《Order: The Symbolic's Tale of Telekinetic and Family》Chapter 0: Background (Updated)

The war had many reasons to exist, the Long War it was called. A battle between two factions, The Serete United and the Legion's Order. They are now known as the Septem People's Republic and the Legions of the New Order. Historians dated the feud back to the Medieval Period, it is said even extraterrestrials were involved. Although many disagree with that conclusion. It was said it all started with cruelty and abusive power, but really in the shadows of battles and conflict, there was something much more worth fighting for.
Back at that period, there were two factions that were once united. They were of the same people who prospered together and fought their advisories together. Now, this could not be proved, but the people had been visited by other beings from another world, not even that, in some ancient stories from the Long War, it is said that the beings were from another dimension. Many can argue these claims were untrue, however there are many old portraits and paintings by artists from that time period showing the people, from that kingdom, being greeted by what seemed like other humans. In one of the portraits, the Beings wore cloak like robes that were grey with a sparkling black, another color as well although it is a dark blur found on the neck and shoulders.
In the painting, the sky is blue like how any sky would be during the day, but in certain spots in the sky, giant diamonds sit still in the sky with slight blur and darkness in its core. Historians, and enthusiasts of aliens believe they are portals, or gate ways to another place, not quite like ours. The people in the painting seem as if it is normal and all seem calm, giving possible theories that these Beings were not hostile, and came in peace. Many paintings from many different artists drew similar scenes. The Beings were said to observe the humans and understand them. As well with the humans, but not quite understanding much about the Beings. The Beings had abilities humans were not capable of, there were stories of them in flight, abnormal strength, and precision, along with many more. The Beings were organized, and very intelligent. They came in diplomatic manners.

They had a military, and what seemed like "ambassadors". In some days, the "ambassadors" and military visited, bringing strange artifacts and tools. It is even said very rarely the Beings gave weapons to the people of the kingdom. Also adding that, one of those weapons was very likely to be recorded as probably the first machine operated projectile weapon, though not created by man.
On another note, no human has ever passed through the other side through these strange diamond gate ways.
In these past tales, there were some iconic figures. King Hettsford was a notable character, powered by the urge to keep a strong kingdom, grew him to be an aggressive and strong leader. Serete United had its iconic characters aswell, these included the notable seven knights that fought side by side, to end the reign of King Hettsford and his Legion Knights.
The kingdom was broken into two, with Hettsford's wanting the Being's resources and advancement. However the Beings did not slay one human nor take action in the war, they observed exactly how they always did. King Hettsford asked for the Being's assistance in ending the Serete uprising, but the "ambassador" stated it was not their war. Even the Serete asked for aid, and yet again, they denied. The battles were harsh, and gruesome. Many lost their lives fighting for their success of their own faction. The Beings took note of the battles and events, and took note of seven individuals from the Serete United. They were warriors and fought fiercely with passion alongside each other like brothers. Although they were not related at all, they were family.
The Hettsford knights were also fierce fighters, they were loyal to their king. The Beings were amazed at the peasants over throwing the house of Hettsford after many struggles and loss. It had taken much time for them and were in celebration after their victory. Loyal people of the Hettsford kingdom ran off and spread word. They hoped to regain strength and build up an attack to take back their kingdom. The peasants were a tough group for many to attempt to beat. When other kingdoms got word of the fall of king Hettsford, they took the opportunity to strike for keep of the land, and rumored treasure from the Beings. The peasants knew of this and expected such happenings. They were not ignorant people.

After the defeat of the Hettsford knights, they quickly established order and elected a new king, a fair one. In addition, they had changed the Hettsford colored banners and armor from a dark blue and red outline, to a white and red and black outline. They established a new name, Serete Kingdom. They replaced the old Hettsford symbol of the cross and crown, to the symbol of leadership and cooperation. This symbol was taken out of inspiration from the Being's many symbols and wonderful meanings. It appears as the number seven, tilted and crossed with another seven, but this seven is backwards, tilted in the opposite direction.
The Serete trained all of their battle ready men for expecting attacks, and sure enough they came. Enemy kingdoms came to takeover, but the Serete pushed them back from where they came from. In other times, the Serete would attack other kingdoms, for they were a very strong force. The seven individuals whom the Beings observed were very strong and very powerful. They were a tremendous team and led their knights to victory. The Beings took account of these individuals and were very inspired of their bravery and determination to fight for liberation and proper order.
After the Serete kingdom was settled, the Beings ceased to show. No one of that kingdom knew why, and certainly no one now knows, however it could mean something. It's only a matter of time to truly find out.
Long has passed since then, and the Long War is still raging on. No peace can be found. Only the death of one another can ease the suffering. The Septem or the Legionists.
Advancements in technology has had its spotlight for the military economy. This is not a war of machines, this is a war of determination. Countless times of land loss and gain, the need to build artificial land has ravaged the oceans of Earth. The world will destroy itself before it finds a solution. The past clued of a brighter future, but for who. James is sought to be one of the seven, destined to return peace for Humanity, and relatives out in the stars of a different time.

Long Island
Long Island was not the first virtual reality game or to say a VRMMORPG. Not the one which changed the world and became a legend. No, it was made when there were lots (quite a few) of virtual reality games already on the market. Each game had its own unique AI feature, its own unique adventure, promising everyone a chance to become King, if not a God. In such a time Long Island was made. Just a little different, just a little unique. Swamy was starting his own adventure, in life and in game.Note - Thanks @DameCarnelian for the cover. Just so people don't get confused, that ship is not Raka's ship :)

As an author, I'd like to interact with my community and get ideas and what I can improve on. I'm not perfect and don't expect a masterpiece. I may have a bit of experience writing as a hobby, I make mistakes and my style is a bit rough around the edges. I hope you stick around and watch me build this story up. I don't have a predetermined schedule and the releases will be slow. Since I got college, my schedule is most likely 1-2 chapters a month but that shouldn't be that bad since I get some time to think about what I can write in the story. Again, my apologies for that. I hope I have your support moving forward and that you enjoy the characters and their journies.
