《Door to Nowhere (On hold for a remake)》Chapter 2

The sun beat angrily against my skin, a massive contrast to the cold of the cave. Forest in front and to my right, a vast lake with a waterfall to my left. “Where am I?” I ask myself again out loud. This isn’t Seattle. The air was hot and moist, and I couldn’t see any large buildings nearby.

~Errrrrrrrr~

My stomach was starting to feel sick from the lack of food. I did the only thing I could think of; I started walking, my eyes scanning for anything whether it be food or a clue to my current predicament.

“Daniel…”

That voice again.

“Run Daniel,”

It was louder and clearer than before. “Who are you!” I could feel cold sweat on my naked body even with the heat of the outside. Something was starting to feel wrong. As if on cue, the woods around seemed to close in. Around me, the light started to dim, and the wood seemed to take on an almost evil guise.

~Crack~

Turning to the sound, a black shadowlike creature emerged from the underbrush. Eyes red like blood stared at me, it writhed and changed reminding me almost like a squid but keeping an almost wolf-like shape to it. “What the fuck is that?” My heart involuntarily started beating, painfully, as if any moment it would explode. “Seriously? I’m fucking naked!” The (wolf-like?) monster started to split open rows of teeth and tentacles coming out rushing towards me. Run, I have to run!

My bare feet, not used to running ached and ripped, on every stone, and stick. The presence of the creature could be felt without even looking, and it was getting closer.

~Whoosh~

A tentacle slashed near me, attempting to skewer me probably, instead of burrowing itself into the trunk of a thick old tree. “Shit shit shit shit.” That was too fucking close.

“So HuNgrY”

The voice came from behind if anything could sound like an evil frenzied beast it was that thing. My vision was starting to blur; I had never been an overly athletic type. The forest was getting thicker here, ducking, weaving, and jumping. I couldn’t even tell where I was going.

A huge branch, I couldn’t see what was in front. Heaving myself over I jump over the branch realizing too late that ahead of that branch was a cliff. “I’m going to die; I’m going to die, FUCK!” I scream as I tumble down rolling like the lumpy sack of skin that I was.

The fall was over after an agonizing minute, or so, thankfully I didn’t seem to be injured. The steep decline above me seemed to have somehow not killed me.

~Uuuuuuughhhhhh~

What had been left in my stomach decided just then to vacate. I lay next to it, superficial wounds covering me all over. Maybe I should have just let that thing eat me, or whatever it was planning to do to me. It didn’t seem to have followed me thankfully, dumb luck, I guess. Instead of whining over this pain I should thank god I got away.

Looking up, I could tell that night was approaching, pulling up on a nearby rock I begrudgingly get my body to work.

~Mmmm~

I groan out involuntarily; my feet are a painful mess. Taking steps felt pretty difficult.

~Errrrrr~

And I still haven’t eaten anything. I swear it’s going to be so embarrassing, I’m going to die from hunger in god knows where, after surviving some nightmare encounter with god knows what. I almost miss home.

“Human. Hey human.”

A chorus of small voices started to whisper from seemingly nowhere. Looking towards where the voices came from, I could see a couple of dim lights, a good number of small creatures seemed to be approaching.

“Yes, over here human.”

“What do you want with me?” I asked with apprehension, I could see them now, they were tiny so small that an individual one could fit in your hand, they looked kind of like fairies but had bird wings for arms, and legs covered in what looked like feathers. Some looked like men, some like women. So, I guess you could also describe them like little harpies. One, seemingly the leader of the small group flapped itself near my face.

“You seem hungry human,” the seeming leader of the group chimed, her voice terse and low in itself, her pretty little face smiling in a kindly manner. “Yeah. Where am I? This isn’t Seattle is it?”

“Hahahaha,”

A chorus of tiny giggling (faeries?) could be heard from the group. Though one of them seemed a little confused and had distanced herself from the group, for some reason, my eyes drew themselves to her tiny almost lonely figure. If the leader of the group could be called pretty, then this one could be called beautiful. How strange that she seemed so separate and different from the group. The leader seemed to sigh in exasperation, her almond like colored hair flowed downwards seemingly emphasizing the tiny woman’s well-endowed bust. “I apologize human; we don’t see many of your kind around, especially ones who seem to be so lost?” She explained. She seemed to be fidgeting somewhat nervously at that explanation, though my eyes seemed to be more attracted by her lovely breasts that appeared to be swaying enticingly.

“Oh my,” The woman suddenly said, her face taking on an interesting look. “Huh?” I looked down to where she seemed to be looking …

Shit shit shit shit, I completely forgot I was naked. I had taken too much of an interest in her as I now found myself hiding my lower section.

“Hahahahahahahahaha,”

The chorus of fairies burst out even harder in laughter, some of them laughing so hard that they dropped to the ground. “The human seems to have a thing for you Dearay,” one of the laughing faeries that had dropped to the ground said in between hearty laughs. Though the solitary fairy seemed to be blushing a pitch red, her face almost matching the pretty red that covered most of her body and head.

“I um, am sooo sorry,” I struggled to say as one hand covered my crotch and the other covered my quickly blossoming face. If this is a delusion, then shit am I in trouble.

Deray smiled, her face barely showing a hint of embarrassment. “Let us show you where the food is, and afterward, I’ll answer any questions you have to the best of my abilities.

With that, she turned away, “Follow us human.” Off she went, giving me a sneak peek of her tight tiny ass… God damn it, she’s fucking tiny stop staring at her Daniel. I groan inwardly as I start to follow behind, a little piece of me wondering just how much I should be trusting them.

Most of the crowd of fae followed closely behind Deray, but the redheaded one took this opportunity to close the distance.

She peeked at me inquisitively, as if wanting to speak but unsure how to go about it. I still had a lot of questions, so I took this opportunity to talk. “So, I never got the chance to introduce myself; I’m Daniel.” The red-headed fae’s face turned scarlet. She must be pretty timid.

“Oh um hello Daniel, my name is Rosary,” She fidgeted, a little, something that seemed quite a feat in itself as we were still moving. “But you can call me Rosy if you like.”

I could feel the hints of a smile forming, along with anxiety. If this is a delusion, it’s a really good one. The chime of this girl reminded me of a lullaby, sneaking a look at her, I quickly looked away as the sight of her reminded me of my earlier incident. “So, um, where are we?” the question came out hesitantly, I wasn’t even sure I wanted to know. The very aspect of the subject was making me question my sanity.

Rosy, tilted her head cutely, “We are in the Forest of Lord Beelzebub.” The girl responded as if it was common knowledge. The name somewhat rang a bell, “Wait, by Beelzebub do you mean as in the devil Beelzebub?”

“Well, of course, Daniel, Beelzebub is the lord of this land.” Suddenly I felt queasy, and it wasn’t just from hunger. A demon lord was the leader of this place? “Wait are we in hell?” The question didn’t seem to go very well with Rosy. Suddenly she shivered, wait it wasn’t just her, the whole forest seemed to shiver as if in fear. “Please do not say such a thing, Daniel.” This isn’t that place, and please don’t say that again.” The pretty girl seemed visibly shaken, her pretty Azure eyes had a look of terror to them. “I’m sorry.” I meekly responded unsure of what was going on anymore.
