As Julian and I went downstairs, my mind was shaken by what the Guildmaster revealed.

"Julian... I think the Guildmaster is aware that demons are indeed the cause."

I spoke to Julian quietly.

Alarmed, he asked.

"What evidence proves that assumption, Jules? Perhaps you're just a bit shaken."

It's normal to doubt my words.

"...I have plenty of evidence to show but this isn't the time... Let's meet up with Adrian and Chako first."

Julian nodded.

After several minutes, we head out of the Guild.

"I'm uncertain where Adrian and Chako are... But it's necessary that we make some preparations."

I told Julian.

"What kind of preparations?"

I thought for a moment then said.

"We need to improve our equipment and gather some means against demons or creatures of evil... I'll need to consult the library first though."

After thinking some more, I said.

"Julian, you need to repair your equipment as well. Aside from that, if you find Adrian and Chako, tell them to meet me. We still have some time before we head out."

Julian nodded.

"Understood. We need to make as much use of our spare time as efficiently as possible, right? I'll do my utmost."

"Prioritize repairing your equipment though. Adrian and Chako would meet us later at the inn. So, there's no need to rush. Still, the more work we do today the more time we have in the next days to prepare."

He nodded again.

We parted ways and I headed into the library.
