me Dorian instead of just mr. Grey" the painting said all three of the girls turned around with a gasp

" D-devil!" Mary whispered

" spirit" Rosemary whispered snuggling up to marry

" Prince of Darkness!" Ruby whispered at the painting they were thinking about what could have possessed in the painting

" the name is Dorian if my soul was not trapped in this painting I would punch all of you!" Dorian said the girls shot down eagerly getting closer to the painting they had taken off their gloves by that point and rosemary was reaching out to touch the frame

"NO! DONT!" Dorian screeched making Rosemary Flinch away from the painting.

" sorry, I don't want you guys dying horrificly like the others who forgot to heed the warning I am extremely sorry." Dorian said trying to get himself out of the painting the girls knew what to do now.
