A HUGE MAKE-SHIFT, CUBICAL TENT made of transparent plastic was pumped with axenic oxygen by a roaring generator, in a secluded warehouse in Staten Island, New York. Inside the tent, were two other fellow scientists with Dr Boris Yankoff — they were finding for a cure to the Medusa Virus.
They looked sickly despite the precautions to evade direct contact to the deviant atmosphere.
Outside the tent, were six other female assistants and technicians on computers; analyzing the research of the contained three male scientists. Sonia Petrov and another African, female doctor stood and observed the trio looking into a microscope slide, projected on the monitor screen.
Dr Yankoff punched the table in anger, and ribald in Russian...
"The fucking strand structure is so complexly designed and the enzyme has no effect! How the hell did those fucking Slovakian bastards come up with such an abstruse compound mapping — this is impenetrable strand is far complex than on the one from the pandemic COVID-19...!"
This worried Sonia who was outside the tent — she still feared for being incriminated as an abettor to the entire global mess that had been happening over the month.
The younger, fellow male colleague in the makeshift, oxygen tent suggested to the senior, Nobel Prize, awarded scientist...
"Maybe we should work on the other theories that you suggested yesterday — there must be another way to beat the epidemiology rate, Dr Yankoff."
The old man retorted back in rage...
"But quick, we have to work fast! This virus is mutating so rapidly — and for every hour we lose — I see more blood on my hands...
"That fucking Mladic, he did not understand what he had done when he released the virus contagion — this is far worse than a nuclear attack!"

A wicked job for wicked people as they say, but things weren't easy as it seems when THEY themselves are always on the run. Whether from vengeful barons or rivals with personal vendetta, there are always those who wanted them captured dead or alive (mostly dead though). But all of it would soon change when the two stumbled upon another curious duo; a former knight-wannabe adventurer and a travelling humanitarian doctor who isn't exactly a human. From there on, it's an all out adventure for four of them as they ventured across all of Erde; a world of wondrous magic, mystical beings, legendary warriors, kings of great and terrible, mighty dragons of all shapes and sizes and other stuff you would expect coming from a fantasy world archetype.
