At first they congratulated me but I didn’t care. No how could they be satisfied with so little. There's so much more I need to know. I’m so curious and if no one else has the answers then I’ll just get them myself. I June Markov may only be a humble researcher but I can tell already. I need to know. What is the answer? God I’m so curious. This need I have. This need to know. It can’t be wrong.

“ I see that is amusing… no if you are serious and the god of time has sent a warning much less me and the other heroes this is something that will affect the whole world. But it’s how it will affect us and the whole world that concerns me… what do you guys think”
The man named Arion with white hair who sat at the front of the group asked.
“ Your the one that wanted to handle her on your own so you do it. It seems only fair that we give you this old man”the one who sat right next to Arion was the one who spoke.
“ thanks for your input Kane anyone have any problems with me hearing this warning I mean after all I’m not gonna be the hero of fate after tomorrow and well in my personal belief this seems like something an that couldn’t be see as arbitrary.”
This time a new voice called out. It was a rougher voice filled with playfulness but also seem to urge Arion on.
“ you wanted to work for a change so do the work don’t back off now that is might be more work than you originally thought”
“ Ok ok but you know if you think I’m lazy you're gonna be in for a shock when you meet the new guy”

“ oh don’t worry we know”
“ So then… you old bat, what is it you want to say”
Now the one named Talua seems to have taken the time to get comfortable while the other spoke among themselves but it was clear as day that something was making her uncomfortable.
“ so ok I’ll save the most important bit for last. First I give you one for old times sake. You should make your peace. You will not see tomorrow. Your time has come. Arion my old nemesis this is goodbye”
Arion giggled to himself a bit but slowly the words spoken to him seem to click. The pleasant atmosphere seem to die with those words and for a long time Arion remain silent. The group around him look on with worries glazes. Their original carefree state was gone in a flash and the room seemed to change. No one in the room didn’t seem affected by this news. And of course Arion the god of fate was clearly the most. For it is fates nature to accept their situation and make the most of it.
“ You know… that’s… I… what am I supposed to do with that knowledge… that’s something I been preparing for… something I thought would happen much sooner but… something ahh I should probably say something right now. but I’m gonna leave, you know ahh I’m sorry even though I said I’d handle this ahh oh boy. What am I gonna tell me successor, he’s not ready yet.” And with that the man rose to his feet and simply left.
For a time there was silence that went uninterrupted for a long time until the woman spoke
“ This was the best way for him. Trust me I knew the untertives but he would be too troubled by the message I carry.”

“ Who the fuck are you to… ok I understand please continue what else is their we need to know” a woman spoke. She had long red hair tide in braids, three in total and was wearing a couple of thick furs which was clearly emphasized by the fine silk of Arion or the pure gold armour of the man next to her.
The rest focus in they new that the old woman was a powerful seer who has bested everyone in this room. In her prime she was a thief until who rob many kings and even a few dragons and had beat the hero’s in this room. But they new her as the hero of time stealing treasure was more like a hobby to this woman.
They also new that something was wrong as their gods had called everyone here. Most of the hero’s had although know about this place for they had come here to take the trial of their gods to become the warriors they are today many had not set foot here for hundreds of years and most never planed to again but here they were on orders of their god to come to this place. They had come from many realms mainly the realm of the fae but some came from the land of monsters.
Two from some of the smaller realms that are about the size of a single country and 5 from the realm of mortality or the land ruled by humans. But each of them knew that this was what they came to do. Or more specifically they were told to come and listen which was why they were open to the idea of another handling the situation.
The one named Talua turn her glaze back to the front. They she slowly turn around until she faced the woman in furs. Her eyes wet.
“ The currently age will die in twenty years today and on that day three beings will be born in our world. These being are things that have lived before and now they are returning. Slowly even now as we speak they are their in a dark place hiding and waiting for their time. The shadows converge and at this ages death they shall be free to come here and rise again not reincarnated or as undead but as something much more.”
“ if they have lived before then” but before that thought could be finished he was cut off
“ I get to that but please just listen.” Fear in her voice as her eyes began to water.
“ They have born many names over their lives and even today we know them. The realms feared them and once more we shall know the weight of fear that the darkness brings for they are the calamities and once more they shall teach us to fear. But there's hope still. Hope in one. One who shall save us from the dark and drag the world into the light once more. For once this age dies a new one will be born. And it shall be named the age of hope”

8 142The Lay of the Black Doors
Nikha von Kranssov awakens one sunny morning to find that things have gone all wrong: Her maid has been murdered, her father is missing, and her house, Eldergrave Manor, is far larger and less familiar than it should be. She decides to grab her trusty rifle and set out into a home made strange and sinister, determined to find her father and confront whoever is responsible. The Lay of the Black Doors is a horror/adventure story that takes place in a secondary world. It is mainly inspired by the Cthulhu Mythos, Amnesia: The Dark Descent, China Miéville’s Bas-Lag books, M.T. Anderson’s The Game of Sunken Places, and Shea and Wilson’s The Illuminatus! Trilogy. Be warned that the story involves frightening situations and occasional dark themes, as well as some violence and gore. Weekly updates. No longer on hiatus! The cover image is not mine. It is "The Drawbridge," a 1761 engraving by Giovanni Battista Piranesi.

There is a common line of questioning that falls upon students within their first moments at Kingsly. “Why?”. The student asks, “Why am I here?”. This is a futile line of questioning. There are those who remember, and those who do not. I’ll spare you the technical explanation — that’s what we have teachers for. The jist is as follows: those who remember are... how do I put this... more likely. They occupy more time. and the space that time has allowed them — the pertinent amount — is experienced no matter what. Allow me to offer you a bit of personal information: I am not one who remembers. There is no time relevant to me, no space that I occupy. I exist by carving myself here, and continue to exist in the same fashion. You would do well to follow suit. Why am I here? Because I force myself to be. Because the universe, the universes, for all its kicking and screaming, cannot escort me out.

8 190Tale about fire
This tale starts like many others, with a slave boy that escaped and now seeks the power to never suffer in the hands of another again, with an unbalanced and cruel world where the strong rule and the weak serve, filled with natural dangers and opportunities to the ones that call themselves practitioners, the ones who seek the power of the Four. It follows as the disgusted by the world boy, resolved to change it by fire and destruction if needed find his way into the practitioners’ world in a search for true strength. Little the boy knew that his fate, or chains if you would, bounded him to so much more than just that. - I apologize in advance for any grammatical mistakes, part of why I’m writing this tale is to get better in the language. It’s also my first story so constructive criticism is appreciated.
