《Unholy Seven》Chapter 1: Unholy Trinity

The sun shined down from a clear blue sky upon the Portland, Oregon skyline. In the park, a boy with brown hair and glasses and twin girls with silver hair were playing hide-and-seek.
“Chris, close your eyes and count to sixty. We'll go hide,” Jeni, the oldest twin said. “And no peeking,” Jesi, the youngest twin said. “Or you won't get your reward,” both girls said at the same time.
“Okay,” the boy said. As he closed his eyes tightly and proceeded to count, the girls ran off to go hide. “Fifty-eight...fifty-nine...sixty! Ready or not, here I come!”
“Chris, you can open your eyes now.”
I opened my eyes. Before me both Jeni and Jesi stood in beautiful summer dresses. Jeni's dress was a light blue with pink sakura blossoms on it. Jesi's was yellow also with pink sakura blossoms on it. Their slender frames holding the cascading cloth like clotheslines in the wind. Both dresses had plunging necklines that extended to subtly expose their supple C-cup cleavage. It was enough to make any man both race with excitement and blush with embarrassment if they stared too long.
“Well, whose dress is better?” Jeni asked. “And don't hold back, we want your honest opinion.” Jesi said. “Or else, you won't get your reward.” both girls said at the same time.
“God, girls, I hate when you force me into comparing you two. I love you both equally and can never hold one above the other. It just wouldn't be right. And besides, you know it always creeps me the fuck out when you both talk at the same time. But just so that you know, you both look beautiful. Nothing can hold a candle to either of you.” Damn, I'm ever the suave gentleman.
“Good answer, now here's your reward.” both girls said. They leaned in and kissed me on opposite cheeks. “Dad was right in approving you to be our husband.”
The three of us walk arm-in-arm across Pioneer Courthouse Square to get to the waterfront so that we could celebrate The Bite of Portland. We had waited all summer for this event. The smell of food was whetting our appetites and driving us madder than a pack of ravenous wolves. Suddenly, the sky started to darken, the ground shook, and lightning crashed across the skyline. People began running in panic for shelter as a low rumbling and maniacal laughter began to emanate throughout the air.

The demon materialized above the square and began inflicting devastating energy attacks on the frightened people below. “Foolish humans, your day of reckoning has come! Today you will know true terror and despair.”
“Motherfucker, this date is ruined! Girls, you know what time it is.”
We raise our energy levels to our maximum output. My red aura, Jeni's blue aura, and Jesi's green aura shone like bright stars through the darkness. My eyes changed from their natural state of hazel to a deep golden yellow. Jeni's and Jesi's naturally golden eyes burned bright as the sun. My sword appeared on my right hip, ready to be drawn at a moment's notice. Jeni's bow appeared, as did Jesi's staff. We were ready to kick some demon ass.
“Hey, Cortana, play ass-kicking playlist, maximum volume.” I shout.
“Playing ass-kicking playlist. Warning. Full volume may damage hearing. Recommend softer volume levels.” The AI implant chided.
“Fuck you, I'm not human. Disregard warning. Play at full volume.” I growl.
“Warning disregarded. Playing at maximum volume.”
I launch into the air at the demon as the J-pop metal music started to blare into my eardrums. Jeni pulls back on her bow, loosing an energy arrow straight at the demon. Jesi uses her staff to cast a spell of protection over the three of us.
“Puny mortal, you dare to defy me! I will tear you to shreds.” the demon shouts at me as I flew towards him.
“You're about to find out, I'm anything but mortal, asshole!” I shout back. I land a few solid punches and kicks on him just enough to push him back a couple yards.
“You are strong, I'll give you that. But you still won't be able to defeat me.” the demon taunted.
“You'll find out I'm full of surprises.” I retort.
I launch at the demon full speed again, this time reaching out to swipe him with the claws that extended from my fingers. The demon repelled my attack with a swipe of his own, tearing open the flesh on my arms, causing me to start bleeding. I stop in my tracks and pull back a few feet to regroup and reassess the situation.
The demon stares at me for a moment, then motions to my sword. “I see that you carry a sword, but you have yet to draw it. Why do you hesitate? Do you doubt your skills as a swordsman?” He then looked down at Jeni and Jesi. “Perhaps if I attack them, then you will draw.” The demon then proceeds to turn from me and fly down towards Jeni and Jesi.

