《Idealism》The Oversight

At his desk, Joseph is holding his head in his hands. Lawson is by his side.

Both of their expressions are gloomy.

"Why," Joseph asks, "is there so many people in the Government that I can't even hold a speech for them without making it public?"

Lawson nods sagely.

"I don't think that the Movie Theatre can even hold all of them..."

Lawson makes a "hm" sound.

The gloom that surrounds Joseph intensifies. Lawson silently steps to a side.

Joseph slaps his face with his hands. "Oh, what am I thinking? I'll just rent out a nice restaurant and serve a banquet and make a speech there!"

A snort almost escapes Lawson's mouth as he asks, "With whose money?"

Joseph's head turns mechanically, slowly, delibrately, and stares at him. Lawson shivers. "I apologise."

The current president's shoulders seem to slump even more.

"Furthermore, I should deal with the medical quality in the non-profit hospitals and not just the medical insurance if I want to actually help the citizens."

Joseph's head hits the table with a thunk. "So many things I missed out."

Lawson sighs. "We."

"Huh?"

"We. We missed out."
