The hospital was chaotic. Leah's accident wasn't the only thing that had happened. Out of rage, Derik went to Donny's hideout and challenged them. Blaming everyone there for whatever happened between him and Leah. They ended up pinning him to the ground before shooting him with the intent to let him bleed out. I could hear his father yelling in the hall at Ricky, demanding that he saves his son faster.

Leah's father sat in a chair in the waiting room. He was doing what everyone else did in a room with that kind of name. He was waiting for the doctor to give him news about his dying daughter. Seeing him so torn up made me realize that we might not have shown up in time to save her.

The image of her laying on the ground broken and covered in blood was forever branded in my brain. Ricky had to hold me back from running up to her and hurting her more. All the while Ashley tried to talk to Leah in hopes that she didn't close her eyes. But eventually she did and she hasn't opened them since.

Leah's father quickly stood up as the doctor suddenly entered the room. A grim look on his face, "It doesn't look good. You should prepare yourself."

The doctor then left as Leah's fell back down onto his chair. Shock on his face as realization hit him. He was losing another daughter. I could only imagine the helplessness he was feeling at the moment. At least this time he wasn't losing her because of the enemy. Instead his lack of action brought her to where we were now. I just hope he didn't regret it later one.

Slowly I walked up to him, making him look at me. Tears forming in his already swollen red eyes. "Do you consent?" I asked him. Not needing to explain.

He hung his head before he answered, "I consent. Do what you need to."

With those few words, I turned around and left the room. Grabbing my cell phone from my pocket. I had to move quick if we were going to make this work. I just hope Leah's father was aware that he was never going to see his daughter ever again after today.
