There are two things that matter
Money and Power
A person without any of this is called a commoner
And they are at the bottom of the food chain
......................................
Inside a nice little manor
There was a family
This family was influential
After all it was a family of nobles
Those with money
Even if they lacked the power
Inside of a lavish room in the manor
A young child was sitting with a book in his hands
Something a commoner would be lucky to have
The child's name was Simon
He belonged to the Lockers
A group of nobles with a reputation
By his side was a woman commoner
Her job was to watch Simon
An heir to the Lockers shouldn't wander too far
Simon hated being watched every day
So he decided to play a little prank
He closed the book and moved to grab another from the library
The woman followed Simon out of the room
As the two turned the corner
Simon made a quick sidestep and hid behind the curtains
When the woman passed the corner and didn't see Simon she screamed
Simon was surprised by the woman's action
It was just a little prank
Wasn't it?
Hearing the woman's shriek his father rushed into the room
A man who looked so fat he could've been a pig
Running probably made him sweat
Having his matters disturbed he was in a terrible mood
When he saw the woman without Simon he turned on her
"Where is my son?" bellowed the man
With a fierce slap to the face the woman flew
The woman sobbed as she landed on the floor
Not with any dignity did she clench Mr. Locker's pants
"I don't know" she screamed
This sight was too much for 7 year old Simon
All this because of a little prank was too much
"Unhand me" Mr. Lockers bellowed once more with a kick
Even with blood dripping out of her mouth
The woman's only goal was groveling on the ground
Mr. Locker had enough of this woman and prepared to kick her again
Seeing this stance Simon rushed out of the curtains
Upon seeing Simon a smile blossomed on Mr. Locker's face
Unbecoming with the woman on the ground
"She didn't do anything Father" the youth saying to her defense
Advertisement
"She lost you" Mr. Lockers matter of fact said
With a turn he summoned the guards
"A hundred whips" he commanded
"No" the woman screamed as she was dragged
"Father" the youth yelled as he grabbed his father's pants
"Don't you worry Simon" his father consoled him
"She will get what she deserves"
This made Simon sick
His father was still being nice while punishing the woman
The youth had to watch her get dragged away
That night he listened to all 100 wails of pain
She didn't show up the next day
.....................................................
Since the incident Simon was cautious
No more out of place behavior
But from time to time some screams were heard
Simon couldn't take it anymore
He went to his father's study
With 3 knocks he was let in
His father welcomed him with a warm smile
Simon spared no pleasantries
"Why have you been whipping the servants" he asked
"Is it disturbing you?" his father asks
"I can have them do it elsewhere"
"Don't do it at all" Simon yells
This causes a jump of Mr. Lockers
"Now Simon" Mr. Lockers starts
"They are just mistakes" Simon continues
"Not deserving of whippings"
"That's because they are commoners" Mr. Lockers says matter of factly
"What's the difference between a commoner and us" Simon questions
"We are nobles and they aren't" his father says
"That isn't right" Simon says
"You'll understand when you're older" Mr. Lockers chides
"Then I don't wish to understand" Simon yells
"Then I have no choice" Mr. Lockers sternly says
With a call he summons some guards
"Simon is not to leave his room until he has some understanding" Mr. Lockers orders
Despite being his son the guards still dragged him kicking and screaming
For the next half month no one could enter or exit the room
...................................................................
This treatment lasted for 10 years
Simon was considered as 'sick' whenever someone asked
He received a manservant named Mitch
As if to emphasize the natural order Mitch was practically brain dead
All he could do was follow orders
Simon wore a sad look whenever he saw Mitch by his side
Over the years received many tutors
They would act nice until Simon brought up commoners and nobles
Each time Simon would go without food
This made him become thin

Reading many books available to him by request
Simon learned of many things about the outside world
And he hated it
All of this prejudice against commoners without power
And nothing he could do about it
.....................................
