The first time I could sense anything...he was there. All I could do was sense some distinct vibrations but I knew it was him. When I could move my feelers, I would constantly sense his presence. His every movement was felt by me...his warmth was a comfort to me. A while later, I gained sight. Though purplish green because of the fluids surrounding me, I could at last see what he looked like. My body was formed but I could not move. I wanted to get out. I wanted to meet him.
Today was different. Today, he decided to let me out. As soon as he opened the lid, I tried to move to get his attention. And it seemed like he noticed. When he poured the purplish-green liquid out and picked me up, I was so excited that I moved about frantically to get his attention. And he saw me. He saw me! I wanted to meet him...to touch him...to feel his warmth. But no matter how I move, I couldn't break through the thing that held me. I worried...but not for long. It seemed as if he wanted to meet me too. He helped me break free.
As I crawled out of the prison that held me, I saw him hold out his hand. He wanted me to come to him! I happily ran towards him and curled up on his hand. Ah! The warmth! He said some gibberish to me while he lifted me up for a closer look but I didn't bother with it. Then, another problem arose. With all that excitement, I had forgotten that I was hungry. As if in response, he moved towards the jar of purplish-green fluids. It did not take me long to realized that he must be giving me those fluids to eat. I happily jumped into the jar and began feeding.

Mmm! Delicious! Though tangy, the food tastes so familiar. After I finished eating, I could hear him speak. The words...I know what they mean! And then, I recall the previous gibberish. They were not gibberish...they were words! I know what he said! He...he called me 'Arsenic'. My name is Arsenic. I am Arsenic!
