《Life is Wilde》Prologue: File: A.2

A group of people covered in black, tight fitting, clothes started at an archaic terminal. It was weathered with time, covered in dust, and nearly rotten. One member of the party was rustling around in the back. The person had pulled wires out of a floor console and began to fiddle around with it. Shortly, the soft hum of a generator came to life. With the activation of a power source, it seemed like the entire building took a deep breath. Dust scattered from the ceiling, falling down like snow, blanketing the group of people below. Their once pristine black clothes now mottled with the remnants of ages old.
Then, suddenly, a sharp light pierced the viel of growth on the peoples right. They all turned immediately to look. A screen, large and sturdy, was hidden through a canopy of leaves. A cacophony of noises could be heard as a video played. A woman was on the display. Her features incoherent. Her speach largely in tact.
Speaking in a commanding tone, the woman stated:
The mission was partially successful. In lieu of Agent A's performance, her family shall be under "protected" status. All operatives are to remain incognito. Infiltration to family permitted with good reason. No inter-personal sexual relationships "a Go". After retrieval of packet, Agent A will be extremely 'radiated'. 'Decontamination' is necessary. Remove all potential threat from Agent A.
The screen blinked on and off on a video recording apparatus. The station which sheltered the device was covered in reeds and grasses. Vines crawled up walls almost like mother earth had sprung to fight against technology. It was a miracle that any logs could be accessed.
The unit watching seemed awed. They turned to the person who had accessed secondary power to the archaic device. He then looked back sullenly, nodded, and they began to plant devices around the perimeter.

Exitting a hill of vegetation, a team of ten experts could be seen. They wore black clothes, covered in white, and looked worse for wear. As they paced undauntedly in the distance, the hill behind them was set aflame. A deep white blaze stretched to the heavens. Presumably, there would be no hill to speak of by the dawn of a new day. The only remnants of the hill would be in ashes and a memory.

Legend of the Sixth Sage
The Five Elemental Sages are the most powerful humans who had ever lived. Reaching the absolute pinnacle of cultivation, each of the Sages embodied one of the Five Earthly Elements, and their teachings have guided cultivators for hundreds of years after their disappearance. When Nimrod Hunter, a mundane villager who'd only ever dreamed of becoming a Disciple of one of the paths of the Sages, ran away from a pack of wolves led by an essence enhanced Beast, he had no idea he'd be forced to find refuge in the long forgotten home of a Sage. One whose name had been struck from the legends, And who seemed to have no connection to the Five Element, and who had left tomes of lore the rest of the world had never even heard of. 8 178Meg The Heavenly Merchant
Updates once a week.(This is a rough draft) Author's Note: This story has grown in ways I did not predict and while it still features a merchant those aspects have gotten less page time than the fighting and romance elements. I have updated the description to represent the story better) For the past fourteen years Meg has dedicated herself to walking the path of a Heavenly Dragon Knight in her favorite videogame, Tattered Realms:Chaos Age. But now the game is shutting down and everyone wants to know what she plans to do for the sequel. Meg isn't sure at first. She knows only that she yearns for the days when she could lose herself in a game without worrying about boss strategies and crushing her rivals. And when her friend suggests playing a merchant her heart is filled with the same wanderlust and inspiration that launched her gaming career in the first place. But if she isn't dominating dungeons and setting records will people still watch her play? And can she really walk away from all the fighting for a quiet life of buying and selling?

One small byte for man, one giant terabyte for mankind.Join Adam as he partners up with an advanced AI, Eve, to pioneer the forefront of Virtual Reality immersion. There may be a bit of comedy. There may be a bit of romance. This story has no final destination in mind so let's see what my head cooks up. Written one chapter at a time, there is honestly little to no planning involved.Feedback and ideas are greatly appreciated.Currently inactive. (5/26/16) Rereading my own work, finding something called dedication and determination again, I may pick this back up in June or later. Stay tuned for more info.