The 6th year after the isolation
Simon and Mitch were outside the house in the backyard
This was one of Simon's escapes
Can't live your whole life in a room
Simon was busy examining all of the different things in the backyard
Mitch was just watching
Simon sighed as he looked at Mitch
No matter what he did
Mitch would never react
That tall bone skinny tanned lad would never react
Simon was only able to bring Mitch by requesting him to follow
Not by asking Mitch but by requesting
What difference was there to an order then
But Simon could not change who Mitch was
At least before today
Because by Simon there was a particular stone that caught his attention
It wasn't as dull as others but was actually brightly red and jagged like a shard
Simon ran to Mitch with the stone gripped in his hand
"Look what I found" he exclaimed excitedly thrusting at Mitch
Slow to the point Mitch just directed his eyes downward
Simon exasperatedly grabbed Mitch's hand and placed the stone in it
Mitch showed no reaction as he stared dumbly at the stone
"It's pretty amazing isn't it?"
Without hesitation Simon reached for the stone again
And scratched Mitch's hand drawing some blood
As well as digging it in his own drawing his own
Boom
The two fell to the ground as if seizing
From within Simon's consciousness
Thunder and fury sounded as cracking sounds rang
Simon screamed from his mind as it started to tear in two
From Mitch a similar thing occurred but with less screams
Then their minds became two
And one half of each mind flowed through to the other
In a matter of seconds two different minds occupied the same body
Then in a matter of minutes the body assimilated the minds
And the stronger mind took the reigns
Simon opened his eyes to look around him
He was lying on the ground with a sense of something being different
Then he noticed
In front of him was his body
The frantic Simon tried to see if he could make the body move to snap him out of it
Then with a bizarrely twin feeling
The other Simon moved his arms and shifted his legs
Following the same feeling he 'opened his eyes'
He saw both Mitch on the ground and Simon sitting as though they were in front of him
He knew that whatever happened he was no longer just Simon now
Now he was both Simon and Mitch
And it left him feeling ecstatic
Until a maid came out of the backdoor and saw them both on the ground
Her scream was heard around the house
Rushing out of the house were the family and their servants
The guards each took hold of Simon and Mitch and brought them each to a different place
While Simon was brought to a local doctor
Mitch was taken to a dark solitary room and chained up
Simon could sense everything from inside of that cell
It both scared him and made him furious
This was likely where the commoners were whipped
While the doctor was calm and nice to Simon
His father was rather angry and rude to Mitch
As Mitch he could not act out for fear of causing problems to him
Who knew how long the transition lasted
Apparently long enough for the lashing
Simon had to bite his lips to resist the urge the other end of him felt to scream
As a privileged child of a noble he never knew pain so this was intense for him
He however knew that he would need to tolerate it for the future
Because this would be the beginning of his end game
............................
Later that afternoon
Mitch had regained consciousness and meekly walked outside
It had all started with the stone so he grabbed the stone and hid it
Mitch dashed inside and proceeded to fulfill his duties for Simon
No one had any idea Simon still occupied Mitch
This continued for another few months
Within those few months Simon tried to figure out how much he could influence Mitch
By the end of those few months he had managed to enter Mitch's mind
Simon started to look over Mitch's memories
From there Simon learned more of the commoners and nobles
Another few months and Mitch returned to his family
Upon his return he told the family he remembered them
This made Mitch's mother and brothers happy
Better than Simon who had a grumpy old man as the manservant at the time
This time though had Simon behaving which made his parents happy
The difference between the two families made Mitch feel regret
After a month with the family Mitch returned
He was not allowed to return for another three years
After three years of excellent service
Mitch was allowed to leave with a weighty pocket
Simon was also respected again
Enough so that he got Mitch in the Bu-Wing Magic School
Mitch then left with a bizarre look in his eyes
No one knew what to make of this except Simon
Ten years went by and now it was his time

Delve
