Parallel world.

There were many explanation, theories and concepts regarding this, but the best description to explain it is the unlimited possibilities formed as another world.

For example, let’s say you are investing a stock. There are many endings in it, maybe you lose or win big. Or, maybe it’s just plus minus zero.

Therefore, the result can be you who can be a beggar or rich tycoon in an instant. Or, you can still stay the same.

Rein himself is also the same. Although theoretically it won’t be possible but, maybe there’s another James who lived himself like Rein in his created Light Novel

Because,

(His character himself is the ideal ones I want to achieve.)

Therefore, this possibility became a parallel universe, where a different but similar existence like him live and walk a different path in one of the many branches.

“Although I don’t know the me exactly you imagine in your story, at least I can say that I have a similar but different path than him.”

Just like a lightbulb, James realized it in an instant what this person—no ‘himself’ is

Rein with a smile nodded, “Right, that’s my goal during my previous life. Just like you, I also know and understand you but in different form, something like clairvoyance.”

With this, he already resolves half of the doubt he have on his Earth. Why he looks like him, what is his existence, and why the so-called Satan looked similar.

‘They are all setting and story that I have imagined.’

However, there are some unconnected point. On his planned story, the character Rein was able to defeat the final boss Satan and achieve happy ending with his companions.

Rein himself stated become a part of scattered soul, Satan is still alive and kicking, destroying his world.

Therefore,

“The ending or the story itself have huge difference of plot compared to what I planned”

Rein, who hear that couldn’t help but sadly smiles, “I’m sure the story you wanted to write is much more beautiful and peaceful of me having a smooth sailing. I’m sorry to say but..”

“The reality Is always cold and cruel to you” James and Rein said at the same time.

Stunned, they are lightly laughing for realizing again just how similar they are.

“then, what’s the problem you can’t even solve? Although you are human, but at the same time you are a supreme who have powers surpassing the Gods.”

Rein said, “ True, I was able to achieve it. But.., it was too late, by the time I gain my power, that bastard has already surpassed me. His power, is not something that I can defeat in badly stattered state. ”

Which means, a power which wasn’t supposed to exist in Lucifer materialize and able to defeat Rein completely.

James couldn’t help but wonder, “Lucifer himself is the embodiment of evil, a demon who wanted to bring chaos and destruction in the story I wrote. Is it different in your world?”

Shaking his head rein said steadily, “No, that itself has no difference to the Lucifer you see at Earth. However, his background and power are different.”

“Which are?”

Rein explained, “In your story, Lucifer is just a Demon God who is dark element itself. However, in my world, Lucifer is a fallen angel envoy of God of Creation itself from the Holy Scripture of Bible. …. You understand what I meant?”

From this only Rein can reach one conclusion, “…. Just like Yin and Yang, he has Darkness and light to cover the weakness and become the strongest God.”

Sighing, Rein said, “That’s it, Lucifer himself is a high-ranking existence who can be a par of most Gods. If you add the corrupted power of darkness combined with high-ranking of Light…”

An existence on par with the strongest, God of creation has been born with fuck*d up personality.

“My God..” Exclaimed by James.

Although he already vaguely realizes it, but he never really imagines the main Antagonist in Rein’s world was too ‘cheaty’ with Overpowered ability.

“Fuu…” Taking a deep breath, James wanted to resolve other half of the doubts he has.

“Then, the ending? What did you do to Lucifer—no, Satan itself? I remembered he said he waited a long time to take revenge. Did you seal him?”

Bitterly smiling Rein speak, “Figuratively, yes. I and my companions unwillingly seal him in a different dimension where there is completely nothing by completely expending my power and soul.”

Hearing that, Rein has a bad feeling, “It can’t be… right?”

With a wry smile, Rein nodded slightly, “It’s just as you imagined James. Unfortunately, after the long passage of time passes, he began to have understood and obtained the concept of void himself ,resulting him controling the space he sealed from.”

“ha, haha, ha, haaahhh…” with a mix of bitter laugh and sigh, James is seriously feeling depressed, complicated and frustrated at the same time.

‘That kind of “I’m getting stronger” thing should be for Protagonist itself, not the final boss!!’

Not noticing James’ dark expression and feelings, Rein continued his story, “After he freed himself, he surpasses the barrier between worlds, arriving the world closest to him,… which is your world to fulfill his twisted desire.”

“The rest, you experienced it personally” ending with that, James slumped to the ground feeling bitter and ironic

A final boss he created (In the parallel world) came to his world to kill not only him but the Earth itself to vent his pent-up frustration. ….Other than karma, what else can you describe it?

Roughly 10 minutes later…

“Are you alright now?” asking Rein with wry smile.

“It’s… fine.” Answered James with a depressed face. “*sigh* in any case, what’s done is done. The important thing is what to do in the future.”

responding to that, Rein faintly smiles,” Right, this is going to be my purpose for rescuing you. In fact, that’s your last question right?”

True, although Rein wanted James to kill the fuc*ing bastard, he never explains in detail what should he do specifically.

“What should I do? If it’s possible, I will do it with the utmost of my power.”

With the brightest smile, Rein answered it clearly,

“I want you to inherit my legacy and obtain enough power to kill that disgusting bastard by traveling other worlds.”
