Keima felt a great rush of adrenaline. His blood pumping swiftly throughout his body, which left him to believe that he could do just about anything he wanted, even something irrational. Keima clutched his hand into a fist, and slowly walked up behind the smaller of the two thieves. He then hit the smaller thief in the side of the head, directly on the temporal bone, sending him a few feet to the side. The thief hit his head against the gas station's metal doorway, hard. Keima was proud of himself. So much in fact, that he lost sight of the other, much larger thief.
"That kinda hurt, but it felt really good!" Keima would speak out, full of himself.
Within a range of thirty-seconds, a loud bang was heard, deafening him. Keima felt a great pain in his chest, as he fell onto his knees and plummeted down onto the marble floor. The whole world became a dark void for him. He heard no sounds, nor did he see anything. Everything was a pitch-black void.
After around thirty-minutes, a bright light would come. The light brought hope, more specifically, a way of survival. As the dark void got brighter from the light. Keima began to see what seemed to be a human-like figure. The figure slowly decended, from what seemed to be a giant platform.
"What the hell." Keima said with confusion, unsure of what the figure was.
The figure seemed to 'park' the large platform, as it stepped toward Keima. Revealing itself to be a typical male wearing clothing from a typical 'popular magazine' online.
The figure stepped in front of the now-shocked and confused Keima, as he spoke with the tone of a teenager "Keima Okirou, I'll give you two options. You can either A, be reincarnated into the world you know. Or B, be reincarnated into my personal "World of Fantasy."

Keima opened his mouth to speak, and grinned as he finished his sentence.

The concept comforted him at least, but it turns out death is not always as permanent as people liked to think, because Andrew somehow found himself in New York City of all places after falling to his certain death in the Devil's hole, Death Valley Nevada., only thing was it certainly wasn't the New York that he knew of. The Fantastic Four? Stark Industry? Captain America's biography? Oh boy, and did he mention he's no longer human? His Asian friends had introduced him to the wonders of Isekai novels and mangas, but isn't the order a little messed up? Where's his meeting with the sexy and nice Goddess? Where was his intro or tutorial?? Explanation plz I'm a noob at cross-dimensional travel! Help? Setting? Menu? Status? May I please get to pick my own cheat power? No? I'm stuck as a virus? Well, At least the Prototype Virus was pretty darn cool and OP. Just not as op as being able to casually break the sound barrier in my sneakers or bench pressing the earth, but I'll just have to make do. After all, every city or densely populated area had been hit with natural disasters that encompassed tsunamis, Earthquakes, Firestorms, Typhoons, and hurricanes. Power, food, infrastructure. All of it was gone and what came after was worse as humans were no longer top of the food chain. Yet the imminent destruction of the 21st century re-opened a veil that had kept the world safe from hidden dangers, or maybe it was the other way around. Time will tell. In our story, the Protagonist rises from the ashes of the apocalypse. A desert child soldier nurtured by tragedy and death looking for an escape to fill the void in his heart.