Summary – Level 1: Delve is an isekai litrpg that follows an average guy who just happened to wake up in a forest one day. He wasn’t summoned to defeat the demon lord or to save the world or anything like that, at least as far as he can tell. The only creature there to greet him was a regular old squirrel. Soon enough, he meets other people, only to discover that he can’t speak the language, and that not everybody immediately trusts random pajama-wearing strangers they met in the middle of the wilderness. Things generally go downhill from there, at least until the blue boxes start appearing. Delve is a story about finding your way in a new, strange, and dangerous world. It’s about avoiding death, figuring out what the heck is going on, and trying to make some friends along the way. It’s not about getting home, so much as finding a new one. Did I mention that there will be math? Summary – Level 2: Okay, but what are you in for, really? Well, this story is supposed to be realistic, or at least, as realistic as a fantasy litrpg can be. The main character doesn’t instantly become an all-powerful god and murder-hobo his way across the universe. Delve is, at its heart, a progression fantasy, but that progression is meant to feel earned. The numbers in this story actually mean something. Everything is calculated, and if you find a rounding error, I expect you to tell me about it. That said, if math isn’t your cup of tea, there is plenty more that the story has to offer. Characters are meant to feel real, and progression isn’t only about personal power; it’s also about allies, connections, and above all, knowledge. Figuring out how the system works is a significant theme. ... What, you want more details? Okay, fine, but this is going to get a bit spoiler-y. Are you sure? Yes! Really sure? I mean, this summary is practically half as long as the first chap– Now! Okay, okay! The main character becomes a magic user, but he takes a route that is not very popular in adventurer culture, namely that of a support. There is a full magic system with various spells, skills, and abilities, but our MC decides that aura magic is the way to go, and that the only stat worth investing in is mana regeneration. Most people at the Adventurer’s Guild think that this makes him a bit of a dumbass, but he’s playing the long game. We’ll see how that works out for him, won’t we? Because of his build, the MC levels up fast, at least compared to normal people. There are no cheats, though, and he is limited in other ways. There are some clear and pretty obvious downsides to his build. That’s what makes it fun, no? Morals? Our MC has them. Again, we’ll see how that works out for him. Realism, remember? Would you be okay with killing someone and looting their body? I sure hope not. POV? The focus is on the main character, but there will be occasional varying perspectives from people around him, or involved in the events related to the main plot. It isn’t going to jump all over the place. Tech is standard medieval stasis. No smartphones, but the MC does have a technical background. Computers and their programming might be involved. There might even be a bit of uplifting down the road, who knows? Anyway, it isn’t the focus. He isn’t going to invent the gun in chapter 1 and change the face of warfare. Romance is not a major focus. Friendships are more the name of the game, though there will be some characters in romantic relationships. There is exploration, though not as much of the geographical nature as you might expect. It is more about exploration of the system and the culture. The pace is slow and detailed, sometimes verging on slice-of-life. The action is meant to be realistic and grounded in the numbers, and it is intended to have meaning beyond simply punching things until they stop moving. The general tone of the story is grey, and some parts can get quite dark. People die. Sometimes, people with names, but not anywhere near GoT level. There is plenty of light, too, though, to balance the darkness. The world is dangerous, but overcoming that danger is why we’re all here, isn’t it? Anyway, if you’ve made it this far through the summary, you clearly like words. I hope you enjoy the story! Cover by Miha Brumec Summary Updated: 2020-06-14

Asturian Warbringer - A LitRPG on Earth
Currently releasing 5 chapters a week Luke Kells liked only one thing about himself: his green eyes. He hated getting bullied, hated being poor, hated being an orphan, hated his weakness, hated the government, hated his life. If someone had given him a button to push and kill everyone but him and his granddad, he would've done it without a second thought. Then, one day, after fainting during a beating, he woke up with memories that would change his life. Magic, martial arts, how to craft special artifacts; he knew it all. Anyone would’ve taken that path to glory at once. However, he had to deal with a lot on his plate first. To even begin walking that path, Luke first had to deal with his own psychological issues. Almost two years of brutal bullying that was akin to torture and no support from the school staff of the police had left him with a broken soul. Before even realizing he could be rich or powerful, he had to bring himself out of the mental hellhole he found himself in. Oh, and his memories also told him the Sentinel Tower would change reality in six months to protect the planet from the Demonic Horde. But that wasn’t as important as not making the local bully angry, right? A story about personal growth, overcoming obstacles, and reaching absolute glory at the end of the path. This is a slow-paced, character-centered story. If you want something faster paced, filled with almost immediate and nonstopping action, check out my other novel: Modern Awakening - A cultivation, LitRPG, apocalyptic novel.