I go into a tyrannical rage. “YOU FUCKING BASTARD!!!! DON'T YOU LAY A GODDAMNED HAND ON THEM!!!!” I charge head first at top speed towards the demon to intercept between the twins and him. I barely make it behind the girls to scoop them up out of harm's way. I crash to the ground, holding both girls close to me so as to shield them from the impact.
“Are you okay? You're not hurt are you?” I ask them.
“No, we're fine.” they both say. “Now get up, go get him, darling.”
I stand up with a renewed fire in my spirit. My blood boiling with rage. “How dare you attack my betrothed, you son of a bitch!”
“Your betrothed, you say. That is why you are so attached to them. Perhaps I will not kill them after all. Maybe I should take them as my concubines.” the demon says, grinning sadistically.
“FUCK YOU, ASSHOLE!!!!” I charge at the demon with full on rage, trying to draw my sword, but to no avail. The chain that seals it away won't allow me.
The demon knocks me back with his hardest backhand to my chest. “So it seems that you cannot draw your sword. Your power is sealed. You are weak.”
The demon's blow sends me flying backwards toward Jeni and and Jesi. I land at them kneeling on the ground. They grab me by both arms and proceed to pull me to my feet.
“Foolish boy, have you forgotten the seal we placed on your sword. Prepare to receive your reward.” Both girls then proceed to kiss me on the mouth, our tongues entwined in passion as our love and power begin to exponentially increase. As we finish the kiss, the chain unlocks on my sword, my fangs grow, and a blood-lust begins to take over.
“Now go, our beloved, show your true nature and destroy this foul abomination.”
“I love you both. Now go, before my thirst consumes me.”
As Jeni and Jesi step away from me, an explosive wind erupts around me. My rage settles and I become an entirely new being. I am focused. I draw my sword and point it at the demon. “Today, you die. For I am unholy judgment, sent by God, to purge the Earth of all it's demons.”
The demon grins at me. “So now you reveal your true form, vampire. You are darkness incarnate, just like me.”
“Yes, I am darkness incarnate, but nothing like you. I reign down fire and brimstone upon God's enemies. It is by this holy sword that His love is cast on humanity and and death is delivered to the minions of Hell.”
With a surefire confidence and blinding speed, I charge at the demon. Simultaneously, he draws his own sword to block my incoming attack. We trade blows back and forth, slashing each other's bodies causing blood to flow like a fountain onto the square. I slash at his legs to disable him, then promptly remove his sword arm. The demon stumbles onto his back with a paralyzing fear in his eyes.
“What in the hell are you?! You're no mere vampire! Please, spare me! I can be your humble servant.”
“No, you are a demon. Though I am a creature of chaos, I am a servant of God. May His divine wrath purge you from this world for the sake of peace and love for humanity through Jesus Christ His Son. Amen.” I grab the demon by the shoulders, bite down on his clavicle, and proceed to drain what blood is left in his body. Once he is lifeless, I drop his corpse to the ground. I take my sword and decapitate him. I shake the blood off and return the sword to its scabbard. The chain locks on my sword as I collapse to the ground and instantly pass out.

Necromancer and Co.
In a time before the existence of the present, the gods decided to create a plane of existence where all their creations could exist in the same place. In it, all would be fair, and all gaps between races and technological advancements could be crossed with a single system that the gods had created. Every year, the gods would choose a new race to put in their land, and in this new group of beautifully unlucky people, Alen, his friends, and a few people from Earth have finally met their turn to be tossed into the playground of the gods. Unfortunately though, Alen was thrust into a forest of corpse-eating bears and horribly smelly undead on his first day, one of the many danger-zones of the continent the gods had chosen to throw them in. It would be easy to say that he simply died within the first day, or that he'd starved to death or whatever, but let's be honest... That story would be no fun to tell, yes? (Re-write of my first fiction with the same name.)
