Lately my father has been really busy and would not play with me even when I started crying. He would always say that I should stop crying and play with the servants or to go and learn how to speak with my tutor.

My mother is the only one who has enough time to play with me but only occasionaly.

A few days later

Tomorrow will be my birthday and my father told me to behave as prince like as I could. He also mentioned that his sworn brother will attend the birthday party with his wife and son who was 1 week younger than me.

I couldn't wait for tomorrow and went to sleep early and woke up early as well. We had a normal breakfast like always and then I was brought to a seamtress to fit my party clothes.

That alone took 1 hour after that the servant took me to the baths to make me fresh. He bathed me for another hour saying that I need to look as clean as possible.

Then the seamstress from befor fitted me into my cloths again to make sure that it would fit perfectly.

She told me to not make these cloths dirty and left. It seems like she needs to prepare my father and my mothers clothing as well and seemed very busy so I went to look for my tutor to practice speaking a little bit more as the party is going to start in 2 hours.

After 2 hours of practice and advice from my tutor the party began and I was greeted with a very big crowd of people sourrounding the podium.

There I held a short speech and right after that the people started to make a line and gave me presents one by one.

Finally nearing the end of the line a child greeted me and gave me a pendant and told me that it could save my life as long as I had it with me

My father greeted his parents with such respect I finally found out who they were and greeted them as well.

When the party was over the child whos name is Mars stayed behind as well as several other children that intended to befriend me.

So a week past by and Mars birthday was just around the corner and we held a private party.

After the party was over the guests left and my father gave him something and I saw astonishment on his face it must be something that he didn't expect.

Afew months later he set of to the royal academy and I became really lonly because it would go back to thedays were I could only play with the servans again.

Then after a few weeks Mars came to visit us and brought along a recipe which we tried and were overwelmed of how delicious it tasted.

He told us that he would go around the continent and sell a few recipes and then he left.

And then a few months later news traveled to us that Mars had won the royal tournament brutally but after we had heared of what happened to him we were astonished that he didn't send those teachers over to us to get exiled but kept then imprisoned in some kind of space.

Then after he had graduated and he was finally home again did my father tell me about an arranged marriage and he asked me if I wanted to be one of the 2 candidates and I said yes.

So did Mars so we could be counted as rivals.
